Hello, hello!

Welcome to the blog, we're still around!

The main focus is Kingdom Hearts, including the mobile games, but we also take asks for TWEWY/NEO and FF15. As usual, it's yours truly -Mod Demyx- running things around here, feel free to use any pronouns and nicknames when addressing me, it's all chill!

I won't write: matchups, anything regarding rape or self-harm, pregnacy, explicit NSFW.

I will write: Yandere and other dark content, AUs (here's a little list of media I'm familiar with for specific AUs!), platonic and romantic interactions. Continuations of previous works, in-depth analysis of characters, etc. Basically, free real estate!

I.

Askbox will always remain open! You're all welcome to drop by for chitchat, to drop prompts, theories, heartcanons... And remember, this blog is not spoiler free! Asks are not answered in order, I generally go straight for those who catch my eye and delete those I don't want to reply.

II.

This blog takes requests for all KH games! But please, specify which version of the character you'd like for me to write, such as using their proper names (ie: Isa, instead of Saix) and from the specific game (ie: BbS Isa, KH3 Isa). Otherwise, I'll write for their most recent versions! You're also welcome to request for TWEWY/NEO TWEWY, plus Final Fantasy 15! I've decided to drop FF7 and it's remake due to lack of interest on those games from my part.

III.

Reader based prompts will always use gender neutral pronouns and be as vague as possible, so that everyone can feel included. The only exception to this are LGTBQ+ prompts (ie: Larxene comforting a dysphoric S/O, Sora reacting to you coming out as a lesbian, etc) Any requests asking for general female or male readers will be ignored and deleted!

IV.

When requesting a specific type of reader, please refrain from using characters from other media as reference (ie: a reader who acts like Nagito Komaeda from Danganronpa). I'm not in every fandom, nor I know every character ever, or what traits you're hoping to see - it's much easier if you describe exactly what you're looking for! Don't be afraid to send two asks if it's too long.

V.

You can request up to 6 characters per ask! The only exception to this is the Organization XIII, because I love them to death! The length of the post varies and depends on inspiration and number of characters!

VI.

You're free to send in your own [Heartcanons] - a cute term for KH headcanons about the game and characters. To diferentiate them from general chitchat, make sure to add [Heartcanon] at the beginning of the ask! These will be queued and post on Mondays, if there's any left around in the askbox! I also invite people to go feral discussing, rambling and even adding to our posts with your reblogs or in the replies! It's so fun to get together and talk about these blorbos!

1. That's tough because I go back and nail the same ones nowadays but the first try, Xigbar, Xaldin and Demyx were the big three intimidators

2. Honestly the first that came to mind was Tarzan.

3. Tarz- I mean, Jane- I mean- Kairi- I mean Aqu- I mean Nami- I mean well, I'm a sucker for just about any female KH character (except Larxene)

19. I've used Bambi most technically because I did a grind on KH1 Normal mode to get the parts for the Ultima Weapon (I chose the wrong weapon at the beginning) so I was basically too buff to use it by the point I actually had the weapon, HA.

20. Gonna take this as KH4 now, really, KH3 answered everything I needed in terms of worlds, whatever Nomura chooses, I won't complain. Atlantis would be nice but I'm not going to ask for it. Oswald is still wanted but I understand if he's not included this far into the series.

Will probably gently take your chin so he can tilt your head upwards and give you a kiss

Okay, first of all, you better try to catch him when he’s not busy working

Because otherwise, chances are he won’t even notice you being there until after you’re done

But let’s assume you make sure he actually pays attention; he’s definitely going to listen until you’re done

If you’re a couple or he at least has a crush on you, he’ll definitely appreciate it, though he doesn’t quite get it

But while he doesn’t quite get that kind of stuff, he knows it’s a way to express affection

Now, if he doesn’t particularly care for you - especially pre-Heartgrowth - he’s just… Not going to care about it at all

Silent until you’re done singing

It’s always hard to tell what Lexaeus is thinking, but he’s definitely listening

If you’re a couple, he’ll pick you up and kiss you. Might even thank you for singing for him

He’s very perceptive, but only mediocre at reading people in general - Which means that, if you’ve spent enough time together before, he can tell if this is your way of confessing or if you just want to share the song

In that case, if he has a crush on you, he’ll tell you how he feels

If he doesn’t, he’ll say that while he’s flattered, he doesn’t return your feelings

Now, if you haven’t spent enough time together, he can’t tell why you’re singing

If he doesn’t have romantic feelings, he’ll most likely just nod to acknowledge the song, then leave and/or do something else

If he does have a crush on you, he’ll tell you it’s a nice song, and wait a moment to see if you are going to say anything about it to give him a hint

If you don’t, he decides that now is as good a moment as any to confess, and he’ll tell you that he has feelings for you

Zexion

If he doesn’t have any kind of strong feelings towards you, he just ignores you and goes on about his day

You can stand there and sing. None of his business.

