rise tmnt x reader

Raph pouted to himself as you touched all the scars and spikes of his future self. Sure, it was cool to see he got even bigger, even spikier, and even cooler in the next few years, but it wasn’t as nice to watch you fawn all over him.

How could he even convince himself he was better than his future self? They looked nearly identical but Raph was missing an eye. So he was younger, less experienced, and minus an eye. Clearly, he was losing this make believe battle.

When you passed him, Raph made sure to grab you and hold you against his side. You looked up at him in surprise but he looked away, pretending it wasn’t out of character for him to manhandle you. He risked a glance at his future self and looked away embarrassed at the knowing look. Ugh.

No way he could hide his crush any longer from you.

Leo rolled his eyes as his future self recounted yet another tale of saving a baby from a Kraang monster. You ate it up, eyes shining up at future Leo with adoration.

Leo may have started the invasion, but he also managed to stop it before it could kill all of humanity. So, ha! Future Leo had failed… It was weird to bully himself.

Whatever. He continued to glare at himself, tapping his fingers impatiently. You and him were supposed to go out to eat in two-ish minutes and yet you were still chatting it up with him. He’d have to make sure by the end of that day that you were his and his alone. No future version of himself included.

He crushed up a napkin in front of him and threw it at his future self’s forehead. The larger turtle glared at him and he stuck his tongue out at him. He grabbed you, opened a portal, and took you far, far away from the other turtle. Finally, he was alone with you. So what if he was jealous of himself? He was a looker, that’s for sure.

Did you have to feel up his muscles so obviously? Donnie glowered from a distance, arms crossed and posture tense. And you were talking about all of his tech that he made. Well, Donnie could probably do better than that old turtle could do in a wasteland. Why weren’t you talking to him instead?

Not long after the future Donatello gets distracted by something Mikey is doing, Donnie uses a metal claw to drag you away into his more private lab. “You’re allowed to touch only me.” He glared down at you while you blinked at him innocently, clueless.

“I’m the only one allowed to touch you?” He slapped a hand to his face. “Oh!” Your eyes gleamed. “Were you jealous?”

“No,” he grumbled, leaning away from you as you tried to press close to his face. “I could care less about you.”

“So you COULD care less? So you do?” He froze at his mistake as you joyfully giggled.

Mikey bit at his lip, watching anxiously as you ‘ooh’ed and ‘aw’ed over future him’s magic. Come on! Future him totally knew what he was doing at this point. He knew Mikey couldn’t do any of that cool stuff.

He stood off to the side dejectedly as you finally returned to his side. He’d probably learn all of those eventually, but he couldn’t help but still feel like an idiot who didn’t know how to do it just yet. He looked at you with sad puppy eyes. “You still think I’m cool, right?”

“Of course? You’re the same person?” You were confused. He pouted.

“You don’t love him more than me?”

“Mikey… you’re a lot cuter than your future self.” You stared at future Mikey who had somehow grown hair and then balded. Unlucky, very unlucky. “Just promise me you won’t grow hair.”

“Deal!” He hugged you tight and picked you up, dragging you away from his future self.

As someone who has accidentally slept for 23 hours straight and literally has a nickname as “snooze” I’m obligated to do this (I tried to look for a cute / aesthetic gift but that pup is my spirit animal fr)

I’ve been digging how @oozedninjas does their Headcanons (as long with their writing, I seriously eat it up everytime yum yum yum)

as much as I love looooong Headcanons, sometimes I only have some blurbs going on in my mind, I also think this keeps things so dynamic, every interaction can be seen and everyone is happy yipee (I hope you don’t mind me using your writing style? IT'S TIME FOR A SCENARIO

Ok ok, so, it's like;

We have an MC that people normally see as someone who is very unaffectionate and who always seems to be on the defensive, to such a degree that people think that MC is someone who is Passive-aggressive all the time.

BUT

One day, the boys decide to visit MC at their home by surprise (because they had never visited MC before so they decided to visit him that day because the boys just wanted to)

Yap, at the moment MC will open the door/window (if the boys had decided that it was better to enter through the window) The first thing the boys see is that MC is in his pajamas, one which makes MC, who normally looks like is upset, look like a teddy bear.

