What Is This?

This is a bingo style fandom  event in which a participant is given a ‘bingo card’ containing 24  prompts and 1 free space. You have the entire length of the event to  finish and post as many works inspired by the prompts as you can/would like to.

This  year’s theme is “the sound of music”. The cards will include a variety  of song titles and lyrics from various groups and singers. Participants  will be able to customize their cards (limiting groups or genres,  etcetera) through the sign up form.

Participants are able to  customize their potential prompts via the sign up sheet, but there is  always a fun element of surprise! The cards will also  include members and pairings (if you opt  in for pairings - optional).

Who Can Participate?

We welcome all ages and all writing! mxm, mxr, mxoc, or no pairing, polyam welcome as well!

Mates Chapter 1

Fandom- Monsta X

Warnings- AU, Werewolves

I sneak through the boundary and head along the track through the forest. I wouldn’t normally break rules but I’ve always wanted to hike this forest. It’s not my fault that the one time I manage to visit is the same time it’s closed for two days of the month. It’s not even known why it gets closed a few days every month. I head up the trail, enjoying the scenery as the sun begins to set. I head upwards until I find an outcropping. I sit down to watch as the stars begin to come out and the full moon rises. I hear a wolf howl but I don’t pay much attention to it.

After a little while, I get up to continue up the trail. I wasn’t planning to do this hike in the dark but it took a while for me to find a way to sneak in. I wander along, enjoying the sounds of the night when I hear a rustling in the trees beside me. I point my torch in that direction and let out a terrified squeak. It’s a giant wolfman and it’s staring right at me.

I drop the torch in fear and start running back down the trail. I hear a howl from close behind me but I don’t turn to look. I run as fast as I can, hearing the beast running right behind me. I can hear it growling and I look over my shoulder, tripping slightly as I do. I scramble up and keep running, not aware that I changed course. Suddenly I burst out onto the outcropping I was on before. I scream as I slip off the edge, thinking I’m going to fall to my death.

Suddenly, my arm is grabbed by a huge hand shaped paw. I’m pulled up onto the ground and my legs give out beneath me as my feet land back on solid earth. I gasp for breath and the wolfman sniffs along my head. I jerk away, staring at it with wide eyes. It stares back at me and it seems like there is human intelligence in it’s eyes. I carefully stand back up and ease myself around the creature before moving to run down the trail again.

I cry out as I’m grabbed, both the monster’s hands wrapping around my waist easily. I struggle and push against him but he doesn’t seem to even feel me. It lifts me up and carries me deeper into the forest. I kick and scream but it just ignores me. I struggle until I’m exhausted but it does no good. It carries me deeper and deeper until we reach a cave. It lays me down on a sleeping bag and I look around, noticing that there are neatly folded mens clothes next to the sleeping bag.

The beast lays beside me and I stay as still as I can. After a while the creature seems to be asleep, eyes closed and breathing even. I slowly and carefully stand up, stepping around the monster and heading to the entrance of the cave. I cry out as the monster grabs my ankle, causing me to fall and hit my head. As the world begins to fade away I hear a whine and I’m gently lifted up.

W.I.T.C.H - now i'm not gonna pretend to be the biggest fan but this used to be THE show for me before WINX came along and i'll always pride myself on being a witch girlie first and winx girlie second (the "not like other girls" syndrome began very early on for me); their powers, the visuals, the adventures combined with the daily struggles of teen girls, the boyfriends, the intro song omg, there is sm about this show, the countless books, the og comic.. good stuff <3

Lovely Complex - my first anime iirc, i wish people would pay attention to it (but also i'm the only one who's allowed to get it, y'know); only a young romantic towering over her classmates could have the chance of understanding my feelings for it

Hana Yori Dango - broooo- bro. this show was made for my basic romantic ass, it was my first asian drama (or one of the first), it introduced me to Matsumoto Jun, had me hooked for two seasons (though im pretty sure i binged the second season and movie in 24 hours, long after i had watched the first season..? idk what that was about)

i am of the opinion f4 thailand did best in many ways but this will forever be THE adaptation in my heart. the songs were unmatched, the drama breathtaking (there are so many cliches that i didn't know were cliches back then lol) and the experience surreal. i'll always treasure this questionable classic 💖

Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? - i enjoy this an unreasonable amount - my country's edition, that is; i just like having it in the bg and being a smartass, sometimes i run my mouth off so confidently and proceed to apologise to the tv when the contestant turns out to have been right lol

Weekly Idol - hear me out on this - aside from all of its issues, the show has always been my way of finding more about groups. especially back in 2015, those low quality episodes on yt helped me so much with getting into kpop; it can be very hit-or-miss but i have so many faves; many artists have been on multiple episodes throughout the years and yet show something entertaining every time. you can find new groups to stan through the mixed episodes and learn more about the members of groups you're already interested in (though for that i also rec individual shows like gose, wanteez, monsta x-ray etc.). i'm especially excited for eunkwang and minjoo as the new hosts, they are so funny on their own and i want to see their dynamic so bad

Pride & Prejudice - i've watched this just once but i can't not appreciate the accuracy to the book (except for the iconic lake scene lmao) and it covers british tv, 90s shows, austen books and period dramas all at once - all things i enjoy

Bridgerton - i had a whole piece written bout this but simply put - season 2 and kathony were a Thing for me. got me researching and binging a bunch of jonathan shows, reading most of the book and a bunch of tumblr posts..even looking through gifs now im going feral, i love them

New Girl - i usually play shows like this in the bg but i found myself paying a lot of attention and actually losing it laughing so many times, also nick and schmidt are the most precious intense bromance i've witnessed in fiction

Star has a red birthmark underneath her right eye (similar to in the picture). It is quite big and covers her undereye as well as parts of her cheek. She used to cover it up but once the fans found out about it, they started to compliment it and asked Star to not cover it. The first time she didn’t cover it in public she was scared but the fans positive reactions made her a lot more confident.

Life update! After almost a year of no update (but hey I'm back)

After almost a year of no update (and inconsistent updates... sorry); I'm finally back with new updates! First of all, I have a post prior to this one so check it out if you love k-dramas and have watched recent released k-dramas.

Now unto the update; A lot has happened in the past and I'll be sharing the most recent things that happened, especially during the first half of 2023. If you are ready for the long update, click the Keep Reading and enjoy!

Adding a new group in my Ult List <3

From my previous posts, I have been vocal on stanning a 4th gen boy group which is Oneus then eventually adding Onewe (though onewe is not a boy group, rather its a boy band). Unfortunately, I moved the two in my stan list and became hiatus with kpop in general but still listens to girl groups.

Now just last month, June of 2023, I was able to discover a boy group's comeback which is Bite Me from their album Dark Blood due to the "issue" that this comeback has created. I've been seeing in the news that fans of this boy group have been sending a truck to the front of their building so that they would drop the female dancers in the official choreography and performance. Now I was curious which group was it and what does it look like (the dance); that curiosity lead me to their performances and after just one video, one video of watching that certain performance, youtube recommended me with their performances through shorts (and basically recommending their videos to me). I actually do know this group already prior to this situation and I've watched their early debut mv's (From Given-Taken to Fever in 2021) and even liked some of their songs (specifically Fever which omg I love).

With the female dancers as their partners, I would say that its not really big of a deal, its just that maybe its the first time that boy group had female dancers as partners and their skinship is no joke because of the nature of the performance; and that's why the fans are fuming about it. Either way I think its fine since they are just performing.

Going back to the topic at hand, I stanned Enhypen just last month! It's a really odd but happy feeling that after a long time I've added another group to my Ult list (Just for context, Stan List is my list of groups that I listen to but not I'm not a big fan, support-wise. Like casually listening to their music and not financial support whereas in Ult List, if I've added a group there, for example Monsta X, I would listen to all of their songs, watch all of their performances and shows, and financially support them through buying merch and watching their concerts) and I have another group that I'll be spending my time, energy, and money on. So far I've been genuinely happy with this group and that I'm seeing myself supporting them in the long run. My bias btw would be Heeseung, which is the oldest and closest to my age. I thought though that my bias would be Jake, because he was the first one that I knew and caught my attention but I ended up with Heeseung because of his charisma (and their Bite Me performance in Be Original and he literally gave me butterflies in my stomach :"> ). Hopefully I get to see them soon, live because I missed their 3-day concert here in my country because I was not their fan before ugh.

