FAMILY DAYS before the BABY COMES... We wanted to enjoy some family time together and take my mom out before the baby comes as I'll be having a c-section plus some things are harder with a newborn. So we went to one of our favorite beaches in this natural reserve close to Cape Canaveral. I love a wavy ocean and beaches with very few people, no music... I like to feel nature. I loved being able to disconnect while hearing the sound of the ocean and just staring at it. I also loved messing up with David who is terrified of the waves. Plus, my allergies got so much better by going there... Now on the way back... I thought we'd end up in the hospital... contractions were long and hard and very close to each other... I definitely can't spend much time in the car now. Anything over 15-20 minutes is a chance of contractions. I guess we're getting closer. I'm just glad we were able to do this today. I needed it mentally and was a nice family moment for all. What did you do this weekend? . . .
