Also fun fact about the pacific rim au, skyla and Elesa were to be the pilots while ingo and emmet were going to be sentient jaegers! They spoke within the girls minds :-)

Over here chewing on my phone because I keep thinking about the submas Pacific Rim au.

• Officially calling this au Echoes in the Deep

• I think it'd likely be set in the PR world, (so... the "real" world,) because it just seems easier to do it that way. At least for me. Which means no pokemon, probably. The Becket boys were stationed in Alaska, so I'm going to say the train twins (Trewyn? I like that surname for them a lot) are stationed somewhere in California, despite how much I wish I could set them in New York. But alas. Pacific Rim.

• (Do I need to stick to "logical" things in an au set in a post-kaiju-apocalypse world protected by giant mechs? No. Will I attempt to do so anyway? Yes.)

• Emmet and Ingo are the pilots of the Mark-3 Jaeger Spectre Arachne.

• They're still super famous in this - as Raleigh says, "jaeger pilots became rock stars." They're on par with the Becket brothers and, (because I adore them) the team from Cherno Alpha; just as drift compatable as the Beckets (though maybe not as showboat cocky) and just as brutally efficient as Cherno. Rather than taking delight in how tough a battle is, they take great pride in their ability to take a kaiju down swiftly and cleanly, with as little collateral damage as possible. They have a 0 Human Casualties streak, taking down breached kaiju long before they can ever make it to shore.

• Used a name generator for this, but the kaiju that finally manages to take them down is gonna be called 'Encroacher,' a Category III, same as Knifehead, the kaiju that took down Gipsy Danger. Neither of the boys die, and they manage to just baaaaarely defeat Encroacher, but their jaeger, Spectre Arachne, is fucked.

Wakes up in a cold sweat submas/mechs AU where Ingo dies in Hisui but gets mechanized bc “this guy for sure has a fucked up backstory we could make a song out of”

The crew + Ingo crosses paths with Emmet while on-planet for a tour, cue a bunch of confusion between the twins and amusement/excitement amongst the crew

I can’t tell if it would be angst or pure crack or some ungodly mix between the two

Listen. Listen. I have had an idea and I'm about to make it everyone's problem.

Ingo gets mechanized, like you said, but runs away from the Mechs because he is still mostly sane and still has a problem with recreational murder, even if the person getting murdered is Jonny, who deserves it.

He finds a planet that has recently had a complete overhaul of society, and during the revolution a lot of skilled workers got got due to sympathizing with the oppressors.

Many of those skilled workers worked with trains.

Anyway Ingo = Lyf, but instead of being a low level transport police officer he's the head of the station, he is SO pissed that Marius and company found him again. People freak out a bit less about the prisoners never aging because like. Ingo Also Does That, And We Love Ingo. However they do still freak out about the crime. That's a reasonable thing to freak out about.

a persona 5 retelling au with rei as the protagonist

Ingo gets yeeted with a radio that is magically connected to the future and more specifically to Johanna (dawn/Akari's mom). they have to work together to make sure Dawn/ Akari doesn't die. timey wimey bs happens

PLA pirate au (somehow this got mixed with dnd)

heavily inspired by JRWI: riptide. Pearl clan are pirates (but don't exactly know what pirates are). Diamond clan is Navy. Galaxy Clan is neutral. Rei is the protag and got isekai'd to the world of hisui and turned into a seal (selkie) by a crab (Arceus)

pokemon/Magnus archives crossover au

post mag-200 au where as the Fears are being spread out into the multiverse, they accidentally get snagged on Akari getting taken to hisui. Arceus notices and tries shaking them off, but that only results in separating Jon and Martin, with jon landing in hisui alongside Akari and Martin landing in Gear Station in modern day.

(also annabelle cane and oliver banks also came along landing in Cogita's house and Modern galar respectively)

Ingo becomes a mechanism after a zoroark attack thanks to Dr. Carmilla being nearby at the time. he goes on adventures with the mechanisms. plays the cello

when Link gets his arm cut off and replaced with raruu's, it's a bit ghostly

pla characters suddenly got Origins from the origins mod for minecraft. except for kamado. he's normal
