So I came up with an idea for a Xiaolin Showdown Au that involved Miraculous Ladybug. It was mostly an excuse to draw Raikim and cute outfits 😭

Xiaolin Showdown au where Jack's evil genius thing is just a larp-like act he puts extreme effort into and he fully knows it's just a fun thing he does to stave off his loneliness, just normal-er Jack au. But when he opens Wuya's puzzlebox she sees all this shit and assumes Jack is onto world domination too and asks for his assistance. Jack goes along with it cause he's scared of what she could do if he refused. Yeah sure she has no body, but what if she posseses him or haunts him or something? He'll figure it out eventually.

Cue him running into the monks and the whole thing plays out similar to canon, as well as Jack getting some more context to his situation. After the Eye of Dashi encounter he manages to hack into Kimiko's PDA and they have a little "friendly" chat where Jack manages to convince them he's just going along with what Wuya told him cause he doesn't know how to deal with her or if she's dangerous. After getting explained that she is powerless in this form Jack is ready to tell her to scram until Raimundo comes up with an idea. Wuya could always find someone with actual nefarious intentions. Since Jack's, by his own admisdion, just putting on a show, he can keep Wuya in check and prevent her from rising to power by pretending to be on her side. Jack, not having much else to do, and finding the prospect of going on adventures and doing something that can almost be consideted hanging out with friends really nice, agrees.

Xiaolin Showdown but the conflict between the monks and Jack is just pretend. That's it.

They secretly meet up to discuss stuff, Jack gradually learns how to socialize and gets friends. Yeah!

So XS idea of Jack being not just Wuya's descendant but Dashi and Wuya's descendant. At first it's revealed Dashi has a descendant and everyone turns to look at Omi other than Chase who is offended as excuse you that's his kid-APPRENTICE his apprentice and he is far better than Dashi how dare you lower his little one to that idiots level.

It bring reveled it's Jack and not only is he Dashi's...he's Wuya's. Wuya is just there silently screaming.

A lot of people are like How? WTF. Chase takes one look at Jack thinks back to Dashi and Wuya and be like 'All this information does is give context to your idiocy this isn't a shock.'

Wuya is just wondering how she never realized before, all the inventions, stupid plans, breaking the timeline... also if Dashi had been able to he totally would have made robots to fight for him so he could nap longer... at least he got her desire for world domination.

Only when Jack become dragon of metal and is super competent, like as soon as he has the other dragons as friends supporting him and encouragement/guidance with his metal powers he is stupidly strong and all the other enemies are like '... ah...that checks out'

Jack:Oh man if I wasn't a good guy now i'd be so easy to take over the world

Kimiko: I know right

Raimundo: Yeah I mean without Wu

Clay:...how much are y'all thinking about this?

Omi: I don't but Chase gave me pointers

Dojo just nearly always hanging around Jack and him bemoaning like 'How did I not know you were related to him your creations have tried to eat me at least twice it's so obvious'

Just Dojo Jack team up and both still hiding behind Clay if anything goes down because crazy powerful or not Jack is still Jack.

Jack starts calling Wuya grandma, she hates it so much but she can't actually argue

Bonus idea if Dashi had seen Jack while in spirit form after Rai pens puzzle box and he's like great great great grandson! Awww look you got Wuya's hair, Wuya do you see this? Aww this is awesome. The monks are just WTF and Wuya is despairing and just like 'Please just seal me back in the puzzle box now please'

Splintered timeline au stuff out of context

This is Jack but in casual/civilian clothes, cause them not giving us that + Jack with his hair down is a crime. Yes it is supposed to slightly resemble the monk robes in pallete.

Let's pretend it's an alternate reality in which little Omi is raised by the Spicers. Omi is 4-5 years old now and 10-year-old Jack helps him to learn English.

Jack: Alright, Omi. You know how to say 'bird' and yesterday I taught you about bird species. So, how about we go outside for you to practice naming them?

Omi: yyyyyyees!!! :D

Jack, pointing at a crow: Let's start with something easy. Call this birdie!

Omi, clearly having difficulties saying anything, stuttering: Erm um eagl- cr croo???

Jack: It's ok, buddy. Take your time.

Omi, getting angrier at himself because he can't make himself clear: HMPF!

Jack,taking Omi by the hand so they could move forward: Don't worry, you'll get it next time.

Omi, out of a sudden: HALLOWEEN EAGLE!

Jack, taken aback: That... was NOT what I was expecting.

Omi, getting embarrassed by his mistake: Um... I'm sorry.

Jack: What!? Don't be! In fact, you came up with something cool. I LOVE IT! From now on, crows are Halloween eagles for me.

Omi, his eyes almost glowing: Really!?

Jack, rubbing Omi's head: Sure, you did! Hey, let's go over there! Maybe we'll find more Halloween Eagles!

I love the idea of an AU where Jack stops chasing Wu and just takes over the world without it.

No one really cares that he stops coming to showdowns (other than Omi) then BOOM he's on every TV as king of the world.

The Monks are just like ohhhh we fucked up huh.

Jack gets his like megamind moment of winning and does evil robot overlord stuff in empty streets.

Meanwhile the Monks and temple are freaking out over like what to do as it's not technically WU/Destiny magical stuff related.

They probably end up teaming up with some of the villains (I don't imagine Chase would enjoy Jack ruling the world- but the again maybe he would see it as positive, because itd be easier to take over?)

Then Jack gets his ass kicked and/or gets bored of all the paper work involved in government and everything goes back to the status quo.
