i really like Ukemochi and Miketsu designs. probably cuz i really do like kitsune and foxes in general. also their weapons are really cool too! idk what to call their bigger forms but i like that they basically become warriors

Tsukuyomi Awareness of Seimei's Half-Spirit Heritage

So if Tsukuyomi was one forbade humans and spirits from marrying and Seimei is a product of that type of marriage why doesn't he/she out Seimei's secret to the masses?

It also raise many other questions related to Kuzunoha and the fact that she is a descendent of an Inari Fox (though was actually an Inari Fox in the orginal myths/folklore.) And how does Miketsu come in to any of this if she allowed an Inari Fox/Inari Fox descendent to marry a human? Wouldn't Tsukuyomi punished her and Kuzunoha for that? If Kuzunoha ancestor was an Inari Fox why is she not one? I am so confused because I do not know what is or isn't about Kuzunoha in Netease Onmyoji.😕

Yes it is just ashame that this game has been out for several years and no signs of Kuzunoha as well as Seimei's father Abe no Masuki/Abe no Yasuna. Also, many people are unaware of this, but Seimei in the orginal mythology and folklore was both a demigod and a hanyo because his mother was a Inari Fox messenger who served Miketsu (also known as Ukanomitama) and was enshrined at Shinoda Shrine in Osaka, Japan. Yet the Takamagahara Arc treats him as unimportant.

As for Doman, I can't stand the way the writers treated him as an unimportant characters when varies of other works feature Seimei and him as rivals.

Enmusubi wants Susanoo to join their club, which already includes her, Miketsu and Suzuhikohime. Their job is to make people's lives prosperous, bless them, and help people love each other.

Some late night, meandering thoughts, but humor me for a moment:

Izanagi said the ending to the Takamagahara arc has played out numerous times, and that Susabi has already visited many worlds in his search for the one where no one is sacrificed.

Obviously, that means Susabi has witnessed that ending many, many times--reflecting Susanoo's own journey to find the scenario which would save humanity a millennia ago--but recall Susabi's words that he would remain with Susanoo until the end. Now think of it in the full context of witnessing this same end over and over. Even when Susabi knows that a particular world and timeline would end the way it has thousands of times before , he remains steadfast with open eyes as witness, refusing to turn away (mirroring what he told Miketsu when they were seeing the Execution Ground in the past during the Final Advent event). He will remain with Susanoo until the literal end. Every. Single. Time. No matter the despair, pain, or weariness.

Tangentially (and less shippy goggles lol), while Amaterasu and Susanoo were both greatly influenced by Izanagi to shape them into compassionate beings, Susabi's contact with Izanagi is almost nil. His initial questioning about the immutability of destiny was already there at his birth, though almost immediately suppressed, but then brought out again by Susanoo's beliefs (as formed under Izanagi's guidance and the kindness of humans). I have to wonder if Izanagi delayed Susabi's birth intentionally... or even, if we really want to get deep into theorycrafting about this, Susabi delayed his own birth as the one who oversees reincarnation, as part of his search for the world where no one is sacrificed. (Who came first, Smolsabi or Susabi?!)

Even more an aside to that, I like to think Susabi does meet Izanagi again in Yomi-no-Kuni, as that is where the Torrents of Destiny flows. They might have a more personal talk; Izanagi absolutely would tease him more mercilessly than Susanoo would. and give ssb the shovel talk cause it's obvious ssn is izanagi's favorite

All of this to say is that Susabi has one hell of an iron will. Not that any of the Divine Children are less driven, but of the three, he has been an unyielding pillar, only losing himself during his orokana ningen period. (Which I like to imagine him having a lot of inner conflict over, as Susanoo greatly loves humans, and a betrayed Susabi questions why Susanoo died for such ungrateful beings. But that's another take for another day.)

(wild tangent but since we're already here, i want to know about that first time amaterasu went to sleep and had to be awakened by suzuhikohime in her old incarnation, as ssn said she woke up as a different person. at first i thought this was when she stripped herself of her sins, but her event showed that happened when she banished izanami, and i feel like ssn wasn't born yet? timeline seems fuzzy here)

... Anyhoooooooo did you know I didn't like Susabi at first and had no idea what his appeal was and why he was popular? Now I'm lying here losing sleep thinking about this deity with terrible fashion and ridiculous hair.

"The head shrine is said to have been established in the Daido period (800-8007 AD) at the beginning of the Heian period (794-1185), and celebrated its 1,200th anniversary in the year 2007. However, in 1858, the entire village of Jodoji was destroyed by fire, including old documents, and the exact history of the shrine is not known.

