Blake dreams of a carousel. 

Animals dance around her with painted wings and fantastic golden saddles. She stands among them – watching them go by. Such an elegant contraption decorated with jewels and lights. A skin of paint meant to disguise a skeletal contraption of iron poles and chain-work shackles. It creaks and groans as the gears twist and turn, moving it round and round and round. It doesn't sleep. It never stops. It just keeps turning, and turning, and turning, playing the same lively tune as animals leap and pounce over and under, over and under, over and under.

Blake’s looking up through the windshield, unafraid and amazed. Her lips are parted in a silent gasp as her hands clasp the edge of the seat between her thighs. Rainbow lights coat her dark skin, catching in each ray of cosmic light inside the golden ring around her eyes as they roll upward like a film. Her gasp turns to a smile, eyes widening as she catches the moon peak every so often between skyscrapers, reaching further, to see. She wants to see everything, so she's soaking it in with childlike wonder. 

This was Blake. Yang was seeing Blake. 

She was the most beautiful thing Yang had ever seen.

The most anticipated chapter of the year is finally here! Hope y'all are hungry. As my birthday gift to y'all, here's the biggest chapter Midnight Menagerie has seen to date at a whopping 26 thousand words! I've been hyping this chapter up for MONTHS and I'm so excited to finally release it into the wild!!

Be mindful of the content warnings if vomiting is something you aren't comfortable with! As the title would suggest, everyone's hungover as FUCK. Enjoy a dramatic retelling of a wild weekend I had during the summer of 2017 when I was in college <33

I want to take a moment to really just say thanks as a whole for reading, supporting, and enjoying my work.
