Okay this is a cool blog I love all the Drayton stuff the angst it fuels me. Something about wanting to see your fav put into situations

For an angsty scene, I like to think that the Terrarium can still be dangerous if someone gets caught off guard. Maybe Drayton's been training in the Polar Biome and all his Pokemon are exhausted. His plan is to find a rest area to heal up.

Maybe on the way he got blindsided by a wild Pokemon or its attack (the Beartics in that always chase me lmao). Got knocked out for a bit and when he rouses, he realises that adrenaline is one hell of a drug. Gotta go find help or something cause it messed up his ankle and he's got no mons to help. His Rotom Phone either ran out of juice or broke from the attack

Just thinking about him stumbling his way through the snow, always tripping and falling without a support stick or something. Pain and fear warred within him and he's just trying to get somewhere safe

Maybe E4 realises something's up when they try to contact Drayton but it says it's not available after he missed something he promised to attend. Just picturing them heading out to find clues on what happened till it led them to the Polar Biome, where they sent out a search until they found him, battered and one step away from a panic attack but, y'know, alive

Omfsss imagine tho him beating himself up bc he wasn't that fit to run such distance from wild pokemon, also the wild pokemon suddenly attacking him too, and he's there going on abt if he just really tried to keep up w Drayden's training, then maybe he'd be able to really fight back even without his pkmn; but he didn't, and it sucks, and now he's trying to find a safer place to stay, hoping help will arrive soon

But also tho imagine him thinking that no one's gonna help him, that maybe people thought he was just slacking somewhere else, that he's probs sleeping in the club room or inside one of the abandoned and empty classrooms, and the fear creeps up on him y'know, it scares him that maybe his laziness would really be the reason for his downfall like everyone said it'd be. Just him finally finding a place to hide, but the fear is still there y'know, the paranoia he has that maybe the others won't bother finding him, that they really think he's just taking a nap somewhere and forgot abt their lil meet up

And soon that fear starts to build up, that paranoia along with his self loathing just clawing out from within his chest, he wants to scream. He can feel his breath hitch, his chest feels tight, tears threatening to fall, Arceus he really was a failure

When helped finally arrived, he almost thought he was just hallucinating from the fatigue, that the Crispin and Lacey and Amarys he sees are just figments of his imagination, his own mind messing w him even more, but no, those really are his friends, and it only took for Crispin to call out his pokemon to help warm Drayden up

Imagine him just gripping Crispin's arms tight, grounding himself too. Crispin was warm, he doesn't wanna let go, god he hasn't stopped shivering. Amarys and Crispin had to help him up to take him outta there, Lacey was there carrying the pokeballs Drayton has, half muttering how all his pokemon are in no condition to fight anymore, Lacey's there reassuring him that they'll have all his pokemon healed

When they got him to the nurse's office imagine them not wanting to leave this side tho hahah like, that's their friend, no, they won't leave him behind again, doesn't matter how long they have to wait for him to recover and wake up again, they won't ever leave his side again

Five Problems with Social Media

Pertengahan April kemaren, gue membuka lagi lemari usang penuh debu bernama Twitter. Terakhir bikin twit itu tahun 2015, berarti udah 5 tahun gue tinggalin dia hahaha trus aku bangga udah pernah meninggalkan :”) Dan waktu itu tergiur untuk aktif lagi nulis di sana. Feel nya ya kek nemu kertas kosong yg bersedia untuk ditulis aja. Pelarian juga, selain wadah biru tuwa ini.

Seminggu gue pake, eh gue auto-evaluasi wkwk. Kerasa banget aura negatif nan mistis memakai si burung biru muda ituu. Karena gue udah lama gak install instagram due to my experience suffering from the bad things it gave me, lah yang ini ternyata gak ada bedanya. Cuma beda tipis tipis doang. Thus i decided to say bubye to Twitter, lyke i’m so sorry i don’t need you after all.

Nah, karena masih seger gue coba jabarin evaluasi yang gue rasain waktu itu.

