people who get all antiship about kirby are so fucking funny because one, he's a pink space blob, who even gives a shit? and two, he's only canonically a baby in one (1) media source for the entire franchise. he's not a baby in anything else. not in the games, not in the manga, not in the light novels.

anyway, i think metakirby is cute. and it's a classic rivals-to-lovers, goofy-cute x serious-mysterious ship dynamic. i'm going to execute my power of free will to make them humans and make them kiss and there's nothing you can do to stop me.

MetaKirby week day 3 - Sleepover

Saying this because I really wanna get this out of the way before going on rambles (if I ever get around to that on here). It's important because I want to deal with the worst first.

I ship Meta Knight and Kirby together. No, I do not imagine Kirby as a child and Meta Knight as an adult in the pairing. I imagine them as barely even being a year different in age. When I make stuff about Meta Knight and Kirby, they're both adults. Please keep that in mind as I make stuff. I'll probably still have notes on each one to notify that Kirby's an adult just in case. I don't want to have to deal with people calling me things I'm not for my difference in perspective.

Edit: Further clarity, the pairing is nearly entirely based on the games. The games are so vague that you can hardly gleam anything. I'm not including the anime, or really any other medium of Kirby stuff. Mainly because each seems to work on their own line of canonicity. The most I might do is reference it a bit. Frankly, I have so much crafting done on my idea of the Kirby universe on just the games, I'm not super interested in trying to put the other mediums into it as well.

I am, however, more than happy to explain my thoughts! I might make a post about it one way or another, but I'll just keep it simple for now in that the ship has led to a fascinating divergence of relationship dynamics compared to what I see in most fanworks! And to those willing to give my works a chance, I hope you enjoy them as much as I enjoy making them!
