Rancour on hand, Kaeya froze and slashed and the slime’s health bit by bit. Eventually, his player resorted to using his burst and circling the hydro entity instead

He heard a small chiming sound, and the muffled relief of his player reached his ears.

In turn, he felt his health replenish inhumanly fast, and the taste of perfect hashbrowns stayed on his tongue. Kaeya sighed in relief.

He didn’t have to get Jean to heal him again this time.

•look at attributes, 2125 atk on lvl 67? 68? her player no longer remembers

•was honestly surprised at the sudden change of pace. one day, she’s doing work, signing papers, doing paperwork, assisting Ningguang, etc.

•now she’s playing pirate with the kids, committing massacres on abyss order and enemy bodies

•watching ruin mechanisms turn to dust and stonehide lawachurls fall while the fatui skirmishers burn away, she never really think she’d be doing this.

•she’s quite grateful to the player

•though, if she’s just a character (a rare one at that), and her world is a game, is everything real?

•as a rational person who usually thinks through all her problems, everything seemed to fall apart

•is osial’s attack against Liyue Harbour nothing but a piece of plot, for fun?

•no matter, all she knows is that you’re definitely real

•she’ll get her answers from you

•but for now, she’ll protect your other characters as the DPS while Beidou rests, Lion’s Roar in hand, all for you

endless charged attacks landed their hit on Stormterror’s claw. looking up, Keqing saw the white bar under Stormterror’s health bar run to a close. Stormterror just landed with full shields though.. is that how much the player helped her develop?

Stormterror fell down, neck out in the open

Keqing’s stiletto and electro-lined charged attacks slashed the poisoned blood clot mercilessly. Stormterror roared in disbelief and took to the skies again. rinse and repeat.

in the end, Keqing stared at the trounce blossom. Tartaglia Childe in the Golden House was next to be beaten this week. Beidou has already taken the Borealis down.

in her hands were Dvalin’s Sighs and Plumes, a vial of Dream Solvent, and two billets. they looked and felt weird, and so she paid no attention to them, simply stashing them into her player’s inventory, resisting the smell of the perfectly delicious food stored nearby.

she always wondered how they’re always in the newly-cooked stage; hot, fresh, and always ready

one of my player’s perks, she guessed.

Bennett

•in all truth, bennett is grateful for the new adventure team

•and he actually helps

•each burst talent level up has him brimming with pyro energy, waiting to be slammed into the ground and to create another field of a lighter crimson to boost and heal his team

•would be the one to use all the newfound power to protect his dads, and to heal them whenever they’re even a little bit hurt

•absolutely loves being the battery of the team

•actually likes dragonspine

•bennett talked to albedo once, said alchemist asking what it was like to venture to what is hitherto unknown under the control of the player

•bennett replied with praise, how the player never let them die, always healing them and making sure they almost never get hit

•albedo just nodded along

•is confused on why sometimes, his weapon changes from his sacrificial sword, to a spare lion’s roar that the player leveled to 80

•as the only level 90 in the team aside from Beidou, bennett feels responsible for each mistake (since he sees himself as the one with the most levels, and so must protect those with a lower level)

•would push his energy recharge to the max

a chorus of agreements raised from the other three, fueling Bennett’s happiness as they walk into the freezing cold of the Elegaic Rime domain for Chongyun, Diona and Kaeya under the player’s control and boosted with the goulash’s warming buff

•mans completely amazed at all the beautiful scenery that the player brings him to for poses (as a player on ar 53 and shit artifacts, this is really what i do when i hit 0 resin; honing my craziness for photography)

•when he’s switched back out, he’s teleported into an alternate Mondstadt, back to life in the game

“where did the player bring you this time?” Chongyun’s head popped by Kaeya’s shoulder, holding a short stack of books Xingqiu said he wanted to read.

“The floating island. over Huaguang Stone Forest,” Kaeya sipped his tea carefully. “the sunset was beautiful.”

Chongyun chuckled. “wait until they bring you to Dragonspine. they’ve made me pose over pretty scenery.”

Kaeya laughs. “I’ll be waiting for that.”

Chongyun bid his goodbye and headed off to Lisa, who was marvelling over the Mappa Mare that the player gave her

What’s she doing in Starfell Lake? Rosaria gritted her teeth, and doing her best to ignore the pain resonating on her back and in her head, surfaced and instinctively swam to the statue that shined blue.

“Huh? Oh, you must be the new one!”

Rosaria tilted her head slightly to meet turquoise (squinted?) eyes beloning to someone with salmon-colored hair and odd horns on her head’s side. “New one? Huh, and who are you?”

