I do! (Long post incoming!)

First there's Levi, holder of my Swan of Loyalty. He'll be getting his own fic, set in Oregon. He's almost the same age as the Paris heroes, though he runs solo, and isn't all too sure of the idea of being a hero.

Then I have Anthony, who's the holder of my Kangaroo of Avarice and the Guardian of my Wandering Box. He goes by Joseph when transformed, and while he's originally from Australia, he currently travels the world with his kwamis. He's a fairly chill guy overall, and he'll appear in fics in My Miracle Box AU (cough cough @mymiraclebox cough cough).

Also there's Xóchitl, another Guardian and holder, this time of my Hidden Box in Mexico. She wields the Jaguar as Ocelotl, and takes her role as Guardian very seriously. She'll also be appearing in fics in My Miracle Box AU, and she might show up in A New Guardian as well.

There's two holders that work with Xóchitl, who will be wielding the Firefly (Space) and Raccoon (Void) as Stargazer and Vacía. These two are going to be a very tight knit duo. They're still in development, so I don't have names for them yet, and credit goes to @deathbirby for their designs!

I also have Claude, very loosely based on the Claude from the Quantic Kids (old scraped show idea before the main series was fully developed). He'll be on the New York hero team wielding the Falcon of Observation with the hero name Eye of Ra. He'll basically be the class clown of the group, and is very close with Aeon.

Then I have a few more character concepts I have plans for, but I haven't fully planned them out. I'm going to have Guardians of my Enduring Box and my Frozen Box, but all I know about them at the moment is that they'll both be male and will be from Zimbabwe and Russia respectively, and they too will be part of My Miracle Box AU.

Also while he's not an OC, I took the monk we see at the end of the New York special and developed him into a character for some future fics since we don't know much about him. Like in canon he's the Guardian of the Native American Box (the Direction Box in my headcanons). I have him wield the Bear of Preservation as Shashtsoh. I named him Dilwo'ii Yázhí, and he's Diné (Navajo). In My Miracle Box AU he is the only other survivor of the Order of the Guardians outside of Fu.

Finally I also have some next-gen kids as well who I plan on being holders. My Adrinette kids will be Emma, Jaden, Louis, and Ambre. DJWifi will have Shawn, Lilly, and Mya. There's also Harper, daughter of Chloe and Nathaniel (with Sabrina and Marc as step-parents), Acel the son of Juleka and Rose, and a few others as well. These guys will/have appeared in various fics of mine. :)

ML au idea: Miraculous Ladybug: Tales of Lady luck and Night Claw

Takes place 20+ years after the Events of Miraculous Ladybug.

The Heroes of Paris have Retired. Paris has been at peace for years now.

-This is where we meet Arianna Lahiffe, Daughter of one of the most influencial Reporter, Alya Cesaire (she kept her last name for branding reasons), and of a famous Film director Nino Lahiffe. She had been traveling the world with her parents, who have now decided to let her actually attend school like a normal kid. A girl with a mind that goes at a million miles a minute and a heart of gold.

-We also meet Louis Agreste-Dupain cheng, a sweet shy boy who is the son of the world famous Fashion designer Marinette Agreste Dupain-Cheng (yes she made sure to keep all her names). And of the Mayor of Paris, Adrien Agreste Dupain Cheng (Yes along with all his other names which I am NOT writing here)

-All seems fine until a burst of Magical threats have descended on Paris, the true reason why the Miraculous were created, to fight against the evil that plagues existence.

-This dark power appears to be able to manifest the dark desires of those it infects and needs to be purified.

-Marinette decides to call forth the heroes out of retirement, but the dark forces managed to catch her and the other heroes off guard! But do to quick thinking, Tikki and Plagg both escape with their miraculous and go off to find hosts! The Darkness took the other miraculous, and the Memories of the miraculous from the heroes!

-Tikki and Plagg need to find new heroes that can helps stop this mysterious evil

Perfect Paradise Ch.22: You're Not a Demon, There's a Reason You Behaved In That Way

Summary: Pain of yesterdays.