Coffee Shop + Books

During my break, I was able to breathe some fresh air and got out to unwind and treat myself. With a friend, I went into a book sale and bought some books. The books were a mixture of Fiction and Non-Fiction, and as for the fiction selection, I bought Lust by Roald Dahl because the cover is so minimalist and pretty. My friend also shared that they have other books of the same author, which are Madness and Fear, but was not a fan (they haven't read both yet), and mentioned books also have pretty covers! If I had extra money during the day of the booksale I would buy all of it (though I may not enjoy all of the selection so I think one might be enough for now). Other books that I've bought are Where Dreams Descend by Janella Angeles, which I just grabbed and bought impulsively because while we were walking we just passed by it and I'm like ooh I know this one, the story/theme is like Caraval and Night Circus (and I'm a fan of the former) and its affordable so why not (plus its hardcover); And Ruin and Rising by Leigh Bardugo, third book in the Shadow and Bone trilogy, and I've been wanting to buy the trilogy for a long time but something just stops me from buying it (not sure what is it lol). Now I have the 3rd book and recently bought the 2nd one, leaving me searching for Shadow and Bone (the first book), almost done collecting it finally. For the non-fiction, I just bought a recipe book and a book called The Fast Diet by Michael Mosely and Mimi Spencer, because both are about food (cooking and dieting).

Days after the book sale, I've been into a cafe with the same friend. We arrived in the morning and left in the afternoon, not too many customers and we enjoyed our stay. The place is actually nice, the ambiance is great and we had a relaxing stay. The food was okay though, not too memorable but not bad. I'll probably go back there during my down times just to be in a different environment, though I hope more cafes open in our area so that there are plenty of options to unwind to and there are many places I can spend my money on, especially with cawfee.

Some Game Updates

Pulling my very first limited 5 star in Honkai: Star Rail

Another Hoyo Game that will rob my time and money.. i guess. So I've tried playing Honkai: Star Rail, since I am familiar with Honkai Impact 3rd (which is my very first Hoyo game) and I've spent some time with Genshin Impact, and all I can say is I'm not really invested into this game compared to Genshin Impact, and that GI has given me enough trauma that I can't stand grinding for resources and gacha. Since HSR has a similar formatting with Genshin, Imma not be addicted into this game, although its quite fun and laid back because of the auto / 2x speed, I won't spend my time with another game that has continuous timeline or story because I have other games to play. Either way, I do know their characters and I'm currently level 25 in the game which will stay that way until I don't know when really . My first official 5 star is Gepard but my first limited 5 star is Luocha. I was thinking if I'll pull for Jing Yuan since they said he was a solid DPS but I don't have enough to pull for him and then Luocha is a healer, dps-ish (haven't tried him ever since I pulled for him lol) and I need a solid healer along with Gepard who is a very good support.

I'd say HSR is a solid game but I won't be spending my time and energy into this game and stay with games that I truly enjoy. Will be sticking with Tears of Themis and Genshin Impact though I don't really enjoy Genshin Impact anymore and just a casual player who wants the new characters with the 4.0 update around the corner.

Anyway, I'm happy to get Luocha, another husbando worth pulling for. Though I just pulled him because he and Ayato have the same jap VA.

