I like to think that each Papa had a personal room besides their bedroom that they kept hidden from most. Only people they really trusted were told about it/ shown where it was since to each of them it was a safe space.

Primo's room was unsurprisingly filled with herbs and plants, there is a sort of alchemy station in there too. Anything that he could not grow outside or in his greenhouse was put in that room. He also used the room to breed his plants to create interesting hybrids which he then studies. Primo also had a very old radio in that room just for some background noise. How he managed to get all the things he needed for their care into there without anyone noticing is still a mystery.

He often loses track of time when in there, tending to his plants not thinking about anything else for once. He sometimes hears siblings or ghouls walk past the room and chuckles wondering if some of these had been sent to search for him. Primo while wanting to keep this space hidden wouldn't be too upset if he was ever found knowing he could move his plants somewhere else if he needed to.

Secondo's room was his own little library and reading space, it's the most out of the way from all of them and sometimes he regrets having to walk that far to get to it but once inside it's all worth it. There is a very comfortable armchair with matching footrest, a silk blanket for colder days and nights, and candles to set the mood (some of them are scented). Then of course there are bookshelves all kept in matching dark wood filled with all kinds of literature.

It's the one space he really manages to relax in, no being Papa at all just being himself. Sec hates when he hears somebody come even close to the room he doesn't want to be found he wants to be left alone. Though there are some exceptions, a few of his ghouls know about the room. They also know to leave him alone when he is in there but sometimes one of them joins him. Staying quiet either just relaxing in the calm room while he reads or themselves reading something.

Terzo's room is close to where the ghouls sleep, it keeps most people away and it makes him feel safe. Unlike the others the room doesn't have one specific use, it's really more a second bedroom than anything. He hates how his *real* bedroom looks, how it feels more like something you would show off than actually live in. It doesn't fit him and he hates that he can not make too many changes to it so he instead just made another room just like he wants it.

It's not all fancy and proper like his other one, it's mismatched since going out and buying all new stuff would have been suspicious. It is a little messy but it makes him feel safe and happy so to Terzo it's perfect. His ghouls 100% know about it and are welcome there, especially Omega who spends a lot of time there with him. The ghouls are also the ones that make sure nobody finds that room.

Copia's room is still new, it started as him wanting to store some things to get his own room a little less messy but evolved from there. First, he made room for his rats, having them in a room kept them out of trouble while giving them some playing space. Then he added things for himself so he could spend more time there comfortably. Which meant he needed to move some of the stuff he at first wanted to store which lead him to find Primo's hidden room.

Most of the plants are dead but a few survived, he takes them to his room and takes care of them from this point. Next, he finds Terzo's it makes his stomach cramp being in there for long but he takes an old vanity box filled with letters, early drafts of songs, and a few other trinkets, like Terzo's earrings, with him. Last he finds Secondo's room by then having looked for it thinking that if the other two had one he surely did too. Aether helps him carry one of the smaller bookshelves to his room.

He puts the box into a free space in the shelf and the plants on top of it. He will never read those letters that Terzo had written and received, but he frames some of the early drafts of his songs. He goes back grabbing some more of the plants, he can't save them but he presses them and makes a booklet. He goes through the books making sure they are in okay shape at least.

The three might be gone but the memories of them weren't at least not to Copia.

Got a new sign for my room

I'm not exactly sure what to make of my gender? I never really put much thought into it until recently when I started working out. I used to be worried about loosing my boobs, but now I don't care. I just wanna look hot with muscles lol. I've always dressed as a tomboy and i've been more inclined to wear a suit for special occasions lately (still getting used to dresses, they just look so off-putting when I see myself in one) but I also love the typical girly stuff like makeup, getting nails done, jewelry, and I just recently started feeling comfortable in skirts. And lately i've been really curious about beards, imagining myself with one. Even thinking about using makeup to make my face seem more masculine. I'm not exactly trans since I also like my boobs and would want to keep them, and also compression bras are a thing if I want them hidden. I don't mind being addressed as she/her, but I also wouldn't mind he/him.

Oh hey, I finally have an explanation for "Cycleverse" that's non spoilery.

So, mine, @dreamseersystem and I'm like 90% sure @jumpybox 's opinion on eternity and immortality is if you have the same existence for thousands of years, it gets boring as hell. And then getting attached to mortals over and over only for them to die hurts like hell (something that's actually an important feature of a few sibverse characters. One of the Nightmares actually didn't truly lose it until a mortal he was very close to was killed brutally. I friggin love Morph)

Anyways! So centuries/millennia post sibverse one of the characters finds a way to basically bend reality and take a huge chunk of the by then blended multiverse and put it in a single timeline in which all of the SOULs are constantly being reincarnated over and over again, Guardians who become a part of this included. There's more plot to that concept, but it is basically an excuse for us to write fanfiction of our fanfiction and throw everyone into different scenarios.

Current written scenarios are harem/kingdoms timeline, and a modern! based timeline where one of the main features is that Star is the "younger" sibling instead of Nova

Unwritten ones are- everyone as bitties (Jumpy goes nuts for bitties ok), and a kind of 1920s based AU

I was doing fine checking mha art enjoying some gag mangas and then saw how incredibly kinky midnight's beta design was..

