Null and/or D-13 (your choice) for the character thing.
I’ll do BOTH of them
favorite thing about them
Null + D-13: They’re both pew pew ships and they are also exceedingly adorable. Especially for characters in a bullet hell shooter. Usually they’re anime.
least favorite thing about them
Null + D-13: NOTHING
favorite line
I mean they really don’t have any lines in game.

I’ll get back to you on that. Nobody has thrown a ship in my face and I said “ewww” so.
random headcanon
D-13 is trans. Null has her own special blend of coffee that she gets. It’s completely unique. Nobody else gets to touch it.
unpopular opinion
I don’t think I’ve had any unpopular takes for these two in the community.
song i associate with them
“Against All Odds” for D-13
“Monolith” for Null
favorite picture of them
That’s gonna be difficult since there’s so little art of them. Musicano’s pieces are probably some of my faves.
Independent video game developer Team D-13 have announced After the End, a new and free content update for roguelike shooter Monolith, now available on Steam for Windows PC. Take flight in a top down action shooter with procedurally generated elements. Explore a large, abandoned facility in search of incredible power, fighting dangerous foes and gaining new weapons and upgrades as you progress.
After the End takes what roguelike fans are already calling a gem and introduces a ton of new features. There are hundreds of new rooms to explore, new weapon types, secrets, items, alternate playable ships, a bestiary, and much more. Not to mention Hard Mode, which brings unique (and deadly) new behaviors and attacks for all enemies and bosses.
“Monolith is a roguelike shmup hybrid in a fairly traditional setting,” said D-13 Owner and Head Programmer, Taylor Miller. “Wizards, knights, ghosts, spaceships, post apocalyptic ruins, and a giant talking cat.”
A 20% weeklong discount is available to gamers who buy the game through July 24th. Thereafter, the standard edition of Monolith will be available for $7.99/€7.99/£5.99. The game is currently available on Steam and coming soon to other digital retailers.
Monolith: Descending in the darkness of a long-abandoned facility, a lone ship searches for wealth, power and the scattered pieces of the past.
