I’m sorry to ask this as I’m sure it’s been asked before but if the kickstarter reaches funding, and the pilot gets picked up, do you see the plushies ever being released again? I can’t afford the high donation tier for them but having a way to get one would be cool but it’s understandable if not

Depending on how in demand he is, yes!! But we do plan to make other plushies in the future if all goes well! Plushies of our main characters, RCCK, Rory, etc. is definitely on our list of dream merch items! Possibly even limited edition themed plushies (i.e. Halloween themed, Summer themed, etc.) It depends on how badly you guys would absolutely want more plushies post Kickstarter :-)!

HIII im not sure if anyones asked this yet or if it's a ridiculous question but in the posts you made including the redesigns, are you going to try doing that sort of art style in future episodes or is it just the redesigns?? i love them either way!!

Artstyle + redesigns! We made the decision to simplify the style to make animation easier and the art style easier to replicate! Our team and I thought it was the better course of action, as animation for the trailer had been overwhelming because of the initial art style for the show.

You mentioned recently Zipped Up is important considering the “current climate of media” can you elaborate on what you mean by that??

Like… what climate, which media?? I haven’t seen any concerning trends, so I’m very curious on your outlook!

I don’t want to get too political, but I’m from the United States, and it’s only become increasingly concerning to me that we’re defunding every aspect of children’s entertainment possible. I grew up with so much content that was appropriate for me when I was younger, and I told myself my entire life that I’d create something that could further inspire children the way I was inspired as a child.

It feels like media now is solely focused on adult content. There aren’t any shows for children besides maybe 2 or 3 that aren’t remakes or reboots. It’s so interesting to me how Zipped Up is being treated on other sites, as we’ve received hate and immense negativity just because of what we’re trying to create for those who don’t have something like Zipped Up.

People can say that it’s a Helluva Boss copy or that it looks bad as much as they’d like, but my team and I know that at the end of the day, we’re doing what we do for the kids and families that have nothing safe to watch.

Zipped Up is a swear free, sex free, brainrot free show that I’ve been hard at work crafting since High School. The older I’ve gotten, the more I realize how important it is that we pull through and make this pilot a reality. The Kickstarter funding will only help us get it to you guys sooner rather than later.

Vapor is one of the most powerful beings in the multiverse! He has control over whether or not his body is solid or pure Vapor!

Hi. Uh I don’t know if you’re currently taking questions and I don’t know if you’ll answer this one, but I just want to ask, how would Kester react to/interact with Caine from The Amazing Digital Circus? Do you think they would get along? Since both are ringmasters and just silky guys? Or would he find Caine to be a little too much for him? You don’t have to answer this question if you don’t want to! Also I literally discovered this indie animated show today and I’m already obsessed!

THEY’D BE OBSESSED WITH EACH OTHER! I definitely feel like Kester and Caine would get along and yap about their fun torturous plans for the circus!

I was wondering, what would hapoen if you're not able to fund all the money for the series? Is it going to be cancelated?

If we do not reach our goal, we'll still be working on the pilot, just with a less hard finish date! All this means is that instead of getting the pilot later on in the year or early next year, you may get it 2 or 3 years from now, depending on how long it will take us to finish it :-)! Working on something like an animated pilot for free is not easy. Everyone has families to take care of, lives to live, and paid positions that they need to fulfill. If we can reach our Kickstarter goal, this will not only fund the pilot but also compensate all of the hard work our team has put into the pilot thus far, which is majorly deserved.

We would never pressure our team to continue another year of free work under a tight schedule that could affect their paid positions. Regardless of the studio, PEOPLE are creating the content you're consuming, and they should always come first regardless of the demand of the project.

Possibly in a future follow up episode, but he isn’t important to the story in the series :-)!!

He just wears the hat because he likes to be extra. Kester's as blind as a bat! He uses his ears to get around more than he does his eyesight!

Wait, tweaked? These are completely new designs with new shape language and everything, doesn’t that mean your animators are going to have to redraw these new looks over each frame that’s already been animated? :(

I answered this already, but the team made this decision, and our animators wanted this to happen as much as we did. The old art style was not easy to replicate, and it overstressed animation. The new designs are broken down and very easy to replicate given the shapes and easy to manage simplifications of the designs.

The pilot was not finished, meaning we only had a few shots animated for the trailer that we planned on changing/tweaking anyway due to the inconsistencies in animation.

No one on our team was harmed during this decision. We would never make a decision like this without communicating with our crew/having our crew in mind.

The oldest clowns in Kester's circus take time out of their days to home school the youngest clowns! A studious mindset in that of clownology is the best part of the Kester education system!

I've seen Zipped Up around a few times but I never got invested until I realized there was a JESTER character. I'm here and already changing my entire life to revolve around Kester.