If you’re friends, he’ll at least acknowledge your existance and listen, though he won’t really comment on it

If he has a crush on you, he stops dead in his tracks to look at you while you sing

He’s happy, but just... Doesn’t know how to react. Was it serious? Did you just want to show off that new song you learned?

Might even blush, but he won’t comment much. Maybe “nice song”, but he might also say nothing

If you’re a couple, he’s grinning ear to ear when he hears you sing

It’s seriously rare to see him like this, but even though he doesn’t really get how he’s able to feel, he obviously does, at least sometimes, and especially when you’re nearby

If the two of you are alone, he might even hug you and tell you that yes, he is yours

Saix

Well, if Saix has no romantic feelings for you, he’ll probably just blow you off as soon as you start and tell you to get back to work, or that he’s busy

It’d be really, really hard for him to admit he’s got a crush, since, you know. No Heart, not supposed to have feelings.

So if he has one but you‘re not together yet, he lets you finish, but he doesn’t really listen

Not even because he’s a jerk, but simply because he’s trying to figure out why it almost feels like he’s happy, why he’s blushing ever so slightly, because none of that makes sense

Once you’re done, he just tells you something like “That was nice, I suppose, but I assume you have something better to do.”

(If he had a better grasp on his emotions he’d be thrilled though)

If you are a couple, he listens with a smile; once you’re done, he might even sweep you up bridal style if you’re alone

“I’m yours already, and I’d hope you’re mine as well.”

Axel

Axel is pleasantly surprised

If you’re a couple already, he’ll kiss you when you sing it - First after “Kiss me once”, and if you manage to keep going regardless, then twice after “Kiss me twice”, etc

If he’s got a crush on you, then you’ll get to see him blush

And afterwards, he pulls you close

“I’ll be yours if you’ll be mine.”

If he doesn’t have any romantic feelings for you, he just tells you something like “Nice song” or “You have a nice voice” after you’re done, but he doesn’t really react to the lyrics

Music is kinda his thing in general, so he’s definitely happy!

He might ask you if you have the sheet music for it so he can learn it on sitar

He will definitely listen quietly until you’re done

If you’re a couple already, he’ll probably hug you and kiss you (three times) afterwards

If not, he might just ask if being yours means you’ll be responsible for his work

Although if he has a crush on you, you’ll probably still get at least a hug. (But seriously, about his work load…)

Will definitely listen until you’re finished

He’s good at reading people, so he’ll know if you’re trying to tell him you have a crush on him, or if you just like the song; in the latter case, he’ll compliment you or the song, and that’s that

In the former, if he doesn’t have romantic feelings for you, he’ll somewhat gently let you down

If you’re a couple or he has a crush on you, he invites you to his room for some games

This being Luxord, accept at your own risk - He may not cheat, but he is ridiculously lucky. That said, there’s almost always something very nice to win when you play against him...

Well, if Marly has a crush on you, you’ve probably gotten more than a few flowers from him; in that case, the song might just be your way of replying

And if so, he’ll know it

He waits for you to finish the song, then pulls you in close for a kiss

If he doesn’t have any romantic feelings, he’ll at least let you finish the song

“I apologize, but I won’t ‘be yours’.“

You might find a few flowers symbolizing things like comfort or apologies a while later (But the mod doesn’t know enough about flower language to tell you which flowers those are)

Larxene

Like, she knows what that song is (She didn’t instantly end up a Nobody after she lost her memories, after all), but it’s just so not her thing

And if she doesn’t particularly care about you, she just interrupts you to tell you she doesn’t care

If she sees you as a friend, she at least lets you finish. If she’s in a good mood, you might even get a compliment like “Nice song, I guess”

If she has romantic feelings for you - whether that’s a crush or being a couple - you probably won’t get to finish the song

During “Kiss me twice” at the latest, Larxene kisses you on the lips - Kinda hard to sing like that

Kinda confused

No-one really took the time to explain stuff like love or relationships or kisses to him, and he doesn’t have any memories to rely on

All he knows is the bits and pieces he heard on missions, or from other members (Luxord telling stories of some kind or another, what he heard in Beast’s Castle, etc)

So he knows what kisses are, and what “be mine” means, but it’s still kinda… Strange for him

“That’s a love song, right?”

