costume nerd moment but the way i was going INSANE in the stream over miranda's 1940's housecoat combination sackback gown
#me when costume designers mix midcentury + 18th century: girl_biting_blood_teeth.jpg#i would love to know... why.#i guess because the robe/nightgown is more familiar to us with Nighttime / vulnerability / domesticity#and taking a chemise off over her head is not so convenient#bs costume design is SOOO O O good but this one has stuck out#ooc.