The salmonette laughed, shaking her head slightly. “Oh, so rude! I’ll have you know that I am Yanfei, a lawyer of Liyue Harbour. I believe you’re Rosaria? Come on, we need to explain everything since you don’t seem so aware.” Yanfei said, walking away after pulling her law book out and sticking her head in said book.

“Oh and please stay away, I don’t want your cryo anywhere near me.”

Rosaria raised an eyebrow. ‘Aware?’

“So you’re telling me, that this is a “mirror dimension” of Teyvat.”

“Mhm”

“And that when we’re summoned here, we’re characters that the “Player” can raise, strengthen, and use against enemies.”

“Yep”

“And that when in rest, we’re teleported back to the original Teyvat.”

“That’s about it. Anyone who actively uses their vision knows now. You’re the last. I think there’s a new update soon, and a child vision user from inazuma will gain awareness.”

Rosaria laid back down against the rock that supported her weight. Yanfei leaned on a stray wooden plank.

“Harsh way to wake up, I guess.”

The two were in Minlin, Liyue, at the crevices and steep valleys beside Mt. Aocang. The silence folowing after the confirmations was awkward. Rosaria felt stronger and stronger, and suddenly information on how to hit the weak points deeper and much more efficiently, even ways on how to completely double her “skill” and “burst” damage.

Rosaria bit her lip, feeling multiple intense waves of cryo rush over her, freezing her to the very core. Yanfei looked up and raised an eyebrow knowing full well what happened.

“Seems the Player’s leveling your talents. Lucky she has extra Ballad books.”

Rosaria glanced at her companion. “What do you mean? You’re saying it as if it happens to others very often but not to you.”

Yanfei laughs wryly. “The Player needs tonnes of a few certain books. Gold, Prosperity, Ballad, Freedom, and Resistance. They don’t seem to need Diligence much.”

“The Gold is all used up for Zhongli, Xinyan and Xingqiu and they’re trying to max Klee’s Talents, so they’re concentrating on Freedom first, then Prosperity then the rest.”

“They are leveling me up still.” She smiled.

Rosaria shaped her lips in an ‘O’ and left the subject be.

“Lights out…”

Swinging her polearm, she ended the lawachurl with one last elemental burst. The cross-shaped spear enveloped the vicinity with frost, and pulsed with overwhelming power every other second.

The lawachurl fell and turned to dust; shiny orb-shaped hollow balls glowed on the ground. Picking one up, it immediately turned into an ominous mask.

Rosaria raised her eyebrow and proceeded to pick up the rest.

Yanfei floated beside her, along with Xingqiu and Bennett. Xingqiu simply read a book when he was off the field so no one really pain attention when he didn’t want to be disturbed.

Bennett munched happily on a plate of puppy paw hashbrowns and Yanfei showed Rosaria how to access the Player Inventory. Rosaria dumped the lawachurl loot in the Character Development stash then grabbed an apple on the way.

“So They’re about to log off now, what does anyone want to do?” Xingqiu asked, snapping his book closed and letting it fade away.

“Oh! They like to cook a lot, so maybe gather some ingredients?”

All four turned to the navy blue-ish haired girl peeking her head from her hiding spot. Bennett stared at her incredulously. “Were you hiding there the whole time they’re offline?? And why? You’re too near to me, something might have happenned to you!”

Xiangling giggled and scratched the back of her head. “I came along to match with Yanfei and have you all infused with pyro resonance. Also I drop some chili orbs so whenever any of you pick it up, more attack!”

Yanfei deadpanned and turned away to keep her head buried in the law book she kept with her. Xiangling apologized again. “So, they’re low on a lot of things, so if we want to finish before they log back in we better hurry!”

Diluc came out from behind the tall pillars. “And if we don’t want them to know then we better pin this place on the map and start foraging.”

“Okay then, so first off is fowl, meat and fish! Hey Diluc, mind calling Klee?” Xiangling started off.”

Tourettes

haha i dont have anyone except for zhongli (recently) so expect mistakes

got this as my first request but uhhh how do i include the request in the post itself help-

• idk, would probably find it cute

•I mean face it. tourettes are sometimes annoying when doing stuff but otherwise, just by itself, watching your tics are kinda cute for people who appreciate you

•ngl he would be a tad more overprotective on you and would probably be against the idea of you going out alone

•you? cooking? like, chopping food to add in the pot?

