Discover The Jackbox Megapicker for Endless Fun

The Jackbox Megapicker due to release soon for the celebrated game franchise on Linux, Steam Deck, Mac, and Windows PC. Thanks to the ongoing creativity of Jackbox Games. The latest The Jackbox Party Pack 10 release is available for Steam and Humble Store. Over the past decade, the developer has had the pleasure of creating tons of titles and becoming a part of your lives. Having been there for your icebreaker moments, your laugh out loud sessions, and even those times you just needed to distract your weird uncle. Hence The Jackbox Megapicker announcement. With over 50 games in the collection, the developers heard from many of you that it can be a hassle to switch between packs to find the title you want. And also what some players have been saying on social media. Doing so in feedback surveys and even in handwritten notes: “It’s the only annoying thing about Jackbox at parties. Having a unified picker that recognizes purchases would be great.” “I think it’d be awesome if they had a single Jackbox launcher that all the Party Packs added into, so I don’t have to remember which pack has which title and go through the hassle of switching.”
The Jackbox Megapicker big question:
"How has Jackbox released seven party packs without a unified combo-pack launcher?" Well, the developer is listening. Introducing The Jackbox Megapicker. This free product is exclusive to Steam and lets you view your entire library, sort and filter your favorite titles, and quickly launch an evening of fun. No more flipping through different packs to find what you’re looking for. The Jackbox Megapicker will be released in July 2024, so mark your calendars. Stay tuned for more information on the official website, follow us on social media, or join our Reddit AMA on r/jackboxgames with the team around launch time. This new feature is a big change for Linux and Steam Deck. Due to make those nights even smoother and more fun. All due to the player feedback and support over the years. The Jackbox Party Pack 10 the latest release is available on Linux, Steam Deck, Mac, and Windows PC. Doing so via Steam and Humble Store. Priced at $34.99 USD / £29.49 / 34,99€.

MegaPick: Lucie Silvas, ‘E.G.O.’
Lucie Silvas’ new album, E.G.O., is here and we absolutely cannot get enough. The twelve-track album covers every aspect of love, through beautiful lyrics and Silvas’ signature vocals.
Been waiting for this day, working towards it, hoping I could make it happen, hoping I could find a way to get my music out there. I’m so grateful to have done that, and no matter what happens next, I know I did what I said I would do, kept going and never quit what I love. This album wouldn’t be this album without the absolutely incredible people that put their talent passion and love into it. I can’t thank you all enough. From Jon Green who produced it to every single person involved- you have made me the luckiest and most inspired person I could ever hope to be. I hope to show my gratitude but believing in the good of people and things and showing you the love and support you show me. “E.G.O.” Is out now. Thank you for listening. And here’s to people behind the creation of this record... Jon Green (Producer) Jeremy Ferguson (engineer and mixer ) John Osborne (producer : JFTR) Daniel Tashian (producer : My old habits) Reid Shippen (mixer) Greg Calbi (mastering) Jon Leshay (manager and the most amazing music partner in the world) To all my fellow creatives and dearest friends (u inspire the hell outta me) ... Fancy Hagood, Natalie Hemby, Elise Hayes, Jarrad K, Ruston Kelly, Jeremy Spillman, Keelan Donovan, Tenille Townes, Erin McCarley, Trent Dabbs, Gabe Simon, Jd McPherson, Liz Roze, Kate York, Aron Wright, Barry Dean, Steve Robson, Kristin Rogers, Derek Wells, Fred Eltringham, Ian Fitchuk, Ben Mark, Adam Box, Davide Rossi, Gavin Fitzjohn, Jeremy Fetzer, Sonya Jasinski. #ego

The album kicks off with the lead-single, “Kite,” which chronicles simultaneously having freedom and being in a relationship. Silvas wanted to capture that feeling within the music video, she tells PEOPLE, “As a song, it felt liberating, fun and exciting to write, and I wanted the video to reflect that... The man creates a woman who is going to be everything he needs her to be — to idolize him and also bend to his will and obey every move — and ultimately she becomes stronger than him and breaks away.”
Silvas continues, “He doesn’t realize that he can’t keep her spirit contained. On a larger scale, ‘Kite’ as a song talks about that very thing — being independent — and the partner you’re with is gonna find themselves in an impossible position if they want someone they have to control.” Watch the music video for yourself below.
youtube
“Kite” sets the tone for the album and how she approached the creation, “Conceptually, I wanted the video to reflect that the strings were off for this album. No one was controlling it behind the scenes, nothing was holding us back from saying everything we wanted to say the way we wanted to say it, and nothing was stopping us from having it sound the way we wanted it to, even if it didn’t fit into one genre.”
I really don’t know what to say about this. Mostly speechless. I’ve been visiting and working in New York since I was 19 years old and I never thought I’d get to see this. Thank you @spotify !! Hear “kite” on new music Friday now. It’s album release day !!! Aghhhhh 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 #ego #newmusicfriday #spotify

