Friends, folks, pals, chums, the Lodgetember team is proud to announce the 2024 calendar… DRUM ROLL PLEASE!!!

Just found out that the people who moderate collections can see who a fic is posted by even if it is also in the anonymous collection. I have some anon fics in your Whumptober collections and I just wanted to make sure that you would never do something like reveal who wrote an anonymous fic, right?

We would never reveal the identities of people who have posted anonymously.

Besides, I wouldn't even know where to begin. As far as I can see from my end, anon authors in the collection still come up as anonymous.

Ito... what can I say about Ito, she is simply iconic, someone daring and a counselor

I love her character, she was someone that we would not believe would have so much importance but now she is integrating with Rachel and Jasper and that. It's just fantastic

Lodgetember day 4: Ito!

Her information: Ms. Ito is a trans (MTF) Japanese, junior neo-alchemist, she's one of the main lodgers we see more than often! She can be kind, caring, cold, and bold when she needs to be, and lends quite the helping hand to Jasper when he really needs it the most. Ito seems like one of the lodgers who is closest to Jekyll, especially since she's one of the handful of lodgers to first be accompanied with the Society.

Reblogging/queueing takes literally 10 seconds. It only takes 40 minutes to reblog EVERY whumptober post everyday. 10 minutes a day if you have four people reblogging yet I see the same damn creators get reblogged.

If I knew this will be a mess I would’ve volunteered lol, I do have 10-15 minutes a day to help the community feel appreciated.

It’s discouraging when you spend WEEKS writing and your post gets forgotten with 0 notes.

Ok anon, I've had enough of this. We are working hard to make this event fun and all you can think of to do is complain. Yes reblogging one post can only take a few seconds, but that time builds up over the hundreds of posts we see coming in everyday. We don't expect people to spend their whole day searching the tags for every single post, and if they did, someone would still be bound to be missed anyway. We do this for fun in our free time. We don't have to reblog at all if we didn't want to.

Yes, by all means you could have signed up to help, but you didn't, so stop complaining about those that did volunteer their time to give back to the community and help us run the event.

We have said from the start that we cannot guarantee you will get reblogged, and that we will not reblog every post. It sucks to not get any notes, I truly know how that feels, but if you are doing this just for notes then maybe you have forgotten why this event exists in the first place.

We have also said that if you get missed, you are by all means welcome to send your post in for us to reblog it if it means that much to you. Maybe we could also check your tags to see you are tagging correctly.

So now that we have art of the Companions & whatnot, we might wanna consider a new icon! 🤩

I wish people read the gen 1 character bios more. They're almost certainly not cannon and had a lot of typos, so they were probably written and released pretty quickly. But for the characters that don't get much screen time they offer some fun characterization.

Apparently Katie and Sadie are obsessed with the 80s (which makes their outfits make soooo much sense, they're kids in 2007 trying to approximate 80s fashion.) Also Katie sews their clothes herself so they can match? Adorable! They make and sell home made ice cream? Also adorable!

Meanwhile Ezekiel's is WILD. It says he never sees real kids his age and is "used to the 3D ones he sees on TV" which... I don't even know where to start with the world-building implications of that. Also he wasn't just homeschooled he was kept away from people altogether... and also sunlight? And him saying something horrible out of nowhere is apparently not a one time thing for him, he did to two kids at a spelling bee too? And he speaks 8 languages????
