Late to the grid today. ⁣ We were late up for taking the kids to forest school so was rushing around. ⁣ Fridays are usually my favourite day. I get to spend breakfast with @spencersarc.daddy then lunch working in my favourite coffee shop and dinner with our friends. ⁣ Today though it’s half term which means half our friends are away and at breakfast Chris has to go for his “of a certain age” MOT fasting blood test. Which meant no breakfast for him! ⁣ Roll on next week when things are back to normal. ⁣ I feel so much better with a routine. ⁣ ⁣ For my “working morning” outfit today I’m wearing my black skinny jeans that I’ve probably worn most of the week (who can be bothered washing when it’s school holidays) a very old @fatface shirt my trust bargain (£10) converse. My staple pleather jacket and my favourite scarf from Desigual. Because I believe a scarf like jewellery really finishes an outfit. The weekend wardrobe so far is all about cosy layers and water proofs. The last time I wore this jumper was when I was pregnant, vented sides made for great baby bump and meant it didn't stretch. Now I can wear it casually for playing with this little munchkin. Had such a lovely day out yesterday. I even wore my new (always wanted a pair) coated jeggings. I love them and I’m sure they will feature in many more (better quality?) pictures. They are so comfy, I was worried I’d get too hot in them but nope no hot “bits” I’m happy to report. I was worried that I’d be too old for a pair being almost 40. But channeled my inner @brummymummyof2 and said you know what if I like them i don’t care what anyone else thinks. So here I am forwarding that sentiment. Letting you know wear what you want, be who you want. The sunshine seems to have gone in a little. But that’s good as it’s warm enough to wear my summer skirt, cool enough to wear my denim jacket. I don’t often wear tho skirt as I never know what to wear it with. White T-shirt’s often show every lump and bump and ones with decorations sometimes clash. Today was such a jumper and a scarf kinda day. (Well until I put my pjs back on at nap time!) Anyway I’ve done some more planning for our summer holidays. Good morning sorry I’m very late to the grid today. I’ve been focusing on getting me back, I’ve had to take a little help in the form of a family support worker. She’s great.