"I'll talk to him."

"M Dupain-Cheng..."

"...only twelve."

"This is a very serious..."

"...make sure he understands that."

Hugo tried not to fidget with his ear on the door to the principal's office. Their voices muffled, Hugo caught only snippets of their conversation. There was the sound of someone rising to their feet and Hugo sprang backwards into his chair.

The door opened and closed behind Papa. He gave Hugo an unreadable look. "C'mon."

Awkward silence swallowed most of the ride home. Papa's brow furrowed as his fingers fidgeted with the ring on his finger. Even Gregor was subdued as he drove. Guilt and apprehension twisting Hugo's stomach into knots.

Instead of sending Hugo to his room Papa went into their home gym. "Shoes off."

"Huh?"

"Shoes off," he repeated, following his own instruction and removing the tie and dress shirt too. Leaving just his undershirt. Papa walked towards the long mats Emma used to practice her fencing.

"Legs shoulder width apart. Left- er, right foot forward. Bend your knees. Arms up." Papa corrected Hugo's stance.

Hugo was too confused to question him.

"Now," Papa clapped his hands together and held up his palms. "Hit me."

Okay, not that confused. "What? No, that isn't..."

"Your stance is off again Hugo."

"This isn't how it goes!" Hugo protested.

"What, did you expect me to ground you for a month with no video games?"

"Well... yeah."

Papa nodded. "We can do that instead if you want."

"... No," Hugo said quietly.

Papa flexed his fingers.

Hugo pressed his lips together as he retook his stance. Taking a deep breath he threw a punch into Papa's calloused hands.

 "Again. And put your weight into it this time!"

Hugo obliged. For several minutes they just trained. Hugo threw a punch. Adrien caught it. Made some small correction to Hugo's technique. Repeat.

"... Shouldn't you be wearing something to protect your hands?" Hugo asked.

"You can't hurt me, Hugo." There was something about the way Papa said it that made color rise in Hugo's face.

Hugo stopped, eyes blinking rabidly as the heat in his chest tried to escape through his eyes.

Papa placed his hands over Hugo's shaking fists. "Will you tell me what's wrong?" Papa asked gently.

"... He called Maman a golddigger," Hugo said in a small voice, shoulders hunched. It wasn't the first thing the boy had said. Or even the worst thing he ever said. But it was what made Hugo snap.

Papa sighed and Hugo fought between shame and indignation. Why should some jerk be able to say whatever he wanted about Maman? Why wasn't he being punished? It wasn't fair!

"I know," Papa said, and for a second Hugo thought he'd spoken out loud. Papa's hands squeezed Hugo's, kneeling so he was no longer looming over Hugo. "I know it's not fair. I'm not going to tell you he didn't deserve it."

Hugo blinked in surprise.

"You've got a strong sense of justice. That says good things about your character. But it's not enough to be right, Hugo. You have to be smart about it too. And it's not worth hurting yourself to hurt him."

Hugo rubbed at his sore knuckles.

Papa's eyes caught the movement. "I don't mean just physically. I mean here," -he pointed at Hugo's chest- "here," -his head- "and here." Papa's finger hovered over the stickers on Hugo's sleeve before landing on the one with the school emblem.

Hugo scowled at that last one.

"If you can avoid antagonizing authority figures you can maneuver them into doing what you want," Papa explained. "And if you can't you make sure they regret it."

"... Aren't you supposed to tell me to respect authority figures?"

Papa blinked. "Why would I do that? People in authority need to earn your respect just like anyone else. More even."

Hugo said nothing but the shame slithering around his insides seemed to calm just a fraction.

Papa released Hugo's hands, rose to his feet and held out his palms again.

Grasping his invitation Hugo threw a punch and... It didn't connect. His fist stopped a hand span away from Papa's palm. Like he'd hit a pillow made of air. Hugo's eyes went wide.

"How- How did you do that!?"