And, surprise surprise, MC doesn't seem bothered by the boys' sudden visit to their home (there's only slight confusion, but nothing more than that).

The boys, who expected to receive at least one or another annoying comment or murmur, even a threat to get out of MC's house, are surprised to see the lack of the characteristic MC aggressiveness.

But, anyway, they accept the new discovered side of MC.

(Cut to some boys surprised by the hospitality and kindness with which MC treats them, offering to watch a movie or play one of the few board games in the house, even offering Cook them something)

In short, MC is totally someone who is much more meek and calm when he is in his home than when he is outside of it.

And the boys just love that, even planning to surprise visit MC individually more often.

(This thought came to me only because I imagined Rise! Raphael getting delirious about this, slowly thinking that every time he visits MC, he is actually returning home after a day doing his job ensuring the well-being of New York, being welcomed by his spouse -MC-, and simply living a domestic life)

(Meanwhile MC is just like: "Bruh??? ¿¿??")

Sorry this took me a while to get to, it's been a busy week. But I am LOVING these and thank you to everyone who submitted asks. This is the most asks I've ever received and I have greatly enjoyed this. A Tier: 90's movie Splinter: This is a rat Splinter. He is a good dad and tries his best. This man loves his sons. Also, easily the most frail of all the Splinters, but still manages to toss Shredder off a building.

2003: Another rat Splinter. This man loves his sons and also loves his father, Hamato Yoshi. He is wise, caring, and very invested in in his sons' lives.

2012: A Hamato Yoshi Splinter. I love this Splinter so much. I think he is my favorite thing to come out of 2012. This man is Dad Vibes so much! He loves his kids and he wants them to have the best lives he can provide. I also love that we got this massive more human-sized Splinter. Just love him all around.

B Tier: 80's cartoon Splinter: A Hamato Yoshi Splinter, he has a great design and amazing voice actor. He is calm, he is zen and fatherly. He looses points because he never calls the turtles his sons. They are always "My turtles/pupils/students." The very first time I heard Splinter call the boys his sons was in the 90's movie and it blew my little mind. (Note, I'm not sure if maybe they changed it in the last seasons where they were trying to be more like the live action movies. It's been so long, I don't remember.)

2007 Splinter: I THINK this is a Hamato Yoshi Splinter? This is a hard one for me because everything in the movie is good. I love his design, I love his VA, I love his lines and how he interacts with the turtles. But there was just something OFF about the whole of the 2007 movie and I figured it out by reading the comics that take place before the movie. In which Splinter picks Leonardo ONLY to go on this world tour for vague reasons while the others are stuck at home. Raphael is immediately hurt and angry at the blatant favoritism. Don and Mikey look like they are so used to it, they don't even argue anymore. Leo is so much the golden child in this movie it hurts me in my soul. Splinter is a terrible father, but he was fine on screen if you take the movie at face value.

C Tier: Next Mutation Splinter: I don't recall if it was ever clear if he was a ran or Hamato Yoshi. He knew Venus' dad, so maybe Hamato Yoshi? He gives off these prancy, gay dad vibes which are kind of fun and fresh for a Splinter. (He plays chess out in the park late at night with his blind boyfriend.) He doesn't do too much to parent his extremely dumbass kids. Maybe since they're 18 he's decided they are their own problem now. And while the turtle suits are pretty nice for a TV production, the rat suit is BAAAAD.

Bayverse Splinter: This one makes no sense. Any Splinter that takes out Hamato Yoshi completely really throws off the universe. Why is he so Asian coded when he has no Asian influence in his life aside from finding a book on martial arts? It's weird. Other than that, he's fine in the movies.

Rise Splinter: A Hamato Yoshi Splinter. I like that we got a Splinter where you can really see the depression from being turned into a rat. And you can see how the turtles turned out to be different people: Leo and Raph especially, without Splinter there to be an influence on the group dynamic. But the characterization doesn't make sense. He says he loves his boys, but he doesn't always know their names? I know this was played for laughs, but the characterization wasn't there. Also minus points for the god-awful character design. Again, I know dad-bod Splinter was played for laughs, but...we had to look at it.