However, in the "Shosha Nemoto Ki," it is written that on December 26, Engi 5 (905), a ceremony was held under the hall at Kaimine, Atago County, Yamashiro Province.

The later text states, "On the 26th day of the 12th month of the 5th year of Engi (105), the shrine will enshrine and enshrine 2,132 deities at the Kagionsaijo place in Kaimine, Atago County, Yamashiro Province.

Even after the eight temples were moved to Yoshida Kaguraoka (present-day Yoshida Shrine Omotomiya) in the 16th year of Bunmei Era (1618), it is believed that the eight deities of the eight temples continued to be enshrined there as they had been since the Heian Era (794-1185).

Today, the shrine is widely revered as the guardian of the Jodoji temple area and Jishoji temple."

CHAPTER 30 CHECK POINT!!!!

Esta vez tengo un montón de cosas que comentar.

Empezando por la familia de Haru, pensaba estratégicamente evadir dibujarlos (uno de ellos es un furry NECESITO aprender a hacer furries primero) hasta que me di cuenta de que como todoes, ellos también son capaces de tener apariencias diferentes.

Solía tener este yorskshire, la llamé Mikasa porque en ese entonces era super fan de Shingeki y Mikasa era mi favorita, cuando tuvo crías pensé en nombrarlas Eren y Armin para completar EMA— nunca pasó.

Como sea, me hice muy emocionalmente dependiente de ella y su familia entera, su familia era mi familia era como una hermana, y uno de sus charm points era que tenía el flequillo en toda la cara, solo se le podían ver los ojos cuando se le cortaba el pelo y nomás duraba hasta que le volvía a crecer.

Alguna vez intenté hacer ocs basados en mis perros, jamás pude, pero algo que si puedo hacer es referenciarlos.

Aunque ya sabía que se estaba haciendo vieja y se iba a ir tarde o temprano, aún me dolió oír que se fue. No tengo a nadie a quien dedicarle este proyecto, más que a mis mascotas, pero ya les demuestro lo mucho que les amo sin necesidad de dedicar nada.

Lo mismo pasa con Urami, su apariencia de preferencia siempre fue un gato negro, (por tema de mala suerte) pero decidí referenciar a mis gatos ya que cambié la apariencia de la Hoshiguma del pasado para imitar a mi mascota.

Siempre imaginé que si Urami fuera mi OC de Onmyoji, sería como SP Miketsu.

This time I have a lot of things to say.

Starting with Haru's family, I was strategically planning to avoid drawing them (one of them is a furry I NEED to learn how to make furries first) until I realised that like everyone else, they are also capable of having different appearances.

I used to have this yorskshire, I named her Mikasa because at the time I was a super fan of Shingeki and Mikasa was my favourite, when she had pups I thought about naming them Eren and Armin to complete EMA— never happened.

Anyway, I became very emotionally dependent on her and her whole family, her family was my family, she was like a sister, and one of her charm points was that she had fringes all over her face, you could only see her eyes when her hair was cut and it only lasted until it grew back.

I once tried to make ocs based on my dogs, I never could, but one thing I can do is to reference them.

Even though I knew she was getting old and was going to go sooner or later, it still hurt to hear she was gone. I have no one to dedicate this project to but my pets, and I already show them how much I love them without having to dedicate anything.

The same goes for Urami, her preferred appearance was always a black cat, (for bad luck reasons) but I decided to reference my cats since I changed the appearance of the Hoshiguma from the past to imitate my pet.

I always imagined that if Urami was my Onmyoji oc, she would be like SP Miketsu.

Recent Reblogs

Note to everyone that reblogs about Miketsu was made before Amaterasu's, Susanoo's, and Tsukuyomi's (Not Susabi, but the other Tsukuyomi) canonical appearance.

In truth, it think it was ashamed and wasted potential that they did not go into detail about Inari Foxes since Seimei, who was supposed to be the main character had some connections to them, but he got sidelined and the writers seemed to forgot that Seimei's Parents, Kuzunoha, Masuki, and even Dark Seimei exist.

man....susabi witnessed the punishments of the starborn that went behind tsukuyomi's back ....but man what if tsukuyomi caught susabi during susabi setting up for susanoo to come back.... - but i also think that tsukuyomi is too much of a parent to actually harshly punish susabi to that extreme ......but they also tried to kill susabi through miketsu....i feel like tsukuyomi is such a coin flip of a character