Tears of Themis 2nd Anniversary Pull Results~

Finally, it's Tears of Themis 2nd anniversary! That means new SSR for me to pull. During the first anniversary, I believe I got Artem at an early pity and then with the free tears from the activities and events, I got a bonus Luke card since I pulled for his card because he looks bulk in that card and I like it! Now it's the second anniversary and of course I need to pull for my best boy, Artem. Fortunately, I got him at around 30 pulls and at that rate I should've stopped right? Well ya girl can't just stop squealing over Vyn's card, because aside from Luke's, I think his card is 🌶️🌶️ so I did pull for it. The results were sad though, because after getting lucky with Artem, after three 10-pulls, I did get another SSR but it was Medieval Suspense (and not the anniversary card of Vyn), so I had to pull up until the 98th to get his anniversary card. It was painful because as a f2p, I used all my s-chips for his card now I'm broke. Well, at least I got that SSR and can move on into saving again for another event.

Going back to the Persona Universe!

Last thing to talk about that is game related is getting back into the Persona universe (not an official title but I would just like to call it like that) and being able to play Persona 5 Royal! 4 years ago I was introduced to Persona 3 Portable and played the game in PPSSPP and it became my favorite game of all time. I was aware that time that there's Persona 5 but it was just released on the PlayStation Console, which I don't have btw and it wasn't ported to the Windows PC until 2022. At the time of release on the PC, I've been wanting to play it but then its so expensive :< Thankfully, I have a friend in our class and she introduced me to the PC Game Pass from XBOX, and the selection of their games, Persona 3, Persona 4 Golden, and Persona 5 Royal are all included. I was able to play Persona 5 Royal for the first time and omg I haven't stopped till now. I was almost 60 hours into the game though my 3-Month subscription ended.

Anyway, my initial thoughts, its so grindy and the story is long compared to Persona 3 (which I wasn't able to finish as well due to academics; though I am planning to finish it of course, after P5R) BUT I am enjoying it and I'm looking forward into finishing the story. I'm sad that boys cannot be dated in P5R, because the lead is a boy but I'm enjoying the female characters, I've chosen Tae Takemi as the girl to date and be romantically involved with because she's cool, though if I have the chance to pick again, it would be Futaba or Makoto that I'm going to choose.

Well I hope that I'll be able to subscribe again to the Game Pass and continue playing this wonderful game (and finish the story).

Toku anon: fascinating! I didn't realize just how many groups were follow-on groups until reading that post. I also didn't know that Monsta X had a survival show (I guess a lot of the fans are trying not to bring it up. Must have been tough).

Thank you for answering my questions. Looking back, the ask was quite long, so I was worried it would be overwhelming to answer. However, your answers were very informative.

I think reality-tv survival shows might not be my thing. (I prefer when the drama is very-much fictional.) But perhaps one day I might look into some of the not-so-competitive shows, like the Ateez and The Boyz ones. Cause I can see the appeal of seeing a group of people learn to improve and work together as a team.

Also! Gonna make a list of some of these groups you have mentioned. Because if there's something I've figured out about this genre, it's that there are quite a few under-rated groups with very unique sounds.

Mhnmm! There's a lot. It's kinda like these days most debut groups have at least one member that's been on some kind of survival show. But it definitely works to bring in fans, like when groups debut I have a little look and see if I know anyone from produce or treasurebox or anything else and often I do! And yeah, I think it's general monbebe decency to forget about no mercy nfjdjd

I’ve not been well recently. Instead of writing a month in advance I’ve found myself writing right up to the scheduled published date hardly sleeping and feeling even more unwell.

I had set a target to get every member of my ult groups and ults fanfictions written and posted on their birthday. But this has become very hard to keep up as well as keeping myself healthy.

So I’ve decided to pause my work for now and not set deadlines.

I will continue to do bit by bit instead and post when finished. Rather then stressing and getting hardly any sleep to keep to date the birthday one-shots. Not even being able to focus on the requested or finish the sequels and other parts one one shots I’ve previously written.

I had spent most of this week writing The Boyz Lee Juyeon Player fourth part but in the rush I’ve felt it’s lacked the same fire then others parts. Instead of posting Friday a half hearted rushed story it deserves more then that.

So I won’t be fulfilling the schedule I set myself for this or Kim Byeongkwan Sequel to baby mama.

Though those two will be my priority instead I will write a list of Fanfictions I plan to write.

First off, Monsta X comeback next month! What are you hoping from it?