Mutant Mayhem Splinter: Again, another Splinter without Hamato Yoshi that makes no sense. However, he is a GOOD dad who loves his sons and does his best to keep his family together. I love this idea that he is a shut in because he is actually scared of the surface. I do have a hard time buying he is a martial arts master from merely watching kung fu movies. And also minus points for the god-awful character design.

When I read Mikey " doesn't think too hard about everything" in his new character description for totmnt, i was thinking, what if he still gets good grades?

Now, how funny would it be if Mikey, despite everything, is a straight A student or a decent student, while Donnie, overwhelmed by workload, gets average grades minus science.

Hear me out. When I read the character description prior to the movie, it seems that Donnie is still learning.

There are a lot of refreshing things about mutant mayhem and the absence of the beef between Leo and Raph, No Leo favoritism and no unnecessary violence really makes me appreciate this iteration, just like Rise.

I have experienced in high school many times that one lazy student that's always late or hardly attend school, still get good grades!

Mutant mayhem Donnie is clearly confident with his intelligence, and he will be a good student, no doubt, but take a look at this.

Paralyzed by decisions, huh? Sounds a lot like myself, and I performed not so well at school when I was overwhelmed with workload, despite the fact I was decent and way more intelligent than I realized

13. Which character are you most similar two.

For me there are two characters that come to mind. The first is rises Sunita. She is by no means dumb, but like me, she is a tad naive. She gets easily distracted and isn't always aware of what's happening around her. But she is generally happy and cares about others. She is fun and is always down for a good time. And on top of all of it she is sentimental.

The next character is 2012 Mikey. Now I like Mikey as a character but I relate to him to much for him to be a favorite of mine. Out of every iterations turtles (minus bay and mm) 2012 Mikey is at the bottom of the list. He just embodies to many feelings and attitudes that I am trying to leave behind. The feeling of not belonging in your family. The feeling of wanting to be yourself and as a result never being taken seriously due to your goofy nature. The desire for companionship outside of you family but being unable to connect with others and ending up with fake friends. Being punished for honest mistakes. Being punished for being easily distracted. The desire to feel important but being out done by your older siblings. Feeling like your only redeeming quality is that you're cute. Mikey as a character is fine but he is to real for me personally for me to really like him.

So I'm probably a combination of Sunita and 2012 Mikey.

Look at this dingus. With his with his stupid big forehead. Massive friggin forehead. Bros over here looking like a whole purple expo marker. He look like he'd go 'ee ee' if your rubbed his forehead. And then this dude tries and act like an "emotionally unavailable bad boy". Bro you got the attitude of Jimmy Neutron and the personality of a chronically online theater kid. Your a nerd and a dork, ain't no one believes you're"emotionally unavailable" or a "bad boy". The baddest thing you've done is save the world and you did that while BIRTH BREATHING. I’ve seen people’s take on the ages of the MM turtles (Leo’s the oldest, Mikey’s the oldest, Raph and Mikey are twins, etc) and here’s MY TAKE:

They’re quadruplets

Look I don’t know about you guys but for once in my time in the fandom I’ve truly felt they’re the same age (or relatively on the maturity level). It could be the teenager/pre-teen VAs, but I don’t get the same ‘they’re different ages’ energy from the MM boys.

Like although Leo’s the anxious one I don’t get the feeling he’s the most anxious because he’s the oldest and the leader and blah blah blah. He’s just a teen full of anxiety.

And Mikey doesn’t feel like the youngest to me (because the scene he had with talking about the watermelon being like his head) but not like the oldest either (because he’s equally fooling around with Raph and Donnie). He’s isn’t some young goofball baby of the family but not a cool oldest sibling either.

And same thing with Raph and Donnie. Donnie for more obvious reasons mostly because the VA I’m gonna be honest but just his general demeanor. He feels like a teenager who happens to be smart, not someone who’s smart but happens to be a teenager.

