Am 21. September durften wir mit rund 165 Autofit Partnern einen wunderbaren Tag auf der Freestyle-Schanzenanlage Jumpin mit Nachtessen im Steakhouse Bahnhof – Grindel 6 in Mettmenstetten verbringen. Im Rahmen einer spannenden Präsentation aller Neuigkeiten sowie Anpassungen rund um Autofit nahmen wir zu Beginn der Veranstaltung gleich zahlreiche Fragen der teilnehmenden Partner entgegen und hatten somit ausreichend Gesprächsstoff für den ganzen Nachmittag. Speziell hervorzuheben ist sicherlich das Serviceheft. Zur Verfügung stand uns für diesen rundum perfekt organisierten Tag auch die in Mettmenstetten ansässige Freestyle-Sprunganlage Jumpin mit ihren diversen Schanzen in allen Grössen. Die Eventteilnehmenden hatten dort ihren Spass mit verschiedenen Aktivitäten wie Nagelbank, Töggeli-Kasten, Büchsenwerfen, Bullriding etc. Als Überraschung trat mit Andreas Isoz dann ein Skiakrobat auf, der die Schweizer Farben sogar an den olympischen Spielen vertreten durfte. Er demonstrierte uns seine Fähigkeiten mit atemberaubenden Sprüngen über die grosse Schanze des Jumpin. Zurück im Grindel 6 wurden wir von den neu dekorierten Räumlichkeiten sowie einem sehr herzlichen Personal in Empfang genommen. Ohne lange Wartezeiten bekamen wir rasch den ersten Gang serviert. Paper Mache Scuplture — Furry Friends coffee tables

I made paper mache coffee tables sculpted like a dog and cat. And I named them Hulky and Siam. Below are the instructions I made — on what I call — the MOJO tables. The base of both paper mache coffee tables is the LACK side table.

IKEA Item Used:

IKEA LACK side table

Other materials:

Newspapers

Masking tape

Paste (Kleister)

Acrylic color

1. Crumple several newspapers and affix them with masking tape in the approximate future form.

2. Continue with all four legs.

3. Crumple more papersheets and put them in a plastic bag for the belly.

4. Place the plastic bag containing crumpled paper and also affix it with masking tape. Mix paste and apply it on newspaper sheets (several layers). Tear strips and affix it.

5. Repeat the procedure with crumpled paper and plastic bag to complete belly and neck. Also affix it with pasted paper strips.

6. Then form the head, later the paws.

7. And affix them.

8. Start modelling face, ears, snout and paws. Add at least 10 more layers to strengthen the table.

9. Apply the last layer using white paper as a base for painting. Then paint with acrylic colour.
