The MiG-29, NATO Reporting Name "Fulcrum", was an air-superiority fighter adopted by the Soviet Air Force in 1983. It was developed alongside the Su-27 as a direct counter to the US F-15 and F-16 Fighters. Despite its original purpose, the MiG-29 has more recently been increasingly deployed in a ground support role.

Saw the SU-27 today, It's huge. HUGE. That's it parked next to the Mig-29. Mig-29 is about F-16 size. I think the 27 is even bigger than the F-15. He's a big boy.
They didn't have a placard for it yet, it only just went on display. It didn't have markings on it, I don't know where it came from. I can tell you this much, the stencils were all in English.