And Raph doesn’t give me ‘edgy wishes to be leader roughy guy’ he’s just a jock teen who wants to do sports. He doesn’t give off the same ‘second oldest’ energy all the other Raphs (minus Rise Raph) have.

TL;DR: It could just be the VAs and the fact we only got a few scenes in the trailer, but I don’t feel like the MM boys have like ‘youngest to oldest’ energies like most TMMT incarnations do. When I compare them side-by-side they all just feel like quadruplets with different personalities.

Raph’s Anger

I see people saying they don’t like 2012 Raph purely for his anger, and that he’s a bad brother because of it.

Raph appears as a person who is angry for no reason, and just overreacts to everything. In my opinion, raph is actually pretty decent at handling his anger compared to other iterations raph’s, (minus rise) he’s very sensitive, and by far the most emotional of his brothers. People ignore this side to him, and just see him as the angry one.

He (understandably) feels misunderstood because of this. Hes out of place, like he doesn’t belong with his brothers. Leo is the brave, fearless leader, Donnie is the smart one, he builds amazing things, Mikey is talented, and very empathetic, and Raph is angry. Thats it. He’s the angry one. “Raphael’s got the most attitude on the team”

His brothers also tend to ignore this, teasing him and ignoring his complaints about how “they just don’t get it”. Ignoring what he tries to say to them about his anger, and how he feels misunderstood only leads to more frustration on Raph’s behalf. They go so far as to call him a big baby, and tell him he’s just whining. It’s clear he’s trying his best to control it, but his brothers misunderstanding of his anger doesn’t help.

Raph tends to try to keep control over his anger, agian, its very obvious he tries to control it. He only ever really lashed out during the invasion, and was stopped by mikey.

Raph’s anger does not make him a bad brother

Raph’s anger doesn’t mean he doesn’t love or care about his brothers

He is almost always the most visibly distressed when his siblings get hurt/do something reckless that could get them hurt. When Leo was in a coma he rarely ever left his side. When Shredder threw Splinter down the sewers in the end of season two, Raph got so angry he attacked his brothers in a fit of blind rage.

Raph’s anger doesn’t stop him from being a loveable character, and it doesn’t stop him from caring about his brothers. He is more than his anger

TEB Scrapped scene Ch 30

Spoilers for ch 30, sort of, so read under your own discretion! This is the post linked to the Author Note, regarding the scrapped scene where....

The 12-fam is the one doing the rescuing~ it's a short snippet, here you go!

*** Scrapped, 12 fam rescue ending ***

The white lights of the ceiling — too white, just like the lab, just like Draxum’s lab — blinked repeatedly.

Then shut down completely, so the only source of light was the oval portal, which had yet to dissipate, and the glowing web that was keeping them down.

The darkness is welcome, it is an opportunity. They can run. Portal is light.

They don’t roar, but they force their tired body to move, no matter how much it hurts. They trash against the glowing bindings. The pink aliens are going pium-pium at something in the darkness, and they can mildly recognize the sounds and scent as familiar. Tots, family, their tot family? 

“I’ve got you,” the blue one says, the glint of a sharp blade stabbing the circle that… originated the glowing net? Oh, of course, everything had a source, One should have seen it— but it was ok, they had been too worried, too afraid, Mind Raph said it was ok to be afraid, and Savage believed him. Mind Raph was nice with him, always nice...

“Let’s get out of here,” the red one urges, reaching to their arm to pull them up, releasing his grip when they flinch and whine in pain.

“Take. Child. Leave,” they said instead, gesturing to the redhead with their nose. They’re too slow, too many auchies, not safe to stay with them, they can’t protect.

“No turtle stays behind,” Third denies quickly. “Donnie, we need the spiky-bro rolley!”

“I’M KINDA BUSY RIGHT NOW!” Second screams from somewhere far away.

The lights come back up. The walls cackle with electricity as they are coated with the force shield once more, but the ceiling doesn’t get any zip-zips.

The ceiling doesn’t. It has an opening, the one the tots used to come inside, both entrance and exit.

