There's actually not much lore, just general lore: Usually, all Xiaolin Masters are allicorns, and, for fair training and humbleness, they keep their wings tied down.

They aren't all necessarily ponies, since guan is a draft horse and dashi is... long (longhorse? hi?)

And hey, Guan's horn is revested with something, huh? who knows, more on it soon

What is pony!jack's backstory in mlp xs au? Is he an evil pony genius? Does he want to take over the pony world and if yes, then why?

He is and he does, for the same reasons as Canon!Jack does/because he wants to prove himself to be the most powerful pony in the world. Thing is, he's an earth pony, his mom is a pegasus and his father is a unicorn, they were an arranged marriage that, in the best possible outcome, planned to have a naturally born alicorn, or, in the worst, a pegasus or a unicorn, ends up they got neither, and as Jack grew older, they dissapointment didn't get any less obvious.

Because of that, Jack made himself some wings (so he could fly around like a pegasus, but it turns out you need some practice to use those) and makes gadgets so he can simulate magic, that's why he became a Chase Young fanboy, since Chase was also an earth pony before becoming an alicorn (little does he know Chase doesn't like when Jack brings that up).

His father sent the box in which Wuya's spirit was (a pony mask, I haven't made art for that yet-) in hopes that she would either make him powerful or take him out, but-- eh

I have a question regarding mlp xs au! What are pony!chase's powers? And more importantly what event triggered the transformation of good!pony!chase?

What are pony!chase's powers?

Pretty much all of the generic Alicorn powers from MLP, plus elemental manipulation, and turning into a dragon! He has some changelings habilities, but, since the pony Lao Mang Lone (now with more wheat) didn't completely change his species, just allicorned him up, he can, again, only turn into a dragon.

Good!Pony!Chase was an earth pony before he became evil, and while he wasn't particularly upset about it, he was very underestimated by the other pony monks -- since there were little earth ponies at the temple before the modern days, he, Dashi and Guan were the only ones, but when Guan and Dashi managed to become alicorns, like the other Xiaolin Dragons, and he didn't, he started to get frustrated.

Hannibal did the same manipulating as he did with Canon!Chase, and lo and behold! Evil Little Guy.
