MotoGP, the beloved, is different to the other series on this list as it is motorcycle based and fundamentally more dangerous (or adrenaline pumping, your choice).

MotoGP has it's own feeder series, MotoE (Electric bikes) Moto2 and Moto3 (actual children), there is so much happening in all three series, it's crazy.

I recommend races like Sepang 2015 (DIVORCE RACE), India 2023 (Bez Podium heheheh), Argentina 2018 (BATSHIT) and Phillip Island (always gives interesting races.)

Of course, it would make big news when Ferrari announces the engagement of the new Formula One wunderkind from Canada -- a country that may be known for their politeness, the overwhelming landscape of the Rocky Mountains, and great Hockey players, but definitely not for a long list of fast and furious racing drivers. Yet Jonathan Toews didn’t gain that title without a reason: in his rookie season, he already managed to gain 200 sensational points. He didn’t only win the rain battle of Spa Francorchamps but also the famous Grand Prix of Monaco and Japan, three victories that would have earned him a place among the best rookies in Formula one history even if he wasn’t driving an inferior car for an underdog team.

So this new liaison may be sensational, but for those who are interested, it is not a complete surprise.

The announcement of the new race engineer though is indeed both a surprise and a sensation. The American Patrick Kane is not only new to the job but also new to the Formula One in general.

In case that name doesn’t ring a bell, Patrick Kane was just like Toews once a promising rookie in the Moto GP, famous for his quick and elegant driving style and his almost insane detailed knowledge about engines, aerodynamics and stats until his beloved Honda blew up underneath him in what is still known as one of the most cryptic and also dramatic accidents in racing history. Some say fate, others mutter about sabotage -- the investigations are still going on but no matter their outcome, one thing is sure: Patrick Kane will never ride a motorcycle again, that he’s still alive and breathing and walking is a small miracle. A miracle that apparently got the attention of Ferrari team chef Bowman, who wasn’t thrown off by the lack of experience and the young age of Kane, making him not only the youngest race engineer in Formula One history ever but also the first one who is younger than everyone else on the team including both the drivers.

Too much responsibility? Maybe. Too much pressure? Maybe.

But paired with Jonathan Toews it will definitely be also one of the most interesting and exciting partnerships to watch in the upcoming season.