They could escape, they all could escape.

They forced their body to stand up once more, still hugging the humanoid child. Second is cursing and running away from pink-robot-aliens, as he abandons an open panel present on one of the biggest machines. 

The orange one is screaming “Heeeeey! Over here you dumb rock!”  as he throws random things at the giant, jumping and running across the highest places of the ceiling as he screams, barely escaping from a rock fist.

“Orange. Tot… not safe. Help!” they throw the human child over their shoulder, so they can use both hands to grab onto the structure above as they jump. It hurts, everything hurts, but they’re so close, so close! They can make it, they all can make it out alive!

“Mikey we’re getting away now! We all are!” the blue one orders, even when he doesn’t jump himself. “Donnie, ETA!?”

“T-minus three, so get on running!” 

The orange tot goes up, exits the building to get to the roof, and they follow right after. The red tot grabs the purple one and helps him up, so only the blue one is left.

The blue one disappears in a cloud of smoke, leaving the enemies confused, as he jumps up and up and up...

—> AN: If I had gone with this route, perhaps the Rise fam would have had like, a second or two in the 12 dimension before having the lab blow up in their faces. It would have been quite different, their reunion would have taken quite longer… either way, what was a “must have” plot point was for [Redacted] which is what happened on the official Ch 31st *winks in Author* Ain’t that neat? ;D

What you doing if you get stuck in Rise! for a day?

Cry, I'd probably be so confused.

But then just wander, I have main character luck, the turtles will just appear eventually.

When they do I'd probably act like a fan girl or something. Mainly asking questions so I can write better and probably asking to touch different parts of their body, like the carapace and scutes.

Knowing me, I'd definitely befriend them, minus Donnie. He's getting a glare and I'm ignoring him. He'd be so confused.

Might be invited to lair, I'd want to see everything so I could draw it later. Donnie might interrogate me because, well, I'm not from his universe. I'd run off to make something with Mikey as I laugh at Leo's bad one liners.

But I'd be sad when the full twenty-four hours were up.

Seer Twin AU. Just curious how the 2012 boys would react to rottmnt Raph's telepathy or Mikey's general magical prowess. I kinda want to see their explode trying to wrap their minds around it, especially 2012 Donnie's science mind. (Like find out about all of it because rottmnt turtles are just so nonchalant about it by the time they meet.)

12 Donnie's brain stopped trying to process it all as soon as the first "power" was mention. Telepathy? Seeing the future? Time portals made by hand? Nope, does not compute. He just straight up blue screens lol.

All of them (minus 12 Mikey) are a little worried that there's a Mikey that can make time travel portals, b/c they know without a shadow of a doubt that their mikey would use it for pranking shenanigans (and probably to steal their pizza before they can eat it lol.)

Rise Raph having telepathy is kinda fascinating for 12 Leo and 12 Mikey i'd imagine. 12 Mikey immediately tries to get him to read his mind, which confuses Raph b/c it's like his Mikey's mind but not quite, and a lot more cluttered and overwhelming so he can't actually get much from it.

12 Raph is skeptical about the whole telepathy thing, until Rise Raph starts listing off the names 12 Raph gave to every Pigeon that lives in the park, and suddenly 12 Raph isn't so skeptical and is trying to make him shut up lol.

So here’s something I noticed about characterization in MM TMNT. They use similar traits and quirk as ROTTMNT. Nothing against Mutant Mayhem, I hope that people enjoy it. I just find it interesting.

MM LEO

So Rise Leo also often boasted, to compensate for his lack of confidence, and annoyed his brothers with dumb puns and so on.

Mikey: Really Leo?

Leo: What? I can’t make a joke in the middle of the craziest thing ever? That’s how I cope.

So kind of like how Rise Leo often considers himself in relation to his team and has built his whole identity around being a member of a team, to the point that he’s wiling to sacrifice himself instead of lose his brothers?

Leo: I’m nothing without them.

Rise Raph loves to smash! In fact that’s almost always his MO when it comes to plans. He will literally rush in, head first.

