Hesperia (Betterfly) Headcanons

Note: I always wonder where the name Hesperia came from. Like is it just a fandom thing? Eh whatever I like it better than Betterfly lol.

He spends his spare time writing out motivational speeches that he usually ends up spewing out in the midst of battles with villains thinking that maybe they’ll change for the better

Is the type of guy to stop and drop everything to save an old lady’s cat from being stuck in a tree

Loves hot tea and energy drinks

Uses his superhero abilities to keep an eye on his loved ones (mostly Adrien)

He makes concept art and designs costumes for himself and other members of The Resistance

He cares for all his little kamiko’s and keeps them in his own personal butterfly garden

Even though he knows he shouldn’t he doesn’t use all his strength when fighting against Shadybug and Claw Noir because he knows they’re just kids and doesn’t want to hurt them

Has a whole collection of DC superhero comics

He tried to get Adrien to have an interest in superhero’s and the miraculous but stopped when he realized Adrien had more of a liking towards the villains

He tried to never fall in love again because of his never ending guilt of being responsible for Emilie’s death

He’d overly sensitive and optimistic

When he met Chat Noir for the first time he couldn’t help but be reminded of his own son Adrien

He tries not to but can’t help but read all the tabloids involving him

He is married to Nathalie Sancoeur she is the only person who is aware of his secret life as a hero

When he went to Ladybug and Chat Noir’s universe he couldn’t help but go and check on that world’s version of Nathalie. Seeing his lover ill (even if they weren’t lovers in that universe) broke him and he didn’t want to leave

Hesperia doesn’t allow his loved ones to join The Resistance because he fears it’s too dangerous

Hesperia once saved Adrien’s life which made the angsty teenager quite annoyed

Nathalie once stole the butterfly miraculous while Hesperia was sleeping to try it on in an attempt to seduce him. When he woke up he thought she was a villain and tried to attack her. Nathalie never used the miraculous after that

Is jealous of Shadybug’s really awesome outfit

Nathalie often scolds Hesperia when he comes home all bruised and beat up

He plays with Adrien’s video games when he’s not home because he wants to study “fighting strategies” — he’s addicted

Whenever he has to go out on a mission at night he has to leave very quietly otherwise Nathalie will stop him

He made a little tiny bed for his kwami Nooroo to sleep in

Does the Re verse/shady bug and claw noir AU exist in This AU? It would be cool seeing betterfly/hesperia interacting with a post season 2 Chat Noir or Post Finale Chat Noir interacting with Shadybug since she still exists in her universe, etc and etc. Lol!!!!!!!!

But here’s the designs for them if they existed in my AU!!

I wanted to play with the “good and bad luck” aspect. Reverse Marinette struggled with bad luck, and Reverse Adrien had good luck UNTIL they got their miraculous!!

Reverse Marinette is a bullied teen who’s life is pretty bad. Her mom’s bakery is going under, her dad is sick need to pay medical bills, everyone at her regular public school thinks she’s creepy and dirty so she has no friends, and life seems to always go out of its way to make her miserable. She has a massive crush on Adrien, even though she has caught him multiple times throwing away her anonymous love letters. (He KNOWS they’re from her and he finds her obsessive and a loser).

As Shadybug, she takes out her emotions and anger on innocent Parisians. She loves feeling like she has control over her life and actions, and making others feel the same way she does: fearful. She terrorizes alongside Claw Noir, who always has an idea on how to make something go from bad to worse. But she finds his doting cringe and desperate.

Reverse Adrien is the wonder boy who never seems to get what’s coming to him! He’s figured out that no matter what he does, for some unnatural reason, he seems to never face any real consequences. You could say he’s been “spoiled by life”. After receiving the cat miraculous, he can’t act out nearly as much anymore because for the first time, he now knows what it’s like to face the results of his actions (detention, suspension, grounding, etc.) and he lowkey HATES it. Even though he likes being Claw Noir at times, he argues that the cat miraculous ruined his life.

When he becomes Claw Noir he channels his destructive tendencies towards Paris, while fighting the akumas that Betterfly throws at them. Unknown to anyone, his favorite part is being defeated, which means it’s the end of the game. The Bonnie to his Clyde, Shadybug’s unsympathetic and sadistic attitude is the kind of girl Claw Noir likes best, so he does whatever she asks him to in the name of love.

Here they are! The two edgelords you've all been waiting for, Re-verse Kagami and Luka

I had a lot of different interpretations of these two, but the one I ended up settling on is them as villains. They're the current Dragon and Snake miraculous holders and they've been working for the Supreme longer than Marinette and Adrien (hence the even more pronounced scars on their faces). They were Marinette and Adrien's superiors and trained them when they first joined, and they would also be Shadybug and Claw Noir's replacements after the two of them left.

Kagami's family has been involved with the Supreme for centuries, so her mom has been training her since birth to be the next Dragon user. Since she was basically raised by the Supreme and an even more controlling version of Tomoe, this version of Kagami is way more cold and calculated. She usually doesn't speak more words than she absolutely has to.

Luka was approached by the Supreme in a similar way to Marinette. He was at a lowpoint in his life and they took advantage of that. In this universe, he lives with Jagged, while Juleka lives with Anarka. They know about their parents divorce and of each other's existence, but they almost never see each other. Juleka has no idea about all the sketchy stuff her brother is up to. Personality-wise, he's very slimy and manipulative... snakelike even

I was debating whether I should post these along with their transformed designs, or seperately, but Evil!Viperion is taking forever to draw, so I'll probably post those later this week when they're done. I also need names for Evil Ryuko and Evil Viperion, so if you have any ideas, please tell me!

Hesperia x Nathalie Headcanons

Note: Spoilers for Miraculous World: Paris

Hesperia is the spontaneous one in the relationship

Nathalie secretly watches all of Hesperia’s tv coverage despite him telling her not too, because he doesn’t want her to worry for his safety

Hesperia likes to sneak up on Nathalie from behind to surprise her

Hesperia loves tickling Nathalie, which she pretends to hate but secretly loves

Shadybug and Claw Noir will use Nathalie as bait against Hesperia

The biggest fight Hesperia and Nathalie ever had was when she once tried to pull off his miraculous without him noticing so she could find out his secret identity

Nathalie will complain about Gabriel Agretse to Hesperia, of course not knowing that he himself is Gabriel Agreste

In the middle of the night, Hesperia will jump on top of Nathalie’s rooftop to get her attention

Nathalie will defend Hesperia out in public to anyone who will listen, despite it giving her a bad reputation

Hesperia will always keep in range to make sure Nathalie is safe

Nathalie is the only person, Hesperia won’t let join The Resistance against The Supreme, because he doesn’t want anything bad to happen to her

Nathalie always treats Hesperia’s wounds and scars after he’s had a encounter with Shadybug and Claw Noir

Nathalie will beg for Hesperia to tell her anything h about his personal life even if it is just the smallest detail

Despite Hesperia’s superhero title, Nathalie can also be very protective

Nathalie hates keeping their relationship a secret, even though she knows it is necessary

Nathalie often has nightmares about Hesperia getting hurt and to mitigate that, he will sing and hold her as a form of comfort
