Healthy dinner in 5 min. I always forget how much I LOVE this whole wheat pasta dish. My 5 year old actually eats the spinach and tomatoes too! This is my own version with cooked whole wheat penne, low sodium/uncured bacon, chicken tossed in a balsamic vinager, honey and basil pesto sauce and feta. Loads of flavor, low fat and a super easy to prep. I keep the pasta refrigerated separately, sautéed chicken, bacon and red onion, then the sauce. It's about 12°F and I need gym motivation. I let out the chickens, swapped out their frozen water for fresh, watched the handman swap a light fixture we couldn't reach, and of course kept babies and toddlers occupied. But i feel.........lazy?
