Twistings of Fate

He listens to the echo of my voice, purging, merging his corner into mine. He can hear me. If you were ten years younger, you could be my daddy, and I could linger. Long strides and I fall in my heels. I like twisting my ankles. 

The non-sensual and the pretentious longing in me. I lie to everyone besides the ones who ask. 

The leaves fell today, and the rolling trash cans shattered their deadness. Their chosen form to die in. Nobody talks to me anymore, and I’ve sewn myself new skin. My aunt reads palms, sown myself a new destiny.

The little random things that just happened to melt from my eyes. Don't take me seriously, I’m not disturbed; this week has just left me with the feeling that there is absolutely something wrong with me.

Today was Cito's grandfather's 94th birthday, so we went out to eat. I dressed up and did make up... But I can't seem to get a photo I am truly happy with, can't seem to fake a good enough smile for camera, just not feeling myself again today - it feels like my expression in every shot seemed to be similar and it gives away my mood. Do you ever have moments of feeling that you’re watching your life happen from afar? How strange things seem and looking in the mirror feels more like a window to someone else. It reminds me of that wonderful feeling of being underwater and the world is going on out there but you’re strangely separate from it. You hear things muffled and otherworldly. I love that feeling. My current work in progress projects that feeling for me. This isn't really directed at anyone but one thing I really hate is expectations. Like being commented on why didn't you do this nice thing, “I thought you we're a good person.” But the same person who made the comment doesn't proceed to do it either and then tries to guilt trip you for not doing it.

Another thing I hate is people being nasty but then only start to care when their reputation is on the line. Like did you really care in the first place?

One thing I learnt about myself last year is that my expectations of others was too high/ unrealistic.

I learnt that we all make mistakes, we've do things we aren't proud of. Humans aren't perfect.

The difference is wether we choose to identify, learn and grow from our mistakes and try to be better people or just ignorantly ignore it.

I woke up to realize it’s St. Patrick’s Day and then only remember we’re all basically in lockdown. *sigh* never more have I actually wanted to go out into the world seeking new pleasures on this spring day. My mind can easily go dark with such restraints. However, with the dark so comes light. I will choose to use the darkness as fuel.