While it’s difficult to pick from such a diverse, yet beautifully cohesive, collection, our favorites on the LP have to be “Just For The Record” and “E.G.O.”
Silvas describes the title-track, “I guess [the song] is an observation about how the world works, and how I think I've worked sometimes, because I'll say I don't want something and then, all of the sudden, I'm looking for attention in some way. I think I'm just as guilty of that as the next person. Especially in the age of social media, we feel like, unless we're being seen, we're not visible, and I think that's very dangerous and scary... Don't love what you do because somebody else says you're great. There's an amazing quote -- somebody said to treat fame and success like the impostors that they are. And I think that's what fame is -- an impostor to creativity”
Thinking about it now.... it was my dog’s total lack of interest in my music that spurred me on. I don’t need you as a cheerleader Barley, you just relax on the couch. #ego #doggetajob #countdown

MegaPick: LANCO
LANCO released their debut album, Hallelujah Nights, this past week. The album features their breakthrough single, "Greatest Love Story," along with their current single, "Born to Love You," and title track, "Hallelujah Nights." LANCO is known for their unique sound and catchy lyrics.
A post shared by LANCO (@lancomusic) on Nov 27, 2017 at 12:22pm PST
The album takes on young love and small-town life with a fresh perspective. In an attempt to stay true to themselves, LANCO opted to avoid country clichés. While writing "Greatest Love Story," other songwriters told LANCO frontman, Brandon Lancaster, to change the word "car" to "truck." He decided not to take their advice.
In an interview with Rolling Stone, Lancaster explains, "Like, why does it have to be a truck? People drive cars, and most importantly, I drove a car. It's a weird mind frame to be in like 'We should say this because it would be more quote-unquote country.' I grew up in Smyrna, Tennessee, I have a fine idea of what country is, and you don't get to define it for me. I like my version just fine, and I'll stand by it." LANCO’s down-to-earth approach to country continues throughout the whole album.
youtube
“Born to Love You" kicks off the album and sets the scene. From red pine trees to white steeples sitting atop a church, the song beautifully outlines a small town made for romance. It's an upbeat tune that is sure to be an anthem amongst small-town youth.
youtube
"Hallelujah Nights," the album's title track, wraps the album up perfectly. The track is dripping with nostalgia and embodies the vibe of its lyric, "the best day of our life." When listening, you can't help but smile and look back on your own coming-of-age memories.

MegaPick: Thomas Rhett
Thomas Rhett’s newest album, Life Changes, came out today and offers a montage of pop beats and country lyrics that piece together to highlight the best of both genres. The 14-track album features collaborations with Marren Morris and Rhett Akins.
LIFE CHANGES is here! These 14 songs represent who I am today, I hope you can find yourself in each of them. [link in bio] #LifeChanges
A post shared by ThomasRhettAkins (@thomasrhettakins) on Sep 7, 2017 at 8:23pm PDT
The album title is astoundingly relevant to Thomas Rhett’s life. He and his wife, Lauren Akins, very well might take the crown for most changes in a year. They adopted their first daughter, Willa Gray, earlier this year, and then welcomed home their newest baby girl, Ada James, last month. Although these changes have had a large impact on his life, Rhett began writing for the project long before he even knew that these changes would happen. In an article with The Boot, Rhett says that he and his team began writing for this album before his second one even released, while he and Lauren were still in the adopting process.
In this weeks issue of @people - Lauren, Willa Gray, Ada James and I share a look into our lives as a family of 4. Check it out on people.com PC: @juliepaisleyphotography