Hal pertama banget ini yang bikin gue kesel maen twitter. Setiap retweet-an dari orang lain tu isinya membahas sesuatu yang.... sebenernya serius dan menarik sih. Sampe jadi thread gitu kan. Dan BANYAK hal, kasus, berita, topik yang jadi thread padahal ada juga yang sepele. Trus yang komen juga netijennya bejibun. Padahal isi komennya sama. Di thread manapun, i found something like that. Always. Trus mikinya jadi... Emang semua hal perlu dikomenin ya? Anjir cape banget dong hidup kaya gitu. Jadi yang tadinya asik baca thread malah muak :(

Tanpa sadar kita gue tu terbiasa bukain satu satu sosmed yang gue punya. Tiap pagi abis ngecek WA, buka Line. Abis itu buka Tumblr. NAH gak kebayang kalo masih install IG dan Twitter, pagi aing akan berlalu sia-sia dan tetiba nyeletuk apa? udah jam setengah 1? anjaaay hape bangsaaad

Kita semua punya hati kan ya? Pasti punya. Coba tanya hatinya, apakah sosmed yang kamu install sekarang bikin hati kamu tenang? Dipenuhi dengan hal-hal positif? Bikin kamu makin produktif, dan termotivasi untuk berubah ke versi kamu yang lebih baik? Ataaaaauuuuu malah sebaliknya. Bikin gak tenang. Gampang emosi. Bawaannya geram pen julid. Iri sama si anu kok keknya hidupnya enak banget. Nyinyirin si fulan yang terus terusan pamer mesra sama suamiknya.

Since anyone can access, whether they hide themselves or show the real ones, social media is a relieved as well as terrible place to be. Tong kosong melengking bunyinya itu nyata banget dan dapat dibuktikan melalui tulisan dan komentar pengguna yang mengandung virus kebencian dan kegublukan di dalamnya. They type something fake, something hurtful, cursing, blaming, mocking, humiliating, for free. Free from feeling “am i rude doing this? am i being ridiculous? will my words hurt people? do i really need to say this? AM I PERFECT ALREADY?”

The point is.... medsos membuat sebagian manusia terkikis rasa simpati dan empatinya. Dikalahkan dengan narsisme, dengan gimana supaya tulisan dan komen gue viral, yang teratas, direspon dan dilihat dan disukai oleh banyak orang. Dikalahkan dengan arus kekinian yang membuat ambyar akal sehat.

The only thought bouncing around in my head is that when Iris told Hau that her favourite games are first person shooters, the first thing he said was “you really are Unovan”. Man said it without thinking and they thought it was the funniest shit at the time. Iris always bring it up whenever they play fps together

Anyways, do Iris and Hau ever try get the older champions to play video games with them? Imagine them trying to tell each of the champions what buttons do what and one of them (preferably Lance) says the whole “back in my day we just had two buttons and a joystick”. And once they get the hang of the game controls, it’s just chaos. They’re all yelling at each other and throwing insults left and right

God, imagine playing Mario Party with them. No one would be safe

Also that's fucking cute tho??? Iris and Hau just teaching the older champions abt new games and such and asking em to play w em and I'm gonna end up rambling again bc champions as found family doing mundane stuff just makes me soft

Lance definitely would say that tho checks out too bc Cynthia even makes fun of him how he doesn't know how to use his phone that much hahaha but hey he's vibing tho, he likes seeing the kids happy, although he's still a little bit confused by the controls. They do find out tho he also likes fps games, and now Hau has to deal w not one, but TWO bloodthirsty and rage filled champions when it comes to those games. Lance swears like crazy when playing he rages like no shit, and that's how Hau discovered every cuss word in the book

Now Steven likes Mario Party w them, he said it's fun and he thinks the character dice are cool too, he likes the design. But honest to God he fucking hates losing. This man has the most passive aggressive aura when he fucking loses I shit you not. Like they could be playing Mario Kart and someone blue shells him, he would just smile and go "now, that wasn't very nice," while gripping the controller hard. He broke three controllers now actually

Wallace has experience at least bc his niece does like playing video games too, and it's nice watching Iris and Hau play whenever they have their champion's meet up, reminds him of Lisia. But I also wanna say he's really shitty when it comes to games, Hau and Iris ended up showing him Stardew Valley bc hey it's just a farm sim, he doesn't have to be quick or anything, and he actually liked it and said he's going to date every npc and the two said it's on brand of him—

Cynthia knows every kind of game under the sun, and the three of em have lil game nights too, altho it also ends w Cynthia encouraging them pulling an all nighter bc she's the type of player to grind until she gets the item she wants. Really into online RPGs, likes the character customization, and likes the stories, got Iris and Hau to play those games w her too and imagine she's like max level/rank and the two are just "woah, you must've played this game for a long time hahah" and Cynthia's just "oh no, I just started playing this yesterday"

Teaching Diantha how to play the games they wanted was a mess bc Dia was asking what each of the buttons are for almost every two seconds, so they end up installing games on her phone instead bc the only other game she had there was chess. She didn't really get the hang of the games Iris and Hau plays, but she's really fucking good at rhythm games. Like... It's terrifying. She'd probs clear out the hardest song of Project Sekai or Osu or ADOFAI or whatevs and they found out no matter what platform, Dia's hands are quick to press the right keys, and after the hard levels she's all "that was fun, do they have other songs? I think I've cleared out everything"

