Damn but there are a lot of familiars in the game now. The upcoming annual Night of the Nocturne event should put me over 700 of them (and finish out this photoset).

Also, I am side-eyeing whomever at FR thought beavers were a great base for familiars for a fish-themed event. Beavers are herbivores. Now, something like otters or muskrats, sure; they are both known to eat things like fish and shellfish. I would even accept the aptly-named fishers (though, in spite of the name, they don’t actually eat fish); at least they’re carnivores instead of herbivores.

profitability-wise, is it better to open chests or sell them? i'm not sure what to do with mine

As of right now, I think the best move is to sell the chests. The chests are 20g or so and the eggs are 220g, so if you open all the chests, bad RNG might push you to lose money. This could change if/when the value of chests falls in relation to eggs but I personally dislike relying on RNG and would rather have the certain profit from selling chests.

As for Baldwin items, I'm not sure. I personally think the Smokeswirl will be very popular (even now LAH is 75g) so I'm making some of those. The Folded Friend and Origami Steward LAHs are even higher so those are good bets too. The value of the two Flutterbuns also rose when the third Fiona Flutterbun was released, as well as the octopi familiars (Fairy Octopus and Melon Squirmscoot).

Baldwin items are generally pretty profitable later in the year but I'm not sure which ones are best. To determine that we'd need a lot of data we don't have.

January Dragon Share Day 4 - The Most Adorable

Yes I’m late in posting this, it’s day seven, let me catch up.

The standing of “Most Adorable” is tied between two dragons - Opisthoteuthis and Graneledone, neither of which don’t have lore yet because I haven’t figured out what to do with them.

I specifically sought out to get dragons I could snapper and permababy to match two familiars, and also use up my two scrolls of goat eyes!
