mieczyslxw:
[can we try again]
“That’s–” he shakes his head, a shallow breath passing his lips. “Remind me again how that’s even your business?”
“Because is not healthy, Stiles,” Peter said with exasperation crossing his arms over his chest. “You’re a smart kid, you can do better.”

Scott frowned at his best friend, shaking his head. This wasn't the way that things worked anymore. He and Stiles worked together, more than ever now. Did Stiles really think that Scott was going to leave him behind to go to a party without him? Scott snorted at the suggestion of his, crossing his arms over his chest.
"Yeah, it's a really tough choice for me here." Scott scoffed, voice dripping with sarcasm. "Go to a Halloween party by myself where I can't get drunk without the only person I'm even interested in spending more time with, or flake out and have a nice evening alone with that very same person." He moved closer to the other male, gripping his shoulder firmly as he searched those warm, whiskey eyes for anything he should be concerned about. "What's going on with you, Stiles? Is everything okay?"

His words stunned the banshee into momentary silence - his tone had been neutral, but what he’d said had been so unlike him. It’s not all about you. Lydia blanched, visibly taken aback as she regarded him where she stood a couple feet away, hesitating in her heels. “I - I never said that it was,” she breathed.
Seemingly regaining some footing, she narrowed her eyes, giving her head a little shake as she looked over his slumped position. He was exhausted, he was hurt - and that was because of her. She had seen what he had done, and it had been to keep her safe. She couldn’t let him do that again.
“I just - ,” her hands fisted by her sides as she floundered again, mouth opening and shutting in a way which resembled his own hesitation at times, “I’m asking you to be careful, and to think about yourself for once.” Her hands fell as she turned her face away from him, eyes on the dark asphalt. “You will - you’ll get yourself killed if you don’t stop what you’re doing, Stiles. You need to keep yourself safe first, and then think about everyone else. Okay?”

@mieczyslxw liked for a starter ❤︎

“Stiles! Stiles!” She sighed as she was trying to get his attention. “I get it,” she didn’t, “but can we stop talking about Star Wars? Maybe for like an hour or so? We wanted to get lunch.” They were already on their way but then something got him distracted and he just went into rambling. She tried to be patient though, but she was for sure getting very hungry. “If I don’t get something to eat soon, I swear I’m gonna bite you!”

@mieczyslxw // ‘ come here ’
salty tears fall from his eyes quicker than he’s able to wipe them away. he couldn’t think of anywhere else to go and so here he was, standing on stiles’ doorstep blubbering like a child. his breath catches in his throat and one hand moves to press against his chest as he struggles to breathe. he considers turning away, pretending he never even knocked, but just as he was about to turn the door opened. before johnny could even get a word out, stiles’ arms were pulling him inside. the door swinging shut behind them as the other pulls him closer, wrapping his arms around him. the tears slide down his face freely now, his own arms moving around stiles’ waist. “ i’m -- i’m sorry. i shouldn’t have bothered you. ” words whispered into stiles’ shoulder, though johnny makes no move to pull away.

Scott and Stiles had disagreed or argued in the past. Of course that had happened, every friendship had moments like that after all. But he had truly thought the other’d be happy to see him. So the tone of his voice, the words, even the look in his eyes had come as a total surprise. It hadn’t even been the raising of Stiles’ voice that hurt, it had been that last sentence.
I don’t need you here.
Taking a slow step back, Scott tried to make sense of this. But how could he? There was no reason for them to fight, unless Scott had messed something up without realising it, but as far as he knew he hadn’t done anything to earn such words. “W-... okay, ... point made.” He muttered, his eyes briefly lingering on Stiles before he turned around. “I guess I’ll leave you alone then ...” A million thoughts went through his mind, things to say like ‘I’ll talk to you later’ and ‘I’m sorry’, even if he didn’t know if he had to be sorry. But he didn’t say anything else and just left the place, his gaze fixed on the ground, feeling as if his world was collapsing around him.

