Puye was one of the ancestral villages of Santa Clara, San Ildefonso and Ohkay Owingeh Pueblos, occupied from about 900 AD to 1580 AD. The site was declared a National Historic Landmark in 1966. There are extensive ruins at the base of the cliffs and on top of the mesa, with outstanding examples of early Pueblo architecture and stunning panoramas of the Rio Grande valley. The sheer number of cliff dwellings at Puye, and how far they extend, is overwhelming, indicative of a large community.

What enigmatic connection could there be between ancient petroglyphs and dinosaur tracks at Serrote do Letreiro, Brazil? This captivating site where history and paleontology collide, offers a glimpse into a forgotten era of human culture intertwined with prehistoric giants.
Researchers unraveled the intertwined stories of ancient glyph makers and dinosaurs on a thrilling expedition in a quest for answers. A thorough examination of both the fossilized dinosaur footprints and their petroglyph companions revealed that they were intentionally placed adjacent to the fossilized tracks in many instances. They were also carved in an exceedingly careful manner, to make sure the fossils were preserved.
Research teams will continue to examine the significance of human artistry and prehistoric wonder, where rock carvings and dinosaur tracks help write the narrative of Brazil's ancient past.
