Summer 2022 Retreat: Resilience & Trauma Recovery For Compassion Fatigue This retreat is for Health Care Professionals, First Responders, Caregivers, or anyone who may be experiencing workplace fatigue. It’s an opportunity to reset your goals, change your perspective, move your body, and breathe into the present moment. A place of sharing, supporting, and nurturing. A place for the healer to rest and heal. Sarah Bergakker MSN, CRNA and founder of @mooxli will be returning to the Ranch this year for a new season of Resilience, Self Compassion, and Trauma Recovery with an agenda of tools for self discovery. Sarah has curated this retreat based on her recent experiences navigating working a high stress career in health care as a nurse anesthesiologist while preserving her personal values and finding peace and equanimity within herself. She’s joined by yoga teacher @joan_miscellaneous , who brings a unique perspective to the program having experienced work related burn-out so severe, it ended her corporate executive career, and she has spent the last seven years in the philosophy and practice of yoga. Dr. Daniel Libby completes the facilitator group, offering his knowledge and experience as a clinical psychologist, executive director of @veteransyogaproject and creator of Mindful Resilience for Compassion Fatigue programs. *Mooxli is recognized by the American Association of Nurse Anesthetist as a provider of continuing education. This retreat will be certified for 20 Class A CEs.* Register here: https://featheredpipe.com/feathered_retreats/mooxli-summer-2022-retreat/ Please share with friends and coworkers who could benefit from this program! #rest #compassionfatigue #mindfulresilience #mooxli #compassion #rn #nurselife #crna #crnaschool #caregivers #firstresponders #burnoutprevention #burnoutrecovery 📸 @subtledream https://www.instagram.com/p/CY9S3gUrXNf/?utm_medium=tumblr

A call to help our healthcare workers! “I can’t do this anymore” is something so many human service professionals have said to themselves over and over in the last 24 months. And it’s a confusing feeling, because for many care providers it’s a calling as much as it is a job. We are fundraising to help four more people join the @mooxli Trauma Recovery for Compassion Fatigue retreat, July 5th-9th. The Feathered Pipe Foundation’s goal is $2,000 by Saturday May 14th—will you help us? What you are funding: Nurse anesthesiologist @mooxli ; Marine Corp Veteran and Social Worker, @sarahplummertaylor ; yoga teacher and reiki master, @joan_miscellaneous ; and Negotiation Master @fotiniicon will be facilitating sessions around setting boundaries, practicing self-compassion, negotiating at work, moving emotions through the body and using the breath to activate a restful nervous system. The retreat is open to anyone experiencing compassion fatigue and burnout in their work—healthcare, social work, teaching, caregiving of any kind. They need our help. Our second podcast episode is live: “Finding Purpose & True Resilience in the Pandemic with Sarah Bergakker.” Sarah is a certified nurse anesthetist and the founder of @mooxli_ , a company dedicated to providing self-care resources and continuing education for healthcare workers. Mooxli is an acronym for 'MOve your mindset, OXygenate your soul, and LIve life differently'—and it was born out of Sarah’s personal experience in the healthcare industry for the last quarter century, navigating through emotional, mental and physical challenges that her professional training didn’t at all prepare her for. We talk about the prevalence of burnout, substance abuse and suicide among nurses and physicians and uncover the hidden feelings that many in this field keep bottled up for fear of going against the industry’s machine-like culture. Through Mooxli, Sarah has created a safe and supportive community where healthcare professionals can learn how to care for themselves first, process emotions, release the stories that they carry and prioritize their lives—making sure that the job hasn’t taken up importance over their bigger purpose. Check it out and let us know what you learn! As always, the link to the podcast is in our bio—or search “The Dandelion Effect” wherever you listen to your podcasts! #yoga #community #resilience #healthcareheroes #burnout #selfcare #slowingdown #nurselife #findyourpurpose — view on Instagram https://ift.tt/3kz8wDs