Instead of answering the invisible force around Papa pushed out. Enveloping Hugo like a warm breeze. Buffeting him with... Love. Concern. Fear. Compassion. Pride. Anger. The bend and weave of it glided over Hugo's skin.

This time Hugo didn't try to stop the tears from falling. For a moment Hugo could see the green aura rising from patterns of flame on Papa's skin. Then he blinked and it was gone.

Papa's presence faded slowly from the air. "Anger is a very useful emotion. As long as you know how to control it. Direct it into something more."

Not trusting his voice Hugo nodded. Wiping at his eyes.

"Which means-" Papa placed a comforting hand on Hugo's shoulder "-for the next two weeks we're going to focus on your self control."

So they did. Papa ran Hugo through various exercises both physical and mental so he could bend without breaking. Taught Hugo how to choose his actions so he could win a fight without ever throwing a single punch. It became routine even after Hugo returned to school.

Only later did he realize Papa had talked the principal down to suspension instead of expulsion.

Silence echoed in the vast cavern. The shelves of books swallowing any sound as Adrien gazed down at his kids. Their expressions some combination of shock and disbelief.

Emma's body was limp on the couch. Not realizing her mouth was open. Next to her Louis bored a hole through the floor with his eyes as he hugged his knees to his chest. On his other side Hugo's face burned as his hands curled into fists.

Adrien resisted the urge to fiddle with his ring as the quiet stretched. The vice on his heart squeezing tighter and tighter in the endless seconds.

No warnings, alcohol consumption (a bit too much in this instance) fluff and crack

Every time you changed something about your appearance, no matter how small it was, no matter how many of your friends didn’t notice, Wakasa always did. Might be the slightest change in your hair or makeup, you’d always receive a "It suits you well" or "That’s a nice change". He would always carry that bored expression as he says it, as if he didn’t really care. But how would he notice such small details if he didn’t?

Of course he cared. He was your best friend after all. You called him that, others called you that, he called himself that. Even if those words left a bitter taste in his mouth. Yet he’d never act on it. He was content with what he had, content with the proximity you two shared. Even though he wanted more, he swallowed back all his feelings. Because Wakasa, as much as he didn’t like to admit it, was scared to lose you. So he swallowed back the lingering touches he wanted to give you, any comments that could appear as "too much", for the sake of your friendship. One he would continue to cherish, even if that meant settling for less than he wanted.

- "Come on, just one drink!"

You rolled your eyes. Currently, you were downplaying the invitation of your friend, really insistent to get you to drink with the small group tonight.

- "Dont insist, Omi… I have work tomorrow…"

It was Takeomi’s turn to roll his eyes.

- "Just live a little… beside…"

A small smirk appeared on his face. You were almost, almost curious as to what he was about to say.

- "I don’t believe you’ve ever seen Waka getting drunk…"

Your annoyed rambling about work stopped for a second. He was right, your best friend, the one you’ve known since so long… Have never been drunk in front of you. And you couldn’t deny that the thought made you curious. What kind of drunk was he? Emotional drunk? Tired drunk?.. Yeah, definitely that…

After a few seconds of thinking, you sighed, you couldn’t deny one drink sounded nice.

- "One drink…" You finally indulged, watching his smirk widen

- "You won’t regret it… it’s actually pretty fun to watch…"

On those words, you started walking toward the bar you often went at, where the others were probably already waiting.

And when Takeomi told you it would be fun to watch, you didn’t expect that. And based on his expression, he didn’t either.

You were trying to drink in your now half empty glass, but you found it difficult to do so, as a pair of strong arms were wrapped around your figure.

- "I’ve… never seen him like this before…" Stated Shinichiro, sitting across of you. In his eyes was a mixture of confusion and curiosity.

At this point, all the eyes around the table were on you, more precisely on the man clutching at your side. Wakasa Imaushi, the White Leopard, Black dragons founding member and first generation Special attack Unit captain, THE living legend… Clinging to you like a lost child.

- "N-No one- hic -can touch her… ‘xcept me…" He mumbled, eyes closed and face red from all the shots he had.

