"Earth Song By Michael Jackson" Review By Faith Ferguson:

May I start out by saying that this song is a heart cry to God.

Listening to The Micheal Jackson Number Ones Cd, I came across, "The Earth Song." As I was listening to the lyrics, I was staring earing the song differently to as I did as a child. For most children even some adults would possible not hear it, but the song is about a struggle, whether it maybe within him at the time or the world that he acknowledges within a whole. If you look at the words in the song; it shows how he is almost like Job asking God why but struggling to understand why all the evil is going on in the world or able to wreak havoc or why humanity cannot see even why God won't in his opinion intervene but he lacks the acknowledge that humanity is the reason why God can't intervene for God can't help humanity if they won't let him help them. Satan is in control of this earth because of humanities fall and sin entering the world. Until sin is completely destroyed once and for all it will always exist and without Jesus Christ in our lives, we choose to live in this pain and suffering. It is not God's fault but simply our own. Humanity let satan take control, not God! Freedom and healing is the heart of God; that's why God sent his only son as a sacrifice for all of sin and so we would have the ability to live and not die because even though our hearts may decay and die… our souls don't; we either go to heaven or hell and that is our choice. God doesn't want pain or suffering, and it is not God's desire for anyone to go to hell. Hell was never created for humans and at the end of the day we choose whether we want to spend our eternity in heaven or hell. Hell is worse than anything you could ever imagine, and it is not a joke. You think you hate this world than you will hate hell even more. As i listened further into the song i noticed that out of all of the words he sings that you cannot quite make out; he says i need you! I don't know where Michael Jacksons soul is now but i do know that even in his confusion about pain and suffering, as like Job in the Bible, he acknowledged above all else that he needs Jesus Christ. We all do, and we all can't live without him.

Alot of people will miss this message when listening to the song due to the imagery placed to distract from the true meaning of the song (the imagery makes people believe it is about globe warming and about saving the planet, but it is not to do necessarily with our planet but his heart.). and his heart cry to understand God and God's heart for humanity. Michael Joseph Jackson (August 29, 1958 – June 25, 2009) was an American singer, songwriter, and dancer. Nine years later, the documentary Leaving Neverland, which detailed posthumous allegations of child sexual abuse, led to a media backlash against Jackson.
