Discovered a meromictic lake in Northern Ontario this weekend while on the mushroom hunt 🍄. ... These lakes are wondrous and mysterious like nature 🌲herself, with its turquoise tropical shores and shimmering waves 🌊. ... There is no oxygen at the basin and the layers of water do not intermix allowing for the perpetuation of anything that sinks to its depths. ... Visit one of the best seasonal #meromicticlake at #penangnationalpark. The rainforest is probably the best in Peninsula Malaysia. It is a must to visit and the hiking trail is just fabulous.
