🎭 Mini-Monologue #2 🎭 

Morning actor pals! 

Firstly, HUGE thanks to the 25 amazing actors who took on Mini-Monologue #1. The performances were all incredible and I was blown away by how entirely different each one was. I can't wait to share the video compilation very soon.

Here’s Mini-Monologue #2.

This is just for fun, if you've got a bit of spare time and fancy getting creative or want something short & sweet for practice. 

Simply perform the mini-monologue however you wish, and upload it to social media (I'll re-share your posts) and/or send it to me to include in the compilation video at the end of the month. You’re welcome to use the monologue wherever and however you like. 

• The piece is likely to run roughly 25-30 seconds (longer or shorter depending on how you want to approach it).

• It's open to ANYONE. The piece is written specifically so anyone of any age or gender can perform it in any style and tone they want.

So I can start dropping a new Mini-Monologue at the start of each month, Mini-Monologue #2 will be open for just a couple of weeks, until July 31st.

• Mini-Monologue #3 will be out August 1st.

Mini-Monologue #2:

“The doctor just wouldn’t listen. I kept begging him to take another look… to check again. But he insisted that my [brother*] had been dead for hours and there was nothing anyone could do. He told me I was in denial… that he was gone. Well, if that was true, how do you explain that he’s just bitten me!?”

*Please feel free to change this to anything you like: husband,

neighbour, granny, son, hamster, mother, teacher, mailman etc.
