I'm glad @mito_red_light products are built so well. Almost 2 years and still rocking! Getting back to some consistent red light therapy to help this left shoulder rotator cuff heal up. Apparently, it was not ready to handle the progress I have been making since surgery. At first I was worried that I had reinjured my shoulder labrum. 😳 After doing some extra research and resting for most of this week I can tell that it is most likely a strained supraspinatus (and maybe an aggravated infraspinatus). So, back to letting the shoulder rest for a bit, along with some PT exercises to help get it back on track. It's annoying, but not addressing it and allowing it to get better will just result in having to go under the knife again. πŸ”ͺ Pressing and pulling movements are of the table for a bit. Stepping up my recovery efforts with @mitoredlight therapy. 🚨. . Deep & Near Infrared light therapy has shown to improve: βœ… Sleep βœ… Skin βœ… Inflammation βœ… Muscle Recovery βœ… Joint Pain . There are a number of studies that I will go into more detail about in upcoming posts. I will say, however, that I have experienced all of these after a little over a month of use. . I decided to go with Mito Red Light since their units are affordable and have exceptional performance. . From their website (Link is in my bio) -"Our Mito Red Original and MitoMOD Series with ESPEO, deliver light energy across the entire spectrums of Red (620-700nm with peak at 660nm) and NIR (800-900nm with peak at 850nm)." . I have the Mito Original - MitoMid unit. This thing is built like a tank! Rigid metal construction, and they provide everything you need to mount/hang the unit where needed. There are separate switches for the deep red and near infrared light arrays, but I always use both. It is immediately apparent how powerful the lights are as soon as you turn them on and within a couple minutes I start to feel a penetrating warmth when using this. I primarily use it on my back, chest, face, and my left shoulder with an old injury. . I will share more about how this type of therapy has helped me, soon (including some before and after photos of how it has helped some areas of hyper-pigmentation, and reduced some "age spots".)