You were torn. You’ve never seen him like that, with you or with anyone. And your best friend being so clingy, so… touchy… felt weird. But at the same time… it wasn’t a bad kind of weird.

- Waka… I think I’ll drive you home…

As you muttered those words, you felt his grip tightening. Goddamnit was he strong. You winced slightly, trying to get him off, to no avail.

- "Can someone… Help me out here?.." you asked, a bit annoyed at the lack of reaction from your friends

The three guys exchanged looks, before looking back at you.

- "I mean… you heard him." Started Takeomi, a sly grin on his face

- "No one can touch you except him!" Finished Keizo, raising his hands to support his words

You rolled your eyes, hearing the three of them laughing like degenerates. Unbelievable.

You had to find something though. You wanted to go home, too. Yet it was proven difficult with the bag of muscles holding you tightly.

You sighed, looking at his slumped form, trying to find something to get him off.

- "… Hey Waka… Let’s go home, mhm?.." You tried to bargain, with seemingly no success.

- "N-Nah… M’staying… with you…" He mumbled, his speech almost incomprehensible.

You sighed sighed again. You definitely wanted to go home, getting a bit tired yourself.

- "… Wanna sleep at my place?.." You asked, as all eyes on the table landed on you, even his. You felt a need to denfend yourself to your peers.

- "N-Not like that! I’m not that kind of person!" You tried to defend yourself

- "That’s really inappropriate. I wouldn’t have taken you for the type…" Teased the black haired mechanic, a cigarette dangling from his lips.

- "Mhmm… Take me home, love…"

Your eyes widened, as everyone else’s. You looked down at your lap, eyes landing on a very sleepy Waka, nuzzling your thigh.

- "… Yeah, I’ll take him home… He’s… not in his right mind…" You muttered, trying to calm the emotions he provoked by calling you that.

- "Heh, you know what they say… A drunk man’s words is a sober man’s thoughts!"

You glared at Takeomi, who was laughing his ass off with your other friends. They wouldn’t let that die down easily…

You called a cab, trying to walk with a grown ass man clutched at your hip. Quite a humorous sight, really.

The drive wasn’t long thankfully, and you managed to drag the drunk man in your bed. You were too tired to do anything else, crashing on the mattress next to his unconscious form. You were about to fall asleep, when his voice caught your attention.

-" ‘Meant it, y’know… I don’t… wanna be your friend… wanna be more…"

You listened to his drunken confession, your own eyes fighting to stay open and focused on his relaxed face.

- "Wanna… hold you and… do shit couples do, I dunno…"

A small silence followed his words, lingering in the air. You looked at him one last time, before your eyes closed on their own.

- "G’night, Waka…"

The only answer you received was the sound of his slow breathing and light snores. You would deal with that tomorrow…

- "Hey, "love"! Mind grabbing me a beer?" Teased a certain black haired man, as your now boyfriend was glaring at him, fighting the urge to smash his head on the coffee table.

- "Takeomi I swear to god…" He warned, pinching the bridge of his nose as you let out a small chuckle.

He could now hold you, kiss you, and do plenty of other shit couples do.

Monster AU

Basically take Canon and replace Quirks with everyone being some kind of monsterous species! Jokingly called the 'Monster High AU' because the kids are going to monster high school.

Does have some funky character dynamics due to the lack of Quirks and Heroes and the system as a whole.

Amnesia!Dabi:

When Toya/Dabi wakes up in a sketchy clinic, he doesn't remember jack shit and runs for it. Thus fucking up all of AfO's plans. Even when Dabi does join the LoV (out of the assumption he must've been a villain before and wanting some ability to maybe discover who he was), he's not as useful because he doesn't remember any of his problems.

He starts remembering some things during the Forest Training Camp/Hideout Raid arc and after everything goes to shit he decides to grab Himiko(basically adopted her as a little sister) and book it once again, ending up turning them both over to the Heroes and finding out who he was.