@mieczyslxw;; CONT.
this certainly was not how theo had imagined seeing his lover again. he’d gotten used to it by now -- the secrets, how little time they had together, the disappointment setting in whenever stiles was suddenly called in for a mission again. theo had never said anything. but this was getting to him. stiles was pretty much the only person he had in his life, and he felt lost and lonely whenever the human wasn’t there. and worried. stiles was only human, he could break. no supernatural healing powers, no extraordinary strength. stiles had changed, but he was vulnerable, and theo sometimes still saw the lanky, clumsy teenager in him that had almost gotten himself killed countless times. in that point, he hadn’t changed much, actually.
the chimera had already expected something was wrong, when stiles was not home at the promised time. theo’d already prepared dinner for them, expecting stiles to walk in through the front door any moment. but he didn’t. and there was no way for theo to contact him. so he just sat, and waited, feeling so helpless. he’d never imagined himself to someday end up like this. being so deeply in love with someone, wanting nothing but a normal date night for the two of them. but like with so many things in theo’s life, he didn’t get what he wanted.
after what seemed like hours, he’d finally received the call. without thinking twice, he’d been on his way to see stiles, and now we was there, kneeling on the floor, holding his bleeding lover in his arms. it hurt more than he would’ve ever expected. “i’m right here, everything’s gonna be okay...” he whispered, gently brushing a strand of hair out of stiles’ face. he steadied stiles’ head with his hand, and without anyone around them noticing he drew some of the human’s pain.
his next words, though, made theo tear up. he wanted nothing more than to say ‘yes’, but it wasn’t this easy. “you’re a dumbass, stilinski.” he chuckled softly, a silent tear running down his face. “you can’t think straight right now.”

@mieczyslxw // plotted. // chris.
enough time had passed since the ‘ incident ’ that he felt it was time to start trying to ease them both back in to some sort of normalcy. it would be difficult and it would take work for the both of them, but the bond between him and stiles was just too deep for this to break them apart forever. he would not allow stiles to feel guilt for what had happened any longer. he did not blame stiles and he needed to ensure he knew that.
now that he was practically at full health, the best way for them to get back into their routine was to start their training sessions back up. the hunter knew that stiles would be reluctant, but he insisted until stiles gave in. they both knew his training was the healthiest outlet for him, and that was something that they both needed right now. so here they were, back in the training room.
“ come on stiles, don’t go soft on me. ” both brows are raised in the younger’s direction, hands curled into fists guarding his face, bouncing on his toes. “ remember what i taught you. never lower your guard, never turn your back. ” the instructions came after he’d managed to sweep stile’s feet from beneath him whilst he’d looked elsewhere for less than a second.

“can you imagine how scott would react if i just stood by and let you get hurt?” parker valued his friendship with scott far too much to not stand in the way if something was threatening his best friend. he had a healing factor. he technically wasn’t even alive, even though he is smarting from the damage. “i was already dead to begin with, stiles. you would be if i hadn’t stepped in.”

@mieczyslxw LIKED FOR A STARTER.
“i guess it was pretty smart of your pack to send you here for negotiations. werecats, especially lions, are not very into wolves.” that was nicely put. usually they in no way, shape or form wanted to be associated with the canines. marek didn’t share this mentality, but then again, he was pretty open-minded and not a born werelion, so that helped. however, this was the first time someone from a werewolf pack came along to speak to the lions and ask for their help. marek had no idea the human knew his brother, who he had not seen in years. “anyway...” the lion leaned back, “what exactly do you need our help with?”

“You’ve got no one to lie to here, Stiles.” Peter leaned forward to keep his eyes locked on the human. “No need to lie anymore. A bit of a moot point anyway when you’re dealing with someone who can hear the lie on you.”

