After a long, complicated process, my two new websites are finally ready for visitors. I have put a lot of hours and new content into making these pages about more than just business. Whether or not you choose to support my work, I hope you will enjoy your visit to my sites.

The first site, is my personal one. It includes my books, art and photography as well as info about my Redbubble site, including all of the art and photography available, and photos of some of the products available. It also includes some personal information; including my inspiration for various stories, and some questions I am frequently asked. If you like word search puzzles and/or coloring pages, you can find some on my site, all of which are free to download. Right now, there aren’t any simple coloring pages on my site, but I am working on those. For now, there is one detailed one and some stylized coloring pages. I am also currently working on pages for selective mutism and social phobia which will include my personal experiences with each.

The second site, is my company site. It includes much of the same content, though it also includes what used to be the Mortal Realm Witch Series website. In this section you can meet the characters, find quotes and excerpts from the books, and more. Like my personal site, it includes games and activities; however the word search puzzles and coloring pages are different than what’s on my site so there are a lot of activity pages available between both sites! The A&M Moonlight Creations store can also be found on the site. It includes items usually only sold through local vendor events and craft fairs. Character key fobs, handmade pillows, autographed books, Aurora plush toys, and more are available from the store.

I decided to start cleaning the attic yesterday. We are getting rid of most of what was up there, but these are few of the more interesting things I decided to keep.

Most of puzzles I kept, so far out of what we have gone through, are ones I was never interested in before, but I guess I decided if I can’t have interesting food anymore, because I am celiac with mast cell disease and other food allergies, I can build puzzles of food instead.

The paper I found was in a box of toys. I don’t remember writing the joke on it, but I know my handwriting and old artwork when I see it. Usually I would have thrown it out, but I decided to put it in my binder instead. I keep a few different journals. One of these is a binder full of memories with different things from my past in it.

For those who can’t read my writing, but want to know what it says, it says;

I don’t remember painting the dog, but I had no doubts he was mine since he was painted to look like Wishbone. Even though he’s not, I decided to give him a place with my Wishbone collection.

For those that don’t know, Wishbone was a big influence in my life. He is the reason I became a reader, when previously I hated to read. All my teachers had said I would never be a reader, but thanks to Wishbone, I read at least 400 books a year now as well as being an author and the owner of a book publishing company. It’s because of this that I try to ignore all the times teachers told me I would be a failure if I couldn’t learn to talk to people due to my selective mutism. I might not be very successful right now, but they were wrong about me before, so there’s always hope that I will prove them wrong once again!

Before I move on to the final item I found that I will be sharing today, one thing people don’t know about my life with Wishbone is that he was my imaginary friend as a kid. He was my best friend, even for years past when I should have been too old for imaginary friends.

The most exciting thing to find was the necklace. It’s not actually as chewed up as I remember it being. With my selective mutism, and other anxiety disorders, I was always super stressed out at school and always had to be chewing on something. My clothes always had holes in the collars and sleeves from all the chewing. It was one of my worst habits. In a way, when I first got the necklace, wearing it felt like always having someone with me. I used to hold it and imagine it had the power to make my friend appear whenever I needed someone. At first it almost did seem to work like that, so it wasn’t hard to imagine it had some magic in it.

Although, I had wanted to get rid of the necklace in the past, I was never able to do this. It was given to me by a friend so it had special meaning to me, but I also was never sure if the person who gave it to me was even a friend anymore as it didn’t feel like it, so I was conflicted over what to do with the necklace. All I knew was I didn’t want to get rid of it, but seeing it and wearing it didn’t make me happy anymore, instead it did the opposite. At one point I had actually buried it in the backyard. I liked the idea of considering it buried treasure since it had meant a lot to me so I thought this was the perfect solution. It would become part of my past, but would be remembered as treasure rather than garbage.

A few years ago, that’s where I thought it still was. I spent the last several years wondering what happened to it. I wanted to find it, but I figured I must have sold it and just didn’t remember, so I started trying to find a photo of myself with it that was clear enough to see it. This was actually after I spent a few hours trying to find one like it online. I had thought, even if it was too expensive for me to buy, I could at least copy the image of it so I would have that.

The reason I wanted to find the necklace even though it came to mean something negative to me, was because I wanted to create a space in my room where I could put things that have inspired stories. For some reason, I didn’t want to do this if the necklace wasn’t there in some way. Now that I found it, I might still decide to create an inspiration shelf for myself.

The story the necklace inspired was published in Tales of Familiars: The First Mortal Realm Witch Series Companion. It was titled A Powerful Friendship and was about a young witch who is given a friendship necklace by her friend, but it becomes the reason their friendship starts falling apart.

The day no one thought would arrive is finally here! I am actually in the process of updating my websites. The one I’m starting with is my personal page. So far, I have updated the homepage to include myself as an artist and photographer. If you happen to visit my website, ignore the homepage background as I will be changing that. The pages for the artwork and photography are still in progress so what’s on the homepage is all that’s there at this time, however I’m working on figuring out the best layout design for those pages based on the options I have to work with.

Also included on the homepage are actual working links to all my other sites and social media pages! I finally figured out why none of my links were working, so that alone was major progress with my site and I will now be able to fix that problem on the A&M Moonlight Creations site and the Mortal Realm Witch Series site as this was an issue across all my websites.

Besides, art and photography, I am also working on putting up the links to my stores. The link to my Redbubble store is up now and I’m creating a page on my site for some sample products available from my Redbubble store. The link to the A&M Moonlight Creations store is coming soon.

Also coming soon, is a mental health awareness section featuring selective mutism and social phobia. I haven’t figured out how to add both the photos and text in a way to make it personal and engaging without overwhelming the page with text yet, so at this time all I have is the idea of what I want to do.

I apologize to anyone who started reading this, hoping my announcement was going to be about a new book. I do have many works in progress and will continue to publish books in the future, however at this time, my focus is on making sure all my websites and social media pages are up to date before moving on to new projects

The Mentor High School Cardinal Craft Show is tomorrow, Saturday 11/23 from 9:00 - 3:00. At this time, I am planning on being there. Autographed copies of my books will be there, along with my photography, and artwork. My photography is available as stickers, glass bubble magnets, and flat magnets. Photography prints and a select few canvas prints will also be available. My artwork is currently available as key fobs and a vinyl sticker of Star, the Jack Russell Terrier. At this time, the Star sticker is available in extremely limited quantities. I only had 14 printed. I will print more if they sell and have some new designs made. Besides my stuff, A&M Moonlight Creations will be selling plush toys, pillows and more. You can check out some of the product photos below. I took these while setting up my display for tomorrow.

Today, I’m using the Jigsaw Puzzle app to build a puzzle using my own art. I kind of want to create this one for real now!

Usually, I don’t do this as my writing is one of my only sources of income and as I already go for months at a time with no income, and due to the virus making it look as if I might not have any income any time soon, this might not be the smartest idea, but I figured kids will need books to read during this time so it’s something I can do to help out a little. Anyway from tomorrow, 3/20 to Tuesday, 3/24 I will be making the first book in my middle grade fantasy series free to everyone. This will apply to the Kindle ebook edition only as I definitely can’t afford to give away print copies and the ebook edition is still Kindle exclusive as it is in the Kindle Unlimited program...at least I think it’s there. It is supposed to be but I didn’t see it when I had my free trial of KU so I’m not positive about it’s status in the program right now.