Yet, at the same time, Raph is in tune with his more sensitive side. Honestly, this is the ONLY thing that sets Rise Raph apart from all the other Raph’s, in that he is MUCH more free about his sensitive side and isn’t afraid to show how much he cares about things, including anything cute.

Rise Raph Also had a hard time showing vulnerability too.

Honestly, this describes Rise Donnie to a Tee, minus the indecision part. It’s almost one for one.

Another thing he shares with Rise Mikey, seeing as Rottmnt Mikey has more emotional intelligence with his brothers and is usually the first to try and make friendships, even with people that don’t deserve it, like Draxum.

If y’all need something to fill the void while you wait for MM, I say give ROTTMNT a chance if you haven’t. It still has everything TMNT fans want and search for in the characters, but it doesn’t get as much love as the other iterations.

Okay so I just got an ide for a ROTTMNT/TMNT 2012 crossover fanfic but I'm shit at writing so uhm here's the idea if anyone wants to write it. If you do write it please credit me/tag me/message me lol. You don't have to ask for permission just like, make sure I know about it/can read it thamks

Anyway, the actual idea is as follows:

Okay okay so it's set post-movie (like a few months later ) and everyone's recovering and healing their trauma and all that right? So they're all doing pretty ok but Leo's doing like worse than the others ptsd/mentally-wise and is very wary about like the concept of time/dimension travel.

So, Raph, Mikey and Donnie, being the good brothers they are, don't being up the topic around him, but they talk about it when he's not around cuz Donnie's making a multi-dimensional gun because since he's proved time travel, he also wants to prove dimensional travel.

Anyway so he finishes the gun, right? And so he takes his brothers (minus Leo) to test it out somewhere secluded. And it works!! And alternate veraions of him, his brothers, April, Splinter and even Casey (all 2012 mind you) come through the portal!! And everyones confused and excited so they introduce themselves and clear everything up and all that. So then the 2012 gang turn around to go home but the portal closed and the gun's not working for whatever reason. Shit.

Raph offers they stay with them, and then Mikey reminds them of Leo and everyone (-2012) is like 'Oh shit what are we gonna do'

And so they decide on a plan. The 2012 gang are going to stay in their lair until they find a way to send them back and tell Rise! Splinter about it, but make sure Rise! Leo, under NO CIRCUMSTANCE, finds out.

And the whole fanfic is them trying to navigate life while keeping the 2012 gang a secret from Rise Leo

In the end (think like a month more or less later) Leo finds out and freaks out but like a week later Rise Donnie sends them back to their universe so yeah. The Rise gang did get the 2012 gang's phone numbers tho so possible chatfic about that too??? Idk

Celina! I just had the weirdest idea!

Coralline au!

M/c lives in a world identical-if not exact- to ours…

But!

There is a small door in m/c’s room that takes them to the rottmnt dimension.

The turtles are the ‘beldams’ of the story, the only difference being their world isn’t a fake trap used to kidnap children and devour their souls. Their world is literally rottmnt only they are yanderes with button eyes. Also every other character that isn’t one of the turtles is strangely not there-

M/c’s home dimension- to help follow some of the plot from Coraline- kinda sucks. Neglectful parents who are so strung up in their work, they don’t notice m/c. M/c would live in a two-story small house (mainly because I don’t know how I would fit the other characters into this, so they don’t exist here).

M/c loves rottmnt, and so finding a doorway that leads them to a parallel universe with the rise characters only they have sewn on button eyes would surely make m/c really happy at first, given her current circumstances. Yeah sure, they act a little different and kinder compared to the show, but they seem really nice! What’s the worst that could come from staying a little longer?

I can imagine the turtles seeing m/c as their own kin- but not in the delusional “ I am related to you by blood way. More in a “you are our adopted sibling/child” kind of way. They believe they should be the ones to take care of m/c because, clearly, their parents aren’t doing that good of a job at it.

I also wanted a huge motivator for the turtles going platonic yandere on m/c, so I decided to add a bit of angst to this au. Everyone but the turtles is dead, minus background characters.Either by the Shredder or Krang, they are all dead. Or they never existed in this world! Either way, m/c still has no answer as the turtles never talk about them.