Scott chuckled when Stiles jumped. His joy at his friend’s surprise was short lived and quickly replaced with fear of his own as Stiles slipped and threatened to get hurt. He caught the other male in his arms, a relieved smile curling his lips once his best friend was safe.
“You were in here.” He replied with a simple shrug of his shoulders as though that should be a good enough explanation. It explained why he went out into the woods in the middle of the night. And why he so often found himself in the back of a police cruiser. And in fast food restaurants. Why not now? But somehow, Stiles’ expression didn’t allow for that to be sufficient.
“I waited in your room for a little while, but then you didn’t come out. I figured you wouldn’t mind if I rinsed off with you. It’s not like it’s something I haven’t seen.” He explained a little further. “Too much?”

jealous/possessive continued | @mieczyslxw

Stiles is right, it isn’t like her — the way she’s acting is immature and unfounded and it’s embarrassing. But Lydia can’t help it.
The banshee has never really struggled with pretending or keeping her emotions at bay, she’d done it for years when it came to masking her intelligence or keeping her distress hidden from her parents — yet somehow, she can’t seem to keep anything secret from him anymore. And there’s no logic in it either, it’s ridiculous — she isn’t this childish, jealous person, and why should she even care who he’s seeing?
But she does care, she cares so much that she colour rushes to her cheeks as he calls her out, and she stands there, floundering, blinking as she visibly struggles to find words.
Lydia doesn’t want to say anything; she wants to roll her eyes and scoff, push her way passed him and stomp out of his room, muttering about how ridiculous it is that he has dared to presume that she is jealous? But she can’t bring herself to do that — lying to him never seems to work. He can always see through it.
Her jaw shifts one way and the other, her head ducking and raising a few times, her eyes running the length of his ceiling as though hoping the stretch of gray paint will give her inspiration as to what to say to him. “You’re right,” she breathes eventually, “I’m sorry.”
“It’s just — Scott said something about them, and it didn’t sound good, okay? It sounded like there was something this ‘Alex’ wasn’t telling you, so I was worried, alright? Maybe it’s none of my business,” she averts her eyes again, fidgeting with her thumb in her jeans pocket, “Actually yeah, it is none of my business.” She lets out a breath some way between a laugh and a huff, tucking baby hairs behind her ear. “So I won’t bring them up again, I won’t ask any questions — nor will I go between you and Scott to try and figure out what’s going on to keep you safe. I’ll trust him to be honest with you.” She bites her lip. “It’s none of my business who you do or don’t see, just — as long as you’re happy and not in any sort of danger then — yeah.” She swallows, pouting her lips as she glances around his room uneasily. “I’ll leave you to it.”
Lydia has said too much and she knows it. Apparently his habit of rambling is somehow contagious for her when she’s around him, or maybe it’s just the effect he has on her. Lydia isn’t used to feeling nervous around anybody - but of course Stiles is the exception.

Derek should’ve know this was bound happen. When was he ever truly happy and relaxed? The answer was years ago. Before the fire and Kate had ruined it all for him. Tragedy just seemed to follow him wherever he went. Years had passed and Derek had finally reached a place where he was content and forgiving. Letting go of all the anger inside of him, forgiving, and finally accepting, that the fire was not his fault had happened.
Losing contact with some of the McCall pack was okay. They had all grown up and left for school but they were always back home and catching up. Losing Stiles all together had been the hardest part. Getting Stiles back in his life? That had been the second chance he didn’t know he wanted until Stiles had stuck around. It wasn’t easy for them. They were both stubborn and weren’t afraid to put each other in their place if needed be. Perhaps that’s why Derek felt so comfortable around Stiles. He had been the missing piece of the puzzle that finally completed it al.
Opening up to Stiles was easier for him. He wasn’t afraid to just be himself with Stiles. That’s why when the words slipped out of his mouth, Derek didn’t really care. For the first time since he could remember he felt happy. He felt at home and it was all because of Stiles. The silence that followed afterwards? That had been the warning sign. It felt like he had been kicked in the gut.
He could never catch a break.
Derek pushes his hand away from Stiles’ grip, only wanting to get out before the room swallowed him whole but he didn’t move. He could feel the pain and anxiety running through Stiles. If he didn’t know why Stiles’ heart was beating so fast, he would’ve been worried. The door is so close, where he can easily bolt but his feet are planted to the ground.
He turns around slowly, looking back at Stiles with a pained expression. One that he can’t hide.
‘‘Don’t what? Be honest with you? That’s fucking hilarious considering that’s exactly what we do, Stiles. Just... Forget it, alright? I shouldn’t have said anything.’‘