They invited Leon to their online rpg game once. He got lost trying to find them. They ended up showing him platformer games and it really made him happy cause he legit just has to go one way every time hahah. He's good w the Mega Man games tho, also somewhat good at speedrunning said games for whatever reason Iris and Hau can't figure out— they made him play Cuphead once, never again, Diantha almost didn't buy them another console after Leon raged when he couldn't beat Cagney Carnation after numerous attempts and actually threw his controller at the screen. Surprisingly tho, he doesn't cuss when he rages, probs experience playing w Hop too hahaha

Since Iris and Hau knows Geeta loves horror movies, they also made her play horror games as well. To no surprise she's good at those games, knows where to find every item, how to progress no matter how cryptic the instructions are, how to outrun the one trying to kill her, doesn't fucking flinch when there's a jumpscare— they also showed her Dead by Daylight and man she fucking loves that game so much and Iris and Hau were low-key regretting it bc now Geeta invites almost every champion to play that game w her bc she knows she's gonna win every fucking time and it's not like they don't like to see Geeta being happy, I'm sure it's what Diantha wanted too, but every time Geeta kills one of their player characters she start laughing to herself and starts humming "I wonder who's next" while hunting down the others. It kinda scares them hahaha

But yeah imagine Smash Bros w them tho cjdmdn like they would be at each other's throats going on why they choose the charac they chose or some are even fighting over the same character bc ofc "I chose them first!" "No! I did!" But hey, at the end of the day, they're just having fun, no matter how many controllers or consoles got broken every game night

-idk I just think that maybe Diantha doesn't want their relationship to be public knowledge just yet bc she knows just how the media can get w relationships like this, so she's kinda paranoid

-it only took Iris accidentally calling them mom and dad one time for Dia and Lance to finally open up abt their relationship to the Champions and their family., and ofc Iris was the first one they told it to

-it was fun tho seeing the other Champions try to set them up on dates when they're already dating hahah but still it really surprised them that they were already together

•these two are so trigger happy I want you to know, like if you think Lance commanding Dragonite to Hyper Beam someone is bad wait till you hear abt Diantha's Mega Gardevoir w a Pixilate boosted Hyper Beam

-Lance seeing Dia command Gardevoir to use that move and he's just "Arc, she's so fucking perfect"

-they were fighting like a few evil org grunts in a region to help out its Champion so yeah

-but like then again yeah Diantha hides that side well, but Lance saw it and man he is down horrendous

-one meeting, it became too much for him to handle that he excused himself and he went out to touch grass—

-but fr he was like, crying,, and he was there punching the trees and screaming and the pkmn there actually got a bit scared

-then hey Dia found him yknow. Found him slumped against a tree, he looked so tired, eyes bloodshot, his knuckles were red and bruised. She slowly approached him, kneeling right in front of him, smiling so softly yet her voice carried such concern that he never thought he could hear from anyone.

"there you are.. I've been looking everywhere for you.."

and Lance finally looks up to her, sees her worried look, and god he felt like shit that he's worrying Diantha

"I'm sorry.."

"whatever for?"

Lance then tells her what's bothering him, that he thinks he's really weak, that he really couldn't be the perfect Champion of the Indigo League, that some people still don't see him as a Champion, and he really trauma dumped on her. And by the end of it, Diantha was at his side, wrapping her arms around his torso, pulling him close to her. Lance let's out a dry laugh, leaning in to Diantha, "why.. do you still put up with me..?"

Diantha gave him a smile, soft and gentle as her touch on his cheek, "because I love you." And Lance let out a choked sob, pulling her impossibly closer to him.

Everyone is already tired of Eepy after a month, mf is even starting to piss off Iris because he won’t listen to her

So imagine how defeated everyone felt when Iris came home with a Tyrunt , a Pokémon that likes to bite even more that Gible, and their bites are known to hurt like a bitch

Even Drayden is starting to think letting Iris bring home wild baby Pokémon is a bad idea, if the broken TV is anything to go by

I just imagine the lead up to that was just, Iris sitting them down on the couch and looking at them in the eye seriously

“I’m going into the next room to do some paperwork”

“Tyrunt!” “Ble!”

“Promise me that you’ll behave by yourselves until I’m done”

“RuntRunt” “Gible!”

