Thinking about the parallel of Midas contacting Icarus to try and get them to take care of/protect themself and now Icarus contacting Midas to try and get them to take care of themself

THE ART GRIND IS BACK BABEEY

spoilers for Sherbs finale of Fable!! they all signed it.. every Sherb signed off their name during the final scene (well.. besides Epsilon. but we dont worry about that-). thats.. mmm. "all of my versions are at least a little aware now" king. what does 'a little' mean. they all signed it - but that doesnt help to determine it.

(look at their handwritings. theyre all different, but not by much. i care so much.) and Midas. gosh i hold them so much. theyre so young. they *sound* so young. and they were pulled into this role, into this mess. they lost their brother, their life. way too young. they lost everything. they know how that feels. and they made so much mess, they hurt themself, trying to let Icarus have a life they never were able to have. because lets be honest, young Icarus would absolutely not be a great Quixis. Midas didnt want Icarus to lose themself. thats why they never let it. because they lost themself, lost their world and they know what that feels like. everything Midas did was to let Icarus have something they didnt get to have. and gosh theyre so young. theyre young but theyre still so kind, considerate, they still know how to care and be kind to others. if Midas was taken when they were too young. im assuming they werent an adult yet. and, they sound like it. so. im assuming theyre 16 at most. and.. if they aged as Quixis, they wouldve been.. around 12 when they first came to the worldport, took the role of Quixis, lost their brother, their world. if they havent aged while being Quixis thats.. another thing to unpack. so much was taken away from them... hell, they sacrificed not only themselves but others too - all the worlds - to let Icarus have a life. and they did have one. they got to see the end of their story. and after all of it. Icarus can be happy. happy, because they can fix everything. finally do something right. they are gone from their world, no one can remember them and theyre not stuck in the Worldport but it doesnt really matter. they were happy, they looked happy that theyre able to fix it. and even happier knowing that they can go back eventually. and all the other Sherbs. realizing their eyes are back to normal. theyre back to normal. all of them being so happy. all of them get to be happy.

Quixis in general headcanons.

When Icarixis looked into Krit’s world they saw Nel, Solaris, Caspian, Raylan, and Percy (I think that’s Mer SMP’s version of Aax?) for the first time and missed everyone in their universe

When Midas got to be Quixis, they had little to no introduction to what Quixis was. They promised themself that the next Quixis would be a full introduction. (They did fulfill that request.)

Midas teaches every new Quixis how to be Quixis even if the previous Quixis is there to help.

Midas began to heal and when they finished healing from their injuries(?) their eyes were gray (with a very faint rainbow in them). Also Midas paints their nails with all the colors of their trench coat/the sherbs (that we know.)

Icarus has a plushie of Charles. They might hate it but it reminds them of home. (Midas saw Icarus sitting cris cross staring down the Charles and wacked it into Charles for a minute. (Icarus panicked and wacked it back into Charles after he was turned back.))

Each of the sherbs have a comfort object when they become Quixis. (The ones who have flowers those flowers never die.)

Icarus - Charles stuffed animal

Midas - Lilly of the Valley

Ash - a feather each from their loved ones

Cedar - potion bottle with flower

Krit - A bracelet each from someone they love

thinking about midas' like. awe for the allay they spawn. the little "oo!" and then the excited "hi buddy :D" and then the wondering if they can swim, the letting the allay try to lead the way, the naming, the little laughs they give when lily messes with them. they just seem . happy.

I don't know if this has been answered at all, but is having rainbow in an aura indicative of being a sherbert version, or was it because the worlds were messed up because of Midas?

The rainbow aura is a sign of being the next Quixis, it comes with the bleeding eye! I talked about this in the Quixis tell-all, but so much time as passed with Midas as Quixis that all of the Sherberts you know of ended up with bleeding eyes and somewhat rainbow auras!

I will also add to this post: the aura of the worldport is rainbow, and that was what Midas’s aura was, as well as Icarixis now!

Midas compaires everything to things in other worlds, because those other worlds are all they know

They call us chat, because that’s what Rina calls us,

They say they know what not to do when making a world because they wouldn’t want it to be like Ripley’s,

They compare the first world they made to Sherbert’s,

They say that their world could be anything and then use Cedar and Helix’s worlds as examples,

Even when they were given the chance to make their world however they wanted, the ability to create their universe from scratch, all they did was make a mini worldport, because at the end of the day, that’s all they really know

Those worlds are all they’ve known for an infinite amount of time, the time they spent in their actual world minuscule compared to their time in the world port watching the others

I'm having so many thoughts about the finale specifically Quixis as a whole so Uh

Spoilers for the finale of fable sherbs pov

I'm thinking about these things a lot now but like I really want to know now who was the Quixis before Midas? Who were the Quixixes (Quixi?) before Midas? Who was the very first Quixis? why does the title of Quixis exist like who decided like lorewise thats the name and WHY?!

And against the judgement of my friend who's objectively correct I will not put any of this as questions in the qna because haha ✨️No✨️