•wdym bby u won’t be allowed near anything sharp

•you got a pretty bad tic while chopping some carrots, resulting in you dropping the knife, diluc freaking out, and the knife dropping safely on the wooden floor, not hitting your feet

•the knife not hitting you did not calm him one bit I swear

•10/10 would be someone to get you to have adequate sleep just because he heard it can help with tics

•someone is making fun of your tics? go back to Dawn Winery and don’t mind asking about why his claymore went missing

-Venti

•stg he’d laugh or giggle before coming around to the process of absolutely adoring your tics

•mans wont even hide his laughing

•he’d probably play you a tune to help you calm down and to help you focus on something else

•he’ll still leech the wine out of the Angel’s Share tavern till it’s out or till Diluc kicks him out

•i headcannon him to be pretty close to Qiqi, so Qiqi could explain what tourettes is before she forgets so that xiao could have peace of mind that nothing major is wrong

•keeps you at least a room away from his mask and spear, or if you insist on seeing it, at least a foot away unless he’s holding said mask and spear.

•on cold nights, he accepts every tic as you shivering from the cold and he’ll slowly envelop you in his body heat

•maybe play you an occasional tune from his flute one that he’s heard millenia ago to save himself from karma

•someone mocks your tics? suddenly they’re no longer welcomed in Wangshu Inn

so i started playing sky cotl since aug 13. the same day i experienced eye of eden. the day after i hunted down oneshots for eye of eden. you know, the usual

Eden; the dark garden of dragons and corruption

Even opening the gates to Eden was a challenge for you. The wind pushed you back harshly throught the cracks and tiny openings of the door and it filled the room. Despite the abundance, you can’t seem to breathe.

You had to wait a few minutes waiting for some other sky children to help you open the gate, and right after entering the winds grew tenfold and smacked you back. However, you went back in, believing Eden to be paradise.

The gate closed behind you and immediately a sense of dread filled you. You shook in your cape, trying to wait for a group to host you; you gave up in the end and trekked the unforgiving lands alone.

Believing the winds to be nothing, you tried to fly. And to respond to your naivety the winds threw you off the edge.

You thanked the stars and the sky multiple times to have let you glide to a small crack in the side of the mountain and so then you climbed up.

For some reason, you didn’t learn your lesson. You tried to fly once more and was immediately hit by, instead of winds, a barrage of sharp rocks. You cried in pain and in the flash of black that invaded your vision you felt winged light leave you. The cold it protected you from attacked you.

It was such a shame you feared death too.

You hid behind a jab of stone with someone else; dressed in a light blue cloak, a small instrument on their back and long hair adorned their blank face. They were kind enough to rekindle your flames when theysaw you get hit by the storm of rocks twice in a row before landing. So you decided to stick with them. Unfortunately, you got impatient and ran off to try and get to the next large shelter only for you to be hit back to the edge; you raced back to the kind stranger and the generously rekindled you once more.

The rekindling happened more and more; you, seeing the kind stranger as someone to fall back to, ran to them whenever you were hit. Fall after fall, the they were always there to bring you back from near-death.

They accompanied you even through the Krill attacks, and showed you the way up, around jagged rocks, over fallen support beams, through large damp pipes, to the Eye of the Storm.

you paused. the ominous message terrified you.

You were greedy and you loved your winged lights- but you can’t just leave the stranger behind-!

You followed them through the tunnel, leaving the lit statues behind.

It hit you.

You didn’t know what to do.

They kept giving their light; you were too attached.

You believed that nothing could hurt you.

Eden made you want to escape, to soar with the birds and the mantas, and to play with the jellyfish.

You went through this, so rushed. You didn’t stop and appreciate a single thing.

You gave your light to the petrified statues of sky children who keeled over in their cycle, you were hit by the sharpest of meteors, and you rekindled the lost flames of your companion. Rinse and repeat.

Then you panicked.

You sent calls nonstop and you recieved nothing. You were alone.

The kind one who stayed with you, you found their statue and gave another light. Your last light.

You saw the red jagged meteor above you when you rushed over, you weren’t blind.

you were created nameless, faceless, voiceless, and seeing the death that loomed over you made you wish that you were created emotionless too. *

and as a last act, you gripped your friend’s hand tight, and let the unstoppable rock hit you one last time.

You keeled over, much like the statues that surrounded you and your friend. Yet you leaned in, ever the slightest bit, to your friend’s absent warmth.

Dying alone is a terrifying thing. *

You met them again in the midst of a sea of black with roots of stars decorating the endless plains. They led you over stairs made of constellations, to a candle, and you both sat down to talk.

“Is it your first run to Eden?”

The widening of your soulless eyes must have gave it away. So they just laughed, gave you ascended candles, and sent you off.

‘I’ll see you soon’

As soon as you landed on where you started, you cried. You no longer remember what happened on your run to Eden. All you knew was that you had to run again.

So naive to think you would be left in a pitch black plain to rest.
