Star wars is a fandom that was made by George Lucas. He based star wars off of war and you can't deny that. Vietnam, cold War, nazi Germany, juliue caesar, napoleon bonapart, Richard Nixon. This is the history it's based on.

So thank you star wars for finally showing the true story of the rebellion and for showing that it isn't just all dudes in cloaks with glowing sticks fighting robots, it's about the people and the pain and the suffering.

And sincere anger towards any star wars fan who refuses to watch andor because its not like what you've seen before.

The best part of the finale is that in one of Cassians lowest points where he was a prisoner to the empire he didn't have a choice but to build the laser that would one day kill him and millions more, he is not the leader, he's not the hero and nobody will remember him.

And it juxtaposes perfectly with the best moment where in some of his last moments of freedom, he made the choice to give people the ability destroy the one thing that would kill him. And he's not the leader, nobody will remember him but for one moment, he is the hero.

I think the best thing about Andor and episode 7 and 8 is that it shows the prison system in such a realistic light. It shows how you can go to prison for doing nothing and with no defense you don't know why you received your sentence or why it's so long. It shows how prison labour was prevalent during a real imperial time and still now and it just sends such an important message that needs to be said, especially in star wars.

Just thinking about Andor and looked back at one of my favourite George Lucas quotes that just fits perfectly with the show.

"Because the democracies aren’t overthrown; they’re given away.”

Like, that's just so true and so insightful and this show is showing the ways that people like Mon mothma and her friends are sort of allowing the empire to just take over their lives and destroy it because it makes their richer.

Is it just me or is anyone else getting the vibes that Vel may be related to Luthen.

Cinta makes that comment about not everyone coming from luxury and it seems to hurt Vel

She also seems to have some connection to luthen and shuts down all of cassians questions.

Just an observation though.
