Thank you @mrcrow for your donation to UNWRA!
Fun fact: Quaker parrots (or monk parakeets, Myiopsitta monachus) are one of only two parrot species that build their nests out of sticks and plant material, rather than using a tree hollow.

Monk parakeet risograph! Lots of misalignment in this one due to how I prepared the layers (light boxes do not shine well through watercolor paper), but I’m honestly a fan of that look so ¯\_(ツ)_/
4 color print with yellow, fluorescent pink, purple, and blue <3

I feel bad for not posting as much so i am going to show u guys 2 birbs i saw some days ago (i am not my father so the photos arent going to be as good but, hope you enjoy it anyway:) )
Here we have a bird we call "Bem-te-vi" in Brazilian Portuguese, they are very common here but they can also be seen around Latin America (English name: Great Kiskadee). Bem-te-vi is a popular bird around here, and they can be easily identified
the ones i saw seems to be younger, i saw many of its species close to eachother and i think they were still learning how to fly (they were safe so i didn't want to bother them! I only took pictures)
Bem-te-vi are called like this in Brazil due to singing, some say it sounds like it's saying it's own name
Now, i saw another bird but i have to warn that, unfortunately because of how high up they were, and how they were in a weird angle for me to take pictures in, the photos are a little crappy.

This my friends is a Caturrita, (monk parakeet), i have.. never seen one before out in the trees so i was surprised, but it was cool to see one anyway! You can't see in the pic, but this bird bas a green coloring, white belly and blue tail
There were ducks near the lake and i couldn't get any closer without falling in or having one of them bite my ass