Various shenanigans of Dabi reconnecting to a family he doesn't remember(thankfully in this au they're already in therapy) and also them leaving gets the rest of the LoV to fracture and further fuck up AfO's plans.

Vigilante au

Izuku turns down All Might's offer and becomes a vigilante instead. Intends to infiltrate the LoV to take it down from the inside, but finds out AfO is his dad and uh. Time to collect that inheritance! Jokes aside, Izuku kills AfO and takes over his criminal empire, but shuts everything down and gets the LoV running as a vigilante squad instead.

Also Himiko gets OfA because Izuku helps her get her life together and yeets her at All Might.

Villain?Izuku

Dad for One au! Technically all of these are DfO AUs. But in this one, AfO finds out about Izuku's existence. He plays a normal parent for a while but kidnaps Izuku when the boy is about 7-8.

Izuku is treated kinda like Yoichi 2.0. AfO takes care of him well, but he's not allowed to leave. He's not fully 'in the vault' yet as Izuku is still young enough to be relatively obedient, but he's getting older and more defiant.

Izuku and Katsuki never had a falling out because Izuku knows he inherited his father's Quirk. Thus she is devastated when he's kidnapped and actually went to therapy. Then ofc later (probs during the Shie Hassaikai arc), they run into each other and Katsuki kidnaps him back and refuses to let go.

Dark Comedy

Due to *gestures to above tag*, Enji commits some very justified murder. But in getting an alibi for said murders, he ends up having to pretend he's been having an affair.

This au swings wildly between taking a dark subject seriously, and the comedic shenanigans of everyone trying not to get caught. This the name 'Dark Comedy'. It is very full of tonal whiplash. I am saying this as a warning because it is NOT for everyone but I do promise that the genuine dark stuff is taken seriously it's just the other stuff that gets wild.

LoV Babies

A handful of members of the LoV, and also Hawks because ofc he got dragged in, get hit with a Quirk that de-ages them. They de-aged both physically and mentally, now fully believing they're the age they were turned to. Only able to turn back once they confront the childhood trauma they're about to face.

Kurogiri is now a 17 year old Oboro. Dabi is now a 5 year old Toya, yapping nonstop about his dad. Tomura is now a young Tenko, wondering where his family is. Hawks is now an itty bitty Keigo, an absolute cryptid child. Himiko, the only one who doesn't have a name change of these fuckers, is very small and oh so nervous about fighting the instincts of her 'monsterous' Quirk.

Naturally Oboro yoinks the kindergartners away from the LoV and to UA which. Causes even more shenanigans.

Mistaken Spirit

Crossover/Isekai into ATLA.

Post-redemption-arc, Enji gets yeeted into the ATLA world during the first half of Book 3. The locals mistake him for a Spirit of Fire, and he's invited to the Fire Nation Palace as an honored guest of the Fire Lord.

Enji can't help but see similarities to his own family, even if Ozai is far more monstrous than even at his worst. So he decides to do something about it.

Toxicitry, serperior, gothitelle, mismagius, and liepard for the twins, plus kingambit for kagami! Rose i only picked one pokemon for her (since not everyone will be a trainer but all will have a partner pokemon), munna! I swear i randomly remembered it exists while looking thru each gen's pokemon and it was TOO PERFECT!! Like pink vaguely pig shaped pokemon who can project dreams?!! Tell me thats not Daizzi

why dont you like futaba/gen?

A lot of the persona 5 characters, while colorful and anime-archetype-y- do have a grounded-ness to them- they all have very real issues and very real skillsets... and While characters like Yuuske and Makoto (even Ren, depending on how you play him) could be considered prodigies and/or excel in their fields, Futaba stands out and further forward in terms of that. An infinately brilliant hacker that can basically pull miracles out of their computer? Just as brilliant as Makoto in terms of reasoning and problemsolving? She's mean and "Sassy" which really steps on Mona and Ryuji's area and is later pulled as empathetic like Ann.

I'm only a few steps into Palace 5 and already she annoys me from a character implementation standpoint. Instead of her worrying, it should be Ann. Instead of her figuring out what happened, it should have been Makoto or Yuuske.