Also, Donnie has most likely already stalked m/c before their arrival in their world, which allows the other turtles to already have crucial knowledge on m/c that will aid them in their goals. Poor m/c still hasn’t noticed the cameras-

Once m/c realizes what is going on, it would be far too late to stop it. M/c’s only contacts in their world is their parents, and they won’t believe m/c! Though, it may not be too hard to convince them, seeing as they are already kidnapped and locked away-

The only thing m/c can even do to escape is run and hope to find a new caretaker, because they ain’t getting their parents back from the turtles. I guess the other option is to re-enter the other-world, which would most likely result in m/c being tied down whilst Mikey stitches buttons on their eyes don’t worry, Donnie has already gave them something to make them go numb. They don’t feel a thing physically!

Now, let’s say m/c somehow freed her parents and escaped. Now, m/c would have to burn down the entire house and find a new place to live, because they WILL find a way to get through the door if it is intact. Though, this may not even save m/c, because Donnie could easily make another one in their new home…

(Is this good? I hope it is. I love how we both just torture m/c with fictional mutant turtles with superpowers-)

"Yeah, you have a nice pair of buttons, bud." Raph also smiles at you, kneeling down to be closer to your eye level. His onyx, dead button "eyes" stare back at you. "I'm so happy to have you as our new member."

Leo strokes your head, "No more having to go back to the place...That wretched place where your so-called parents harboured you. But it's alright, no more having to be neglected by them! You'll just be coddled with all the brotherly and parental love you deserve!" His expression darkens when he mentions your parents, malice seeping through his words.

"And as a celebration and in memory of this wonderful event-" Donnie turns his back to you, his metal spider arm holding his phone, "Say 'Buttoning!'" Everybody poses as the camera clicks, cheering the word 'Buttoning!' alongside Donatello.

But you...You weren't smiling in the picture, you had a look of horror. Restrained in Mikey's chains, unable to speak in fear of what they would do.

Rise!Dredge AU sketches #2

I looked up a few references towards fishing waders gear. I want to focus more on getting an idea how these will look on the guys. So I left out the beanie hats from the first sketch. For the sake of it being easy to draw. Also forgot to draw Leo's bandana mask but, I rarely draw him without it so... I just left it as it is lol.

So for now, I might just stick with this because this recent heat wave is a struggle trying to draw anything in this weather ; _ ;

I started with Raph first because I wanted to get better at drawing the rain hat on him and the clothing also fishing rain gear themed with his fishing wader. He still has his left hand, I just didn't know what hand pose to draw and just left it as a curled up fist hiding him lol.

Leo almost has the same outfit as the in-game fisherman you play as. But, small details like the cloaking brooch with the Hamato insignia and a triangle shaped lucky rock by his belt. The lucky rock might be changed to something else once I get used to drawing this outfit and the others. So its just there as a placeholder.

I wasn't sure how to draw the popped up collar shirt for Donnie and just went for the simple look. Well minus part of his plastron peeking out of his shirt. You know just to keep his bad boy image. And he might not be out in the ocean for too long if his luck for dredging for various materials or aberrations is really bad. Also probably whines about the heat if it really annoys his softshell and scales.

I referenced a bit of his future!self's outfit with the rectangle detail on his fishing waders. And mostly the h-back suspenders still consist of rectangle shapes as well.

He'll still slightly pester Leo and Raph to wear gloves (fishing or decoy) while handling aberration fish. A previous trip where Raph with max panic and a banged up boat left the softshell turtle in a terrible mood while trying sort through storage.

I sort of kept Mikey's outfit simple since his beanie hat (from the 1st sketch) can act as the focal point with the Hamato symbol. However, there are some little details I would like to add in the future. Like the suspender buttons with reference to his paint symbols from the show with the mix of in game paint the Painter npc gives to you from crab pot aberrations.

He used to get pestered by Donnie to wear gloves but, since he sometimes visits the Marrows and Gale Cliffs as a part time cook and delivery boy for food. It doesn't happen as much.
