She blinked, her cheeks flushing in embarrassment. "I- I apologize!" She tucked her head and prayed the other wouldn't find her offensive. She had just never seen someone so beautiful before. Without a second thought, she extended the basket in her hands. "For my insolence." The basket held baked goods she had made in hopes of selling in town. She would rather lose coin than create hostility.

Green eyes glance up at the other as a brow raises. It’s clear he’s not human especially by the ears. Head tilting the traveler can’t help but smirk. Humans were never one to be this blatant with staring. The archfey can’t help but chuckle.

"We both know that I'm the responsible one between the two of us, brother. If someone is going to keep you from doing stupid things it will be me." She corrected him with a grin. Though he had a point they would always look out for each other. She rested her hand against his on her shoulder and nods. "Alright. I think I can live with that but please." Her eyes turned serious. "Vax, don't play hero, don't take unnecessary risks. I can't lose you."

“Shouldn’t I be telling you that?” He chuckles looking up at his sister. A gentle hand rests on her shoulder as he stands up.

“We’re going to protect each other, that’s a fact.”

"I- I'm so-rry." She stuttered out. Her arms were full with bags from shops her stepsisters had sent her to, insisting they needed this and that. "I just need through here, please."

Sugar really wasn’t much better today when it comes to paying attention to their surroundings. Her mind was occupied with a swarm of thoughts. Her friends that has been missing since the last extermination. This new girl showing up at work and totally taking her spotlight. Even what she was supposed to scrounge together for dinner! It all ended up with Sugar’s eyes focusing on the ground when she should have been looking forward.

“Oh!” Sugar whinnied a little when her walking was suddenly thrown off course. Her face flushes ruby red, and she brings a hand up to steady the woman she bumped into. “No, no, you’re okay! Totally my fault.”

She laughs a little to hopefully keep the mood light, smiling brightly at the stranger. Oh wait, this was no stranger, to Sugar anyway.

“I’m so sorry, princess, I should look where I’m going.”

She really needs to pay attention more. Especially when she’s out of the hotel, so she could avoid these situations. But after bumping into someone while spacing out looking at something going on in the sky she kinda screwed herself.
