#had a phone call w one of my internship supervisors today#she said something about me last week which i didnt really like. something a long the lines of that she doesnt see me trying? so at first i#was gonna let it go but then a few days back i spoke to my coworker about it and she said i should ask my supervisor to explain what she#meant. cuz then it will a. show that in interested in receiving feedback and im willing to ask for it. b. i can defend myself when my#supervisor gives examples. i can tell her my perspective and c. i wont have to keep thinking about what she said and trying to imagine what#she could have meant with that remark#so i called her today and bro it was sooo nerve wracking#ive noticed i do this thing where i start shaking? when im really nervous? luckily it was over the phone so that helped#she explained what she meant and like my coworker said i was able to know why she said what she said and i was also able to explain some#things and how i saw them#we cleared things up between us i feel like#so im really happy i did it!#and i also just now emailed my teacher asking if i could send in my essay which is for her class on friday bc im struggling with time and#everything i need to finish before friday#worst case: she says no. which i would understand#better case: shes okay with it and i have 1 less thing to worry about until friday 3pm#best case: she says i dont have to make and send it at all cuz i participated enough in class#but thats unlikely#and uhhh yeah#cant wait for sunday cuz ill have a whole day off. a whole day of NOTHING on my mind. oh my god