If you answer that yes, it is, and confess that you kinda have a crush on him, he’d kiss you (and then be unsure how to continue)

If you just say yes, he might just… Take that in as New Information and that’s it, though he might also ask why you’re singing it to him

Uh... Good luck trying to explain love to her. (Explaining romantic attraction is pretty hard, tbh, since it’s one of Those Things that everyone takes for granted)

Especially since yes, she also means why you sang it to her - She might’ve heard about the concept of “love” before, but she just can’t quite place it, especially not the distinction between romantic love and friendship

If you explain to her you sang it because you have a crush on her, and if she feels the same (or, well, if she feels like what you explained), she’ll tell you. And then probably rely on whatever books she might’ve read and try to give you a kiss.

What were your thoughts on the ending to kingdom hearts 3? Were you satisfied with it, or were you expecting more? Well you can't really expect anything with the series but still😅 and also do you follow the plot on the kingdom hearts app with the unions and stuff? I hear that's getting an update soon. It ties into the main kh game from what I can tell, it's just sometimes hard to follow it all sometimes cause it's so much plot going on.

if you're talking abt KHUX then the whole story was finished and the app was terminated last year and it broke me entirely bc I forgot to befriend all the ppl I met in the guild BUT if you're talking abt Dark Road then I think we're getting an update soon yeah!

I've been into KH since I was like super young so honestly, at this point the confusion and frustration of trying to piece everything together is part of the fun bc we all know this shit isnt gonna end, so might as well enjoy the ride lmfaooo like its all super ridiculous in retrospect but I'm STILL gonna get the shivers during Donald's zettaflare moment or tear up everytime I see one of the openings

as for the ending of KH3 well I duNNO, IM SUPER CONFLICTED

cause obviously I love that everyone's happy chilling being friends, that a lot of loose ends were finally tied up and a lot of connections were made (scala ad caelum being daybreak town made me SHIT like THAT WAS SO GOOD) or that some mysteries were revealed or are close to being revealed, it had REALLY good scenes for some characters like Terra showing tf up and promising to set things right or Ansem SoD and Xemnas' deaths being SO FUCKING. EMOTIONAL. REALLY LIKE THOSE TWO ARE THE MOST MEMORABLE SCENES FOR ME, it actually felt more satisfying to say goodbye to Ansem SoD and watch Riku talk to him than seeing Xehanort fuck off into heaven with Eraqus and ofc, the sexiest reveal of the entire saga with Luxu/Xigbar

but then I hated that a big chunk of the actual plot was hidden behind a DLC bc I insist that Re:Mind feels like it shouldve all been part of the base game. that a lot of the sass and snark some characters actually had was just toned tf down to the point where they felt like generic nice NPCs bc "they cant be sassy, theyre good anime guys!" - which some can argue that it's the characters growing up and becoming more mature but to me it doesn't feel like that in the slightest?? The main event of the entire game and ending, defeating Xehanort, just felt rlly fast and eh to me, it had this vibe of Nomura being tired of Xehanort's arc want wanting to get it over with fast bc he realized he could just insert Versus XIII into KH. Kairi is still just kinda there bonding with literally ANYONE but Sora unless its convenient so that one super cool battle with her and Sora vs Xehanort didn't hit as hard imo

so tl:dr : it was fun and like everything in the entire franchise, it could've been better!

funny you ask that because i had an entire debate with myself when revamping the blog because i had a horrible twisted wonderland & project sekai brainrot a few months ago

and then i was like "nah, i should keep this entire blog squeenix related since the focus is kh" and now theres a little note on my desk that keeps reminding me to make a blog for twst, genshin or borderlands. or hades game. or the arcana. or ava's demon even though its not a game.................... but im super afraid of my writing getting repetitive lolol

You excited for the new kingdom hearts 4 coming out soon? Not sure what direction they are gonna go with it, but maybe we'll be able to see cloud again and maybe even some new final fantasy characters join in the game. And hey! Sora's even got new shoes that aren't too big for once 😂 what worlds do you want to see be apart of the game? I know it's not a popular movie, but I personally want to see treasure planet be apart of the game! I think it's right up sora's ally. It has pirates and a flying boat, they're traveling the galaxy, and they also throw in some advanced tech in it, that's like a million things in one world 🌎

the only FF games i'm actually invested in are FFX (but I have zero interest in writing for it) and FFXV (which is already on the list) so it depends on how obsessed i get with the remakes lmfao

like, i DO HAVE THE FFVII REMAKE, i literally bought it when it came out but i never got around to finishing it bc i wasn't interested enough. i might give it another chance with rebirth just around the corner tho !

Ya, I agree, Xion's data fight is REALLY hard. The initial data fights are significantly easier. I spent 3 hours today going back and forth between her and the old man trying to beat them and miserably failed in every attempt. The first time I did Xion's, I was so happy and impressed, I just watched as she smacked Sora around.

Xion confirmed for smash, anyone ? 

but for real though, now I wish we got to play as her cause I saw the videos of her fight and oh man imagine ,,,,, Xion rights,,,,,
