The thing that hurts me the most is the fact that you know Giles didn’t leave post Season 5 because he doesn’t love the rest of the scoobies, it’s because he believed that if he couldn’t save Buffy, then he couldn’t save the rest of them either. He watched her die twice, thinking the second time was permanent. And he looked at all the ways he thought he failed as a watcher, as a father figure, a mentor, and thought that he couldn’t bear to fail them the same way. He’s convinced himself that if he stays there he’s going to watch the rest of the people he cares about die, all because of his personal failings as a mentor.

So he goes back home, only to be told Buffy is, in fact, alive. He’s overjoyed for that and tries to pick up where he left off. But he sees that Buffy is struggling, and recognizes that if he stays there at that point he’s only enabling her. She’s depending on him for financial stability and looking to ask him to discipline Dawn which he is obviously uncomfortable with. He (with absolutely terrible timing) goes again to give her a chance to stand on her own. He perceives it as an act of love and chance for growth- he doesn’t see it as an abandonment because he thinks she knows he’ll be there for her when things get really bad. He doesn’t realize the message he’s sending her. The fact is, all of them are consistently terrible at emotional communication, but what hurts so much is that nobody told Giles he was good enough.

The Watcher’s Council fired him for having a father’s Love for his charge because it was useless to the cause. That same love for Buffy ended up being a crutch after her mother died and it was actively stunting her development to do things independently. He lost Jenny to Angelus after Buffy gave Angel true happiness, and she was used to torment him. His own father didn’t treat him well.

No one has ever bothered to tell him that he is Loveable for existing. Buffy shows affection to him, but generally speaking it’s in relation to her duties as a slayer or his as a watcher. He is not aware that he is worthy of being loved unconditionally because there were always strings attached or they suddenly were killed.

Giles is a logical man. He recognizes that he is the common factor in all his relationships that either don’t work or are ended quickly. He believed that he was the problem and sought to remove himself from the situation he was presented with in order to prevent more harm because he couldn’t see the inherent goodness inside of himself more than his flaws, and because he doesn’t believe that he’s worthy of love.

I just received this for two of my divisions from DeviantArt...

The images were deleted by them and are no longer for viewing... Which I can understand as there was a small part of the image that was mostly for mature audiences...

But there is something that is bothering me...

You can set mature content...

AND make it strict and why...

I'm sure I'm wrong on this but... Unless someone reports your art, they won't say much...

Keep in mind this was for my Minecraft artwork ONLY... I have seen much worse artwork than mine on top of I have older artworks that are under the MATURE filter for the same reason. The letters I got were for my Minecraft artwork, not for my other older works.

So come to this conclusion...

Someone reported two of my artworks and gave some BS reason for them to be deleted...

Keep in mind, I'm not sad or angry that they deleted the artwork of the site because I can understand why... I'm angry that someone reported this without asking me about it first... It's under strict guidelines that only those 18 and older are allowed to read it meaning if you are under the age of 18 you can't look at it at all and yet they deleted it...

I would have been fine if I was asked to delete the artworks before they stepped in but I was never asked about anything they just deleted my artwork... And no I'm not going to repost it to the site because if they deleted they had a good reason, but if they can't specify exactly why they deleted it other than it violated their private policy, again I had it under strict rules that nobody else was supposed to look at it who is under the age of 18 and they were just automatically deleted...

I am sure if someone REALLY wanted it deleted they would tell the staff that it was a RAPE IMAGE. The staff would immediately jump in if something like that was claimed on my pictures...

I don't know... It feels like someone is personally attacking me on DA 😮‍💨 and I can't respond to them to tell the staff otherwise... Because I made sure that I was not violating any rules and guidelines...

I'm just waiting for someone to go through the rest of my art there and give me enough strikes to delete my account... It has been up for 12 years... 12!!! THIS IS MY OLDEST ACCOUNT AND A LOT OF ART IS THERE THAT I NO LONGER HAVE PHYSICALLY...

This just happened like, a few hours ago...

And now I'm scared...

When it comes to the Taimanin universe, Asagi’s life just overall sucks.

She has to live with the fact that her insane grandma killed her father during a revolt, her aunt had to kill herself to stop this rampaging monster despite atoning for said revolt, her boyfriend was forced upon by Oboro and turned into a monster before Asagi killed him, her sister went through the same torture as her in an attempt to rescue her.

However that’s just barely just scratching the surface here. Asagi’s dead boyfriend’s little brother got turned into a literal meatball, she ends up a vampire and fusing with the big bad Edwin Black in a bad end timeline, and she almost lost her protégés (Yukikaze and Rinko) in a covert operation by putting her trust on an orc who she knew could not be trusted.

Don’t you just want to give her a big hug after hearing all of that?

I knew this was coming, but it still hurts.

Why do grown adults have to be assholes about little things that bring their peers happiness?

One of my coworkers (a MANAGER) saw my Hal 9000 pin (the one I made myself, that breakfast manager thought was really cool and said I should keep wearing) and glared/pointed at it and loudly spat "what is THAT?!". She's also trying to rush me off to break (even though I can't go on break until my drawer is checked out, which the good manager was in the process of doing). She then goes and yells "Go take yo break, HAL.", saying my name as mockingly as she can.

I expected this from her, as she's super religious and her reaction to hearing that someone was ace (me, but she didn't know it was me) was a disgusted look and a comment of "they need Jesus". But this still hurts. I took the pin off in the hope that if she doesn't see it again, she won't comment and she'll forget the whole thing. But honestly, lady, why do you care? What is it hurting for me to have this little thing that makes me smile in a job where I really don't get much to smile about? And why say my name that way? What business is it of yours that I chose a different name to go by because it makes me feel better about myself (and is a beautiful name according to a customer). If this is how your 'Jesus' teaches you to be, then your 'Jesus' can go fuck himself. I don't want anything to do with him.

My brain just came to the fucking realization that Joker should technically be fat as fuck because a good number of players would take advantage of the Big Bang Burger challenge to build guts during their playthrough of Persona 5. And with the size of the burgers for the different tiers of that challenge, there is no way Joker wouldn't have put on a good number of pounds, as you cannot convince me that his metabolizism is that fucking high.