Ah yes, the gift giving holidays… they’re always so stressful, I’m scrolling Tumblr and online shopping as well.

So good that you’re sticking with it, starting a new job is sooo stressful until you get into the habits and things start coming second nature, although I supposed being motivated by such a good cause helps 😊 I’ve been at my job about eight months now, my boss lasted about two months before calling me out of the blue like will you PLEASE come clean up the messes? So now I’m here.

ALMOST OVER our struggles as Shownu Military Wives will come to an end soon. I cannot wait for his Just Some Dude videos with his egghead. And hopefully a dance cover quickly, I miss those, they’re always astounding. That video from 2020 Gayo, where he’s dancing with Ten? No shade or anything but I’m indifferent to Ten, but then there’s Shownu, significantly taller and heavier, still looking weightless and graceful even with all the additional mass. He makes it all look way too easy. Hey, hey, hey, he’s a totally normal size, much like me, since I’m also 5’11”. It’s not our fault people are short. When I’m my dad’s plus-one I have to wear heels so it doesn’t look like he brought a small child (he’s 6’5”) and then I’m like oh is this what it’s like for other people all the time?

I could sleep in one of their palms. And no, real people fan fiction makes me uncomfortable. But as a tall person, I do find it very funny when people pull the “he looked down at you” when the idol is like. 5’8”. Hongjoong from Ateez is one of my faves and that man is a short king but it isn’t embraced like it should be… he calls himself pocket sized…

I’m genuinely so obsessed with Duality. “God Damn” is so good musically and the video hits so hard. That shot is so devastating and he KNOWS it! I unfollowed soooo many people for acting like people who were affected by that video were fake fans for hyping it up over the group releases/other solo releases, cause I was like. Ongshimi was that bitch is that bitch will always be that bitch, but she did not address such a serious topic in such a caring and heartfelt way.

I’m not doing a whole lot outside of work right now. Mostly just music and photography and lifting since my performance trainings are on break for the holidays, acting ended in November and contemporary dance doesn’t start until the new year, but I found out last night that I’ve got a big trip at the end of January that I’ve got to start getting ready for, I guess. But I just put down the deposit on another set of piercings, so I’ve got that going for me. How about you, any hobbies?

Yeah I have a few hobbies I like to take on sewing projects, do some reading, listen to tunes while walking and or dancing (for fun not for sport lol) and play piano from time to time! Also before covid the fam and I used to go on road trips all the time to the states and around Canada so it was good and I miss that honestly lol So it’s not as exciting as your adventures sorry to disappoint lol I’m more of a home body some days and road tripper other days in the summer and or winter lol

By the time you were done, an hour had gone by, and you gained two cut creases with glitter, contoured cheeks, painted your lips, and looked like you were ready to go out for a date out in the city to be wined and dined. Instead, you slipped on a pair of fuzzy socks and slid into the kitchen with plans to see what frozen meal the freezer had to offer. If anything, it had the bare bones of a date. The location? Your couch. The hot leading man? Most likely the main character from whatever show you finally decided on after you gave a good scroll through Netflix. All you needed was utter disappointment and it could be considered a success.

You were torn between making the decision for frozen lasagna or chicken Alfredo, but a sudden and loud knock at the door stopped you. Eyebrows pulling in confusion, you carefully set the food on the counter, taking a moment to slip on the mask that you left hanging on the doorknob for situations like this. Not that they occurred often. With the exception of having food delivered, once the world realized that this pandemic wasn’t just a simple flu and doctors encouraged people to stay home, you hadn’t invited anyone over. It was lonely, and you missed your friends and family greatly, but this wasn’t a situation to take lightly.

“I’m sorry,” you said, opening the door once the fabric mask was securely on. “I think you might have the wrong…”

And you stopped. Stopped talking and stared. Stared at the man leaning against your door frame, wearing a black as ink suit jacket, a pristine white button up shirt was tucked into matching black pants, with the top several buttons undone to reveal a tanned and toned chest that you knew he took pride in considering all the gym selfies he sent. The black fabric mask he wore hid most of his face, but the corners of his eyes were crinkled together.