Rhett’s duet with Marren Morris and lead single “Craving You” hit No. 1 on the charts before the album even released. In addition, Rhett released three more pre-release tracks from Life Changes including “Life Changes,” “Grave,” and “Sixteen.” Other gems from the album include:
“Marry Me” is a slow ballad that will break your heart, listening to the story of a man watching the girl he loves marry someone else. (“I’ll wear my black suit, black tie, hide out in the back / I’ll do a strong shot of whiskey straight out the flask / I’ll try to make it through without crying’ / So nobody sees / Yeah, she wanna get married / But she don’t wanna marry me”)
“Leave Right Now” incorporates heavy pop elements and flirty lyrics with a fancy beat. This is perhaps Rhett’s best dance anthem yet. (“Baby you and me can leave right now/ Ditch all your friends, the guy you came with / Get to know you where it ain’t so loud / You and me alone, some old moonlit road / When the two of us could disappear / Just say the word, we’ll get outta here / Baby you and me could leave right now / Meet me out back if you like how that sounds”)
“Smooth Like Summer” is a summer groove about being youthful and spontaneous. It is another track has a strong pop vibes accompanied by story-telling country lyrics. (“Smooth like the summer / Smooth like the summer / Go on and groove like a lover / With your backseat love / Tearin’ clothes off each other all night / Smooth like the summer / Smooth like summer”)
Inspired by his wife Lauren, “Sweetheart” thanks her for loving him and recognizes how lucky Rhett feels that she gave him her heart. (“Sweetheart, God could’ve never made two / Nobody quite like you / Oh, sweetheart, one kiss and I come unglued / You are the reason I fall to pieces / Cause you’re all that I adore / You’re the one my heart beats for / And I cant believe you gave your sweet heart to me”)
“Kiss Me Like a Stranger” is a slow-tempo, smooth, and romantic song, with affectionate lyrics. (“Kiss me like a stranger / Baby hold me like we’ve never met / Every touch a little danger like / Like you ain’t gotten used to me yet / Strike a match, light the fuse / You and I we could use some reckless behavior / So baby kiss me like a stranger”)
In an interview with The Boot, Rhett discusses the album, saying “There was a ton of discussion … about how do these songs get to co-exist on the same record. But … at the end of the day, it’s all me and all things I’ve listened to and been inspired by. I think that’s what makes it a cohesive Thomas Rhett album.”
Boston was incredible!! People have been here since 2 AM to celebrate life changes! Off to philly! See y'all there🙌🏼🍾 #LifeChangesBoston 📸 @joshgilligan

MegaPick: Luke Combs ‘This One's For You’
North Carolina native Luke Combs released his album earlier this month which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Country Albums chart and at No. 5 on the Billboard Top 200 Chart. This One’s For You features 12 tracks and is the perfect introduction for the burly country singer to the genre. Co-writing all 12 tracks, Combs pulled from personal experience to fill the project with honest emotions and real life stories.
His debut single, “Hurricane” which hit the top of the charts, compares an old love interest to a complete natural disaster, wrecking his heart:
"Then you roll in with your hair in the wind / Baby without warning / I was doin' alright but just your sight / Had my heart storming / The moon went hiding / Stars quit shining / Rain was dropping / Thunder 'n lighting / You wrecked my whole world when you came / And hit me like a hurricane / You hit me like a hurricane.”
youtube
"I just love writing songs and singing them," Combs told Rolling Stone Country earlier this year. "People seem to enjoy them, and that's all you can really ask for. I didn't get into it to try to be a celebrity or whatever.” The latest single off the project "When It Rains It Pours" takes a common cliche' and flips it around. Singing about how life has turned around for him since he and his former love broke up:
"Then I won a hundred bucks on a scratch off ticket / Bought two twelve packs and a tank of gas with it / She swore they were a waist of time, oh, but she was wrong / I was caller number 5 on a radio station, won a 4-day, 3-night, beach vacation / Deep sea, senorita, fishing down in Panama / And I ain't gotta see my ex future mother-in-law anymore / Oh lord, when it rains it pours.”
The entire album is filled with songs and stories that fans can relate to, making This One’s For You a strong debut offering for the rising star. Combs is currently on tour with Brantley Gilbert and Tyler Farr where he is performing songs off the new album and building out his fan base. For tour dates check out LukeCombs.com and grab This One’s For You on iTunes.

MegaPick: Tracy Lawrence, ‘Frozen In Time’
It’s that magical time of year when your favorite country artists release their renditions of Christmas songs. ‘90s country king, Tracy Lawrence, is among those artists released a new holiday album, Frozen In Time.
View this post on Instagram
A post shared by Tracy Lawrence (@therealtracylawrence) on Nov 1, 2018 at 7:17am PDT
The collection features four original tunes, in addition to Lawrence’s iconic voice on classics like “White Christmas,” “The Christmas Song,” and “Here Comes Santa Claus.”
The title track, “Frozen In Time,” kicks off the album and features a unique western swing sound for a Christmas tune. Penned by Lawrence and co-writer, Rick Huckaby, the single features plenty of festive steel guitar and bass. Lawrence describes memories from Christmases’ of the past that are thankfully, frozen in time forever.
youtube
Another stand out original track is “Cold Beer,” which instantly piques your interest as an odd title for a Holiday tune, but couldn’t be more spot on for the season: “God rest ye merry gentlemen, I’ll sit at this bar with my good friends and we’ll all toast Christmas cheer with cold beer.” The song features some lighthearted humor poking fun at having a cold brew to help deal with all the family and stress one encounters during the holiday season.

Every song on the 12-track album features a distinctly traditional country arrangement and sound, which is no surprise for the country-purism of Lawrence. All of the classics are laden with plenty of steel guitar and deep bass. A few songs even invoke a beautiful combination of jazz and country.
Lawrence’s signature vocals are perfect on these classic Christmas tunes, making Frozen In Time a perfect addition to your country Christmas collection. Get it everywhere here: http://smarturl.it/FrozenInTime
