the problem with having so many aus is that when i finally do start writing them it takes 2647382 years to get to the parts i most want to inflict on people. how am i supposed to force people to see Dirk (homestuck) swallow Dimple (mob psycho) so that he can force Dimple to possess him so that he can effectively run away from the horror of his time-traveling evil alternate anime overlord ultimate self now

Honestly the reason why I'm just vibrating so hard over the mp100 x homestuck crossover is because I wanna write Reigen Arataka, built up to be the Person Who Could Defeat Ultimate Dirk, and they're wondering if maybe Reigen could have some secret ability after all, or maybe Jake's Hope that this could work could mean something, or maybe he'll find the Thing make ult Dirk stop-

And then Reigen just hits ultimate Dirk in the face with a brick

my desire for a cute happy mp100xhomestuck crossover vs my desperate need for Ghost Bro Strider’s grotesquely monstrous metaphysical form bearing down over Dirk’s head, the spirit’s wooden maw held agape, rows of pearly white teeth perfectly smooth and uniform, shades melded to what might have been eyes pointing backward in lieu of ears but there are no eyes on its ‘face’, only a great, glass eye in the back of its throat when it opens its mouth, because it’s less a face and more just Mouth, searching for Dave, searching for one more little strife to put him to rest, also there are ghost swords

the difference in tone between understuck and mp100stuck is that i hope when you read understuck you imagine it in homestuck's art style, but when you read veggie epilogues you imagine everyone looking like mob psycho characters

lowkey only started writing that mp100stuck crossover bc i wanted to write fucked up looking ghost bro strider sooooo bad. just imagine youre Dirk and the ghost of one of your dead splinters appears and its this horrific quadrapedal monstrosity with tattered neon felt skin stretched like fraying and mummified tendons over a juddering metallic frame of noneuclidean angles that moves so smoothly despite it all and it seems to have no eyes, only a giant head made up almost entirely of Mouth, and when it opens its gaping maw of human teeth in a jaw that screeches together with the clang of metal hitting metal your own eyes stare back at you from the back of its throat. and beside you the kid version of your bro who you idolized, who is this creatures victim, immediately starts to have a panic attack.
