For this project I animated all the vehicles in Maya using Martin Gunnarsson's great rig. There were some pretty strict timings to follow, and it was tricky to get the car to look convincing with the short fast shots.
I also did all the particle effects, chuck and small bits coming off the cars as they moved in the scene. Also I created a procedural dust shader that was comped over the top of each of the cars.
Completed using 3dsmax, then cached and rendered in Maya.