And holy hell.. The muzzle her basically just wearing belts.. And a corse. What if she ripped all the belts and corse with flab and the remains of it were the only things keeping her decent. A bit of rambling, and maybe I'm speaking too soon, but so far I've had a more enjoyable time back on Tumblr in the week I've been back since I quit seriously being on here three years ago, than the three years I've spent on twitter. And I'm still dealing with the shellshock.

Coming from twitter, I am used to people being absolutely so volatile that I actually became afraid to even say hello to people because I never knew what I was going to be met with.

And here I've had people message me such nice things and just act polite to me if I asked them something, and I've just been so used to people acting needlessly rude or defensive that having people actually be nice/courteous made me double-take.

On top of all of it, it actually feels like I can share Ellie's lore with no shame or fear of embarrassment because someone will call her cringe or something, or worse, say she's not a valid character because she bends the lore in a lot of places.

TLDR: I've only been on tumblr for less than a week but the sheer difference between here and my experience on twitter is such a culture shock, it's hard for me to process that people here are just nicer, if not that then far more patient and understanding.

So this post came across my dash again and it made me think things again and since nobody can stop me I will talk about it now.

So for anyone that didn't click on the link for some reason, the post is about how each of the ghoul's masks is a little different. They have different horns and patches on the mask itself for example. This is probably not something you would be able to spot on stage unless you pay really close attention. But it is really cute how they each have a personalized mask instead of all being the same.

This made me think about two things: 1) What if the ghouls start out with basically a base of the mask which they get to personalize how they feel like. 2) What if the other masks were all personalized as well but just not in a way it could have been spotted by people.

Because I love the idea of a new ghoul sitting down with the pack where the others explain how this works. Some choose to do it all by themselves and some do it with the others. Now there are some things that can't be changed but it's still a fun thing to do. If a ghoul ever retires from touring they get to keep their mask.

Now I can see Primo and Secondo not really caring about things like that so their ghouls all had the same masks but Terzo? You know that man did something extra to them. They all start out looking the same but one day he asks all his ghouls to hand them over, doesn't explain why and he just vanishes with them for a while.

When he is back he just hands them over again, from the front they look the same but the inside is now engraved. It has the same symbols as their uniforms down one side. On the other, there is a more personal symbol (like for Omega it's the Ω). But the most important thing is what is engraved on the forehead a short sentence in Latin. It is different for all of them but it reminds them that to their Papa they aren't just some nameless ghouls.

Copia I think just took that concept and ran with it, at first when still a cardinal he just copies what Terzo did. There are some symbols and a short sentence though it is the same for them all since by that point he didn't know them too well. But oh when he becomes a Papa? He goes all in and you know it.

When he presents the ghouls with the base mask they are all confused since well it seems to be missing things. That is when he tells them, maybe a bit too excited, that they would get to choose those missing things. He goes over everything with them explains what is possible and what is not and just lets them have fun. They don't actually put the mask together all finished since that would be chaos but they get to choose everything and get an idea of how it will look.

When he gets the personalized masks back he adds one more thing, two patches on the inside. One says who the mask belongs to and the other with a short Latin sentence, each one different but reminding them all that they are more than nameless ghouls.

The thing that hurts me the most is the fact that you know Giles didn’t leave post Season 5 because he doesn’t love the rest of the scoobies, it’s because he believed that if he couldn’t save Buffy, then he couldn’t save the rest of them either. He watched her die twice, thinking the second time was permanent. And he looked at all the ways he thought he failed as a watcher, as a father figure, a mentor, and thought that he couldn’t bear to fail them the same way. He’s convinced himself that if he stays there he’s going to watch the rest of the people he cares about die, all because of his personal failings as a mentor.

So he goes back home, only to be told Buffy is, in fact, alive. He’s overjoyed for that and tries to pick up where he left off. But he sees that Buffy is struggling, and recognizes that if he stays there at that point he’s only enabling her. She’s depending on him for financial stability and looking to ask him to discipline Dawn which he is obviously uncomfortable with. He (with absolutely terrible timing) goes again to give her a chance to stand on her own. He perceives it as an act of love and chance for growth- he doesn’t see it as an abandonment because he thinks she knows he’ll be there for her when things get really bad. He doesn’t realize the message he’s sending her. The fact is, all of them are consistently terrible at emotional communication, but what hurts so much is that nobody told Giles he was good enough.

The Watcher’s Council fired him for having a father’s Love for his charge because it was useless to the cause. That same love for Buffy ended up being a crutch after her mother died and it was actively stunting her development to do things independently. He lost Jenny to Angelus after Buffy gave Angel true happiness, and she was used to torment him. His own father didn’t treat him well.

No one has ever bothered to tell him that he is Loveable for existing. Buffy shows affection to him, but generally speaking it’s in relation to her duties as a slayer or his as a watcher. He is not aware that he is worthy of being loved unconditionally because there were always strings attached or they suddenly were killed.

Giles is a logical man. He recognizes that he is the common factor in all his relationships that either don’t work or are ended quickly. He believed that he was the problem and sought to remove himself from the situation he was presented with in order to prevent more harm because he couldn’t see the inherent goodness inside of himself more than his flaws, and because he doesn’t believe that he’s worthy of love.