“Ok, I’ll get this done as fast as I can”

And not even five minutes later does Iris hear a crash. Girly is really contemplating whether she should let Drayden find the mess first or just go clean it up herself

On the bright side, Eepy finally stops biting them 24/7 and instead bites Tyrunt when they play together

No bc in the first ask you sent me I was gonna add like, a small bit of Eepy following Iris during the league meetings and ofc, he's there biting her, and ofc it was expected of Cynthia to say that's normal for Gible bc when her own Garchomp was still a Gible it wouldn't stop biting her too, it still has a habit of biting Cynthia really (Iris hopes and prays everyday that Eepy won't keep that habit when he evolves, please Arceus just this one good thing), but also Diantha saying how it reminds her of her own Tyrantrum when it was still a Tyrunt too, and Iris was just "really? I mean, doesn't your Tyrantrum have Strong Jaw??"

And that's how the Champions found out that Dia took a year off from completing the Gym Challenge bc her Tyrunt bit her arm hard enough it broke her bones lmao

And that in mind, when she found her own Tyrunt, well, she's glad at least that it's Eepy he bites, not her, bc she'd rather not want broken bones too lol

But also now it's Eepy and Terry, im gonna call him Terry bc of Dinosaur King I love Terry so much he's so cute, causing trouble in the league, Caitlin's chambers is off limits now like she legit put up a psychic barrier so the two lil shits won't be able to disturb her while she's sleeping hahaha

Imagine Eepy and Terry just following Iris to another league meeting, Hilbert just gives her a look™

"yes you can!! Why don't you leave them with Bianca?! They listen to her more!"

On the bright side, at least y'know, Eepy and Terry just bite each other and their toys now, not them which made the meeting a bit more bearable lmfaooo

But y'know imagine it got to the point Iris has to beg Bianca to train Eepy and Terry not to bite anyone bc she's the only they listen to, and ofc, Bianca agreed, saying she'd have more time with her lil darlings, Iris still doesn't understand how Bianca's not tired of em, Eepy especially lmfao

The downside of that is that while Bianca did train them to not bite anyone, they would legitimately listen to only Bianca now, like Iris is their actual trainer but they won't even listen to her cjkdjdb hahaha now they follow Bianca around so at least she has more company when doing field work, plus, Eepy and Terry doesn't bite people much anymore so that's an added bonus ig hahah least the league wouldn't have to deal w Terry and Eepy anymore hahaha

Ok ok your SilkWing AU is already top tier. Diantha and Lance would definitely be great parents towards Iris and Silver

But what about aunt Clair? Uncle Augustine? Grandma Drasna??

We all know Clair kicked in the door to Lance’s house to meet her new niece. Then did the same thing to meet her nephew

I’m gonna place my bets and say Drasna cried when meeting Iris. Saying how she’s a grandma now and she’s going to spoil Iris the way she never got to with Diantha

Also you are so true. Lance and Diantha raised him to be respectful and he is, but it’s in his blood to be a piece of shit when the time is right

Oh definitely, Clair just barges in their house all "I HEARD I HAVE A NIECE NOW!"

Clair would cry too fr, she sees Iris for the first time, Iris smiles up at her, and she's already bawling giving her the pokeball containing Deino all "I have a gift for you, Iris, I'm sure you're gonna train it soon to be a strong Hydreigon, and then you can beat your dad and be Champion"

Diantha just smiles at her, all "Clair my dear, I think it's best you give that to her on her tenth birthday, I don't think Iris can train a Pokémon just yet"

"..fine. But this should be her first Pokémon! Tell Lance that, I'm sure he's gonna give her a Dratini." Dia laughed at that but told her that sure, she'll tell that to Lance and just yknow it's all soft and such, Lance never saw Clair this soft and gentle before yknow, it's nice

Bet the moment she heard they have Silver now, aka her new nephew, she gave him a Larvitar instead, going on how "it's not a Dragon, but I think it's only fair since Iris already has a Dragon type, so Silver's Pokémon should be something else, like Diantha's."

"..sure, Clair."

