the story of how i got into hibike is honestly not that interesting at all, i'm afraid to say. i saw a gifset of the mountain scene while s1 was airing and thought "huh, that looks gay" and then watched all eight episodes that existed at that point. and then i was hooked. i started writing fics that summer (2015) and then i wrote the coffeeshop au that fall and from then on...well, i couldn't unconnect with the story. i loved hibike. i still love hibike. i have no idea how it's going to end.

if you're still taking asks about heathers 2010: any headcanons about ashmac and adj growing up together, since it seemed like they'd known each other their whole lives

They probably despised each other growing up because their moms forced them together and were OBSESSED with the idea of them being friends, but finally got a long sometimes around middle school. A real “enemies to accomplices” type of relationship

Ash was pretty preppy when she was younger, mainly because at that point your parents are making most of your fashion and extracurricular decisions. Her Goth Glow Up happened in 6th grade and both shocked ADJ and may have triggered her gay awakening, they have no romantic feelings for each other but they’re both very aware that the other is hot. 

They’re the perfect people to hang out because ADJ insists on planning and controlling everything and Ash is bi which means she can’t make decisions to save her life and just lets ADJ take the wheel.
