🌱 - Do they have a green thumb or are they a plant killer?

Amy loves nature and grows herbs and some fruit in pots in her little apartment in central city

Metal is a plant killer but as their relationship grows he starts to respect plants more and stops killing them. He's never a gardener though but it's better than trying to turn everything into oil ocean

👗 - How comfortable would they be wearing a skirt or dress?

Amy is legit the definition of a comfortable dress wearer

Metal doesn't really like clothes too much, flimsy fabrics rip, tear and snag on their body so it's just more frustrating than anything. But if Amy manager to get on on him unharmed they'd leave it on till their jet sets it ablaze

🥰 - What pet names do their partner(s) use for them? How flustered do they get by them?

For how mushy and lovey dovey Amy is, she doesn't do let names a lot tbh I just can't picture it for some reason

Metal obviously doesn't talk but maybe he's stop pointing at her and start signing words that are to represent her- pink, rose, miss

Amy loves it when she notices metal stopping to admire something- the sky, a flower, a creature of some sort, the architecture or a guiding, different people interacting

It shows he's been listening to her and processing things she's said- it's nice, he doesn't run away

💀 - How do they feel about horror movies?

One of the few things metal will actually sit and watch- Amy likes of a tense scene becomes light-hearted when she heard the noise metal makes as he rolls his eyes or how frustrated he gets are stupid plot point or props. Bad horror movies, amazing horror movies- all bring out a more human characteristic in him

10. What’s that one thing that inspired you to make drawing your consistant hobby?

My friends actually erm it's technically two

My brilliant and talented friend @starucker inspired me a lot and gifted me lots of lovely really personal things and I wanted to do it in return

And then my friend @plz-let-me-nap said they'd do an inktober with me, gave me constructive criticism and lots of advice and motivation when I first started out

13. Show your favourite drawing from last year

This animaniacs one from 6 months ago!

I don't think it's my best character piece, but I like the colours, the shading of the light on his pants, the composition and the textures of the different brushes X

The song was so nostalgic and personal to me because I was OBSESSED with yakkos space/universe songs as a kid

Just a fun self indulgent piece I guess X not my best but the one I'd print if I had to print something from last year

9. How much time do you spend drawing on an average day?

Up until last September I used to draw an hour a day minimum, now I tend to draw one day a week. The amount of time I get in that day depends on what that week has been like, but it has definitely helped me create a more positive relationship with my art even though I miss doing it so much

16. Do you draw more today than you did in the past, or do you draw less?

I already kind of answered this now but less. BUT when I first started in the lockdown I used to spend 3/4 days a week where I would draw all day, and then the other days I had work or Uni lectures so I would draw around those things :) so obviously when the lockdown stopped I knew it would change and I'm mostly at peace with it

19. What is the most difficult thing for you to draw?

Humans. Human faces. Human proportion. HUMAN NOSES!!!!! I watched an interview when I was a kid with someone who worked on The Incredibles, and they talked about hoe Humana's are more challenging then all these fantasy creatures because we are humans so we know when a movement is wrong or recognise a mistake a lot easier...so my whole life I have avoided drawing them and I am struggling because of it now

21. Do you like to challenge yourself?

Yes!…. and no

I like to try new things out but I do it in small doses so I don’t beat myself up. Even doing the same thing every time is still progress so I just tip my toe into new things or challenges when I feel it’s time to push myself in some way or mix things up! It tends to be when I start getting bored with my usually process.

Recent challenges have been style and trying to draw people and non sonic things

25. Do you like to draw in silence or with music?

I have done both tbh but I prefer music. But it’s got to be 1-3 songs that just loop for the entire day so it’s not distracting but I can sing along and maybe use the vibes to help with the piece I’m working on. Irritating for those near me for sure aha

I used to link the songs quite a bit but I’m self conscious about my music taste because a lot of people have told me it’s shite ahaha

27. How many layers does a typical piece require?

Erm for me around 30…..

But like I have a little slick man sketch then a proper sketch then the outline and the shading layers and then every colour/shade I use I give it’s own layer. I’m very messy and it’s the only way I can do colouring without messing the whole piece up (even if my style is still messy with this technique lmao)

Oh me? I haven't done anything recently besides working but I do have a lot of pictures of my dog sleeping I can show you? You know she pushed my mother over today? She's so rude she's lucky she's a dog and I love her so much XXX sorry I got distracted talking about my dog again- Have you ever had a pet?
