Between 1972-73 Mikael Rickfors replaced Allan Clarke as the lead singer of The Holiies. In the 1980s he had a successful solo career in his native Sweden. Below is the original 1983 version of Turn To Me that was released in Sweden and Germany, it was picked up by Island records and given a punchy remix by Robert Palmer at Compass Point, this was released across Europe, Canada , South Africa, Australia and New Zealand as the b-side to Blue Fun the following year

På sin nya singel tar sångerskan, låtskrivaren och kompositören Annika Fehling oss med tillbaka. "Jag rensade på vinden för ett tag sen, och ur en låda trillade ett fotografi på mig som barn när jag kramade min nalle. Jag slogs av hur viktig nallen var för mig då,  och hur viktig denna första relation, som de flesta har varit med om, har påverkat mig. Kanske kan också fler människor känna igen sig i denna upplevelse? Ur detta kom en sång - Nallen!", säger Annika Fehling. Annika Fehling är en gotländsk turnerande singer/songwriter, sångerska och kompositör. Hon har spelat på otaliga scener och festivaler runt om i världen. Till dags dato har hon utkommit med 14 CD-album, medverkat i Mello, och utsågs 2019 till Region Gotlands Kulturpristagare. Annika driver den mycket uppskattade Visbyfestivalen som i år fyllde 17 år. Hon driver också Club Acoustic och Musik&Poesifesten, liksom Gotland International Songwriters Retreat och kurser.  Hennes musik finns på Spotify både solo och med Annika Fehling Trio -AFT. Hon spelar även i trion GLIMRA. Annika Fehling har delat scen med artister som: José Gonzales, Monica Zetterlund, Jill Johnsson,  Staffan Hellstrand, David Olney (USA) , Tom Kimmel (USA), Mikael Rickfors, Marie Bergman, Jesse Winchester (USA), Kevin Welch (USA). The Turn by Live present how a group can continue without a frontman by replacing him. This remains a dicey proposition, but I'm surprised a multitude of the bands did this, especially those that were known for their singers. I mean, The Hollies did this in the 70's with Romany, where Mikael Rickfors stepped in for Allan Clarke, which somehow brought the group at closest to the period. Mind you, The Hollies' opus through the decade was a lengthy chase for the popular sounds of the era, yet Romany feels like a platter of a collective that found out the recipe for the 70's. I think Mr. Rickfors gave them an outside perspective they needed at that point for them to locate their own ways of travelling through the soundscape of the time.