Her persona is wild in the sense that it feels really... reductive comparative to the others. the "Wow! a persona as a vehicle!" factor from Makoto is absolutely trashed and outshone by Futaba's giant UFO persona. IDK it feels wrong.

Even her character design doesn't match the others. All of them have a.. tangibility. They all look like stylish thieves- even Ann, who does vary... is based off Catwoman! Yet Futaba doesn't mach any of them! Giant goggles, giant shoes. OK astro boy.

She doesn't fit in that brand of "Silly" that P5 has cultivated for me so far. In a game where there is a bobbleheaded cat that fights demons in clown castles, She feels like a cartoon character. Hell, I'd even say that she feels less like a character and more like a... tool. a plot device.

Persona also suffers from severe anime brainrot- and thats bad when she's so little sister coded, which would be fine if you squint... if she wasn't also a romancible character with unavoidable scenes. I KNOW she's the same age/ish as the others but she's also insanely immature, framed as childish, and is literally described as frail. She needs vitamin D and iron supplements stat.

...and for the most part I have been able to grit my teeth through that anime brainrot because it's been offering a really great story with really amazing characters. When Ren looses some of his personality to "Stoic Anime Protag brainrot" or they do something fuckin' weird with the girls as eyecandy. It's fine, it's whatever. But Futaba... she's.. something else. UGH wish I could put it in WORDS.

She's becoming more tolerable the further in I go to the next palace' storyline, but thats because she's not as relevant anymore to make way for the new girl (who I havent met yet but I like her a lot already) so I know it's not.. my ML-induced phobia of character bloat.

...and please don't try and explain her actions cause of her backstory, im talking from a character design and implementation angle. I think.. I think I'd like her more if she was an exterior member of the thieves, an actual child, and slightly less prodigy-ish.

A cool breeze fluttered past and Emma shivered as her body remembered the bone deep chill from the Sea of Sino.

Neon signs turned on as the sun set. A waxing crescent visible in the darkening sky. Apparently "null time" didn't mean a stop to the progression of events. She rubbed her temples. Metaphysics made her head hurt.

So distracted from the overload of information was she that Emma didn't see the other girl until they all but crashed into each other.

"Oh! Sorry, I- Izel!? What're you doing here? And why are you in a mariachi suit?"

Izel stared at her like a deer in the headlights, mouth hanging open. Her eyes flicked from Emma to Morgana and back again. "... It's a charro suit actually."

Emma took in her best friend's guilty expression, the various herbs she held under one arm, and the faint glow from her bronze boots. "Oh, you jerk!" Emma punched her in the arm.

"Ow," Izel winced not even trying to dodge her. "I deserved that."

"Prefer 'bruja' to be honest." Izel rubbed at her arm.

She laughed without humor. "When one of my friends showed a real gift for magic I pushed her into it... She wasn't ready. No, more than that she didn't want to. Magic scared her."

Unbidden, Emma thought of the frightening things her visions had shown her. "I can imagine," Emma said softly.

"I didn't want to lose another friend," Izel sniffed.

"..." Emma pulled Izel into a hug.

"What's this?"

"Looked like you needed it."

Izel snorted but returned the hug. "Sorry my baggage kept me from helping you. I've never told anyone else about it."

"I'll make it up to you."

"You better."

They pulled apart and gave small relieved laughs as the tension eased.

Morgan whispered something to herself. The sound soothing people's curiosity so their gaze slid over the two girls. The nearby market still drawing a crowd even this late in the day.

"Oh, right! Izel this is..." Emma noticed the golden armor was gone and the person in front of her had changed back. A woman a decade or so younger than Maman. "... Morgan. My mentor...ish."

Izel's eyes widened. "I think I prayed to you once."

Morgan arched an eyebrow. "You're thinking of the Morrígan. She is Irish, I... am not."

"Right, right." Izel kept staring at Morgan, awestruck.

Emma rolled her eyes. "Anyway, are you staying at the Lighthouse?"