Also it'd be cool if Tyranitar is his ace in this au, bc Tyra can Mega Evolve yknow

God Augustine was over the moon as well, he's like so excited he's an uncle now, imagine him just telling the kids stories abt Dia tho, and just chmdnd him telling the kids abt Mega Evolution, and that's how they discovered abt the mega stones and such yknow, and Silver was so interested in it he wanted a mega stone too, he wanted his Larvitar to mega evolve, and Augustine just laughs and smiles at him, ruffling his hair, "soon, my boy, when your Larvitar becomes a Tyranitar, it can mega evolve like your mother's Gardevoir" and it got Silver so excited he already wanted to train his Larvitar to evolve hahah

Drasna would tho for fucking real cjxmdn like she's the grandma everyone wants hahaha she'd spoil them rotten, imagine how excited she was meeting Iris and only for a year later she meets Silver and she's there hugging the two of them tight all "my grandbabies!" W tears in her eyes. Dia leaves them w Drasna for a bit while she does her Champion duties or acting gigs for a bit, and Drasna's already off w the kids heading to Lumiose before Diantha can give a list on what to do, but hey she trusts Drasna so at least hahah

She def finds Silver's personality endearing too, reminds her back then when Diantha was also so insistent she'd be strong like LucarioMan, but Silver was all "I wanna be strong like mom, I wanna be the Champion too!"

"me too! Wanna be Champion!"

And Drasna's there hand over her chest, god these two are just so cute, and she goes "I'm sure you two will be champions in the future! Who knows, one of you might be Kalos' next Champion!" And that got the kids excited and just cnmxnd your honour please this au is so fucking soft bvdmnd

Like it'd be cool if N was the one similar to Amity tho, like he had his own friend group now, and he was once friends w Hilbert and Hilda, but the three grew apart when Ghetsis didn't want N to hang out w the twins, as they were like Willow, late bloomers, or rather they didn't know what kinda magic they specialized in. Either way, N grew distant, and his only friends were Concordia and Anthea. Ofc, those two weren't like Hilbert and Hilda, N always wanted to hang out w them again, but seeing them w Cheren and Bianca kinda broke him, and maybe he believed that their friendship couldn't be salvaged

And like cbdmdb imagine tho since in my au, N's good w illusions and beast keeping, he'd often make illusions of Hilbert and Hilda to keep him company as they play w the beasts and such, and for N that was enough. Imagine Iris seeing that tho, like after classes maybe, as she's about to go home back to Drayden, she saw N in the forest, creating illusions of Hilbert and Hilda, then he's there talking about his day while petting his fox Palisman, Zorua. Iris felt bad ofc, N just wanted his friends back, wanted to have some sort of connection outside his illusions maybe, so she made herself known to him

"what are you doing here?" He asked, tho his voice was laced with panic, getting rid of the illusions, Zorua was on his shoulders, ready to pounce.

Iris raised her arms, almost telling him she wasn't there to fight, "nothing, I just saw you and.. well, thought you wanted company."

Altho he tried to sound menacing, he really failed, he scoffed, "I don't need the company of a human. The Empress had said humans like you are dangerous."

"do you see me as a threat?"

"..you're friends with them."

"aren't you friends with them too?"

He sighed, looking down, "not anymore.."

And ofc, Iris realized that he saw her as a threat bc she was friends w the twins and even their new friends, not in a way where he believes she could actually kill him. He saw how Iris was like w the beasts of the isles, she was gentle and patient, smth he never thought any human could be, so she's not a danger, ofc she's not. Even the beasts tell him she was a kind person. But.. she was everything N wanted to be. Free from Ghetsis, and could be with his friends again.

Iris knew they weren't that close yet for her to really comfort him, she doesn't know much abt N, only enough from the stories the twins tell her, and before she left, she turns to him, giving him a soft smile, "yknow.. they missed you. If you want, you can join us tomorrow at the library, I'm sure they'd wanna see you again." And finally she left

It took a lot of prompting from Zorua, but N decided, he'll sneak out of the mansion and head to the library tomorrow, he really wanted to see his friends again

As for the wild witches,, yknow I've been thinking abt that cause like, yeah I think Diantha would try to like,, be like Belos in a way where she doesn't want others to have that same power she has, and if anything, if they truly want to, then they should be devoted to her enough and join the Empress' Coven, sealing their fate and staying loyal to her. Tho, even w that, some are still bound to the sigils of the first covens they joined, bound forever in those covens. Perhaps it's Diantha lying yknow, to show them this false hope that once they join the Empress' Coven, they won't be bound by any of the other covens, and honestly it's just Diantha's sick and twisted game just to see people kneel before her and worship her as a god

Idk you could even consider Dia a wild witch, the only one who's capable of doing a lot of different types of magic, even knowing how to harness the power of the glyphs, and the only other one who could do that was Iris, and she hated how a human could do so much magic and even discovered the glyphs before she discovered Drasna's journal, she hated it so so much, she wanted to get rid of her and the rest of the humans as soon as she can, terrified that if Iris could do such feats, then maybe every other human could too. Then again, Drasna was like that, and Lysandre was too... She believes every other human was like Lysandre, and Titan be her witness, she will make sure every human on the other side of the portal will perish by her hands.
