NAME: Inflicts confusion with its length and nature, and no one got the pronunciation right.

NICKNAME: Rinnie.

FACE CLAIM: Chibi version of Sakura Kinomoto from Cardcaptor Sakura.

PRONOUNS: She/her and they/them.

HEIGHT: 158 cm ( I suck at converting in feet and inches ).

BIRTHDAY: July 30th.

AESTHETIC: Black platform loafers, collar chains, colored contact lenses, lofi, matcha tea ( or just any tea ), round rimmed glasses, small birds chirping at the windowsill, sunlight coming through the cracks of the blinds on a peaceful morning.

LAST SONG YOU LISTENED TO: Saturday Night by G.O.D. ( ‘cause 1st generation idols are amazing & I need a bop to wake myself up after a 4-hours sleep ).

FAVORITE MUSE(S) YOU’VE WRITTEN: Juniel ( forever faithful to my first and still ongoing muse ) & her mutant counterpart ( despite very brief, hopefully making a return someday ).

THE MUSE

WHAT INSPIRED YOU TO TAKE ON THIS MUSE: November 24th, 2012, was the day I dived into the world of roleplaying. At that time, I didn’t know much about this universe and who to choose as a muse. Juniel made her Korean debut on June 7th of the same year. I thought ❝ Oh, maybe I could portray her since she also just started in something as well. ❞ and I would follow her journey while including a touch of creativity and fiction. Her appearance, her aura, her character, her demeanor and her music. All those factors drew me to her. Fast-forward to the present time, 8 years passed by and she’s still around. My muse had gone through big events, some pleasant, others heartbreaking. She met people who impacted her in good and bad ways. All those elements shaped her to who she is now. My curiosity for her hasn’t faltered at all. What will happen next? What will she do next? From what I believe to be a one-dimensional muse due to my inexperience at first turned out to be a multi-layered sweetheart who I can’t stop writing about since it just comes naturally with her.

Oh, and I adore the thrill of roleplaying an underrated female faceclaim. It’s like I am on a mission to expose Juniel to the world.

WHAT ARE YOUR FAVOURITE ASPECTS OF YOUR CURRENT MUSE: There’s always something going on in her life somehow. The ups and downs are interesting to write about. Her days may be trivial with the daily grind of celebrities but the past events ( e.g. the long hiatuses in between comebacks while struggling to actually have her original tracks approved by her former company, the initial backlash during her debut as she was always compared to IU, the public’s most loved soloist, yet the popularity she earned from her classic title tracks, the unfortunate romantic relationships she had gone through ) caused turbulence in my initial perception of my muse. Definitely for the better.

I like how unexpected things can get when I’m writing with her. Sure, I could drop her and start over whenever it was rough, but that would ruin the fun of knowing all the potential scenarios I never thought of.

WHAT’S YOUR BIGGEST INSPIRATION WHEN IT COMES TO WRITING: Oddly, the interactions themselves? Of course, books, dramas and movies are sources that can’t be turned down. However, I found myself inspired from hearing other rpers’ opinions when plotting, from imagining the possibilities in my muse’s reactions and replies to other muses. After all, roleplaying involves writing with others. The dynamic exchanges, both in character and out of character, are what makes writing exciting!

Oh! And there’s music! It sets the mood whenever I write something in particular. I specifically choose songs depending on their lyrics. I never write without music.

FAVORITE TYPES OF THREADS: Angst and fluff are what I feel the most comfortable writing about. If anything else, I like when threads allow me to delve deeper elements I wouldn’t have thought through for my muse, trivial or not. Whenever it implies a detailed explanation behind my muse’s actions and reactions, I love it.

BIGGEST STRUGGLE IN REGARDS TO YOUR CURRENT MUSE: Well, there’s always writer’s block combined with limited time allotted to the hobby since real life isn’t kind... but there’s also the awareness about English not being my first language. I do not have a vast and varied vocabulary as some rpers do. I’m aware my writing may appear simple, but I’ve learned to appreciate it. Though, the challenge remains in how to make it interesting to the other person. It is still complicated for me to write heavy descriptions rather than focus on the inner part of my muse. I also find it difficult at times to write with a distinctive flow. I always make sure there is one as I read my replies aloud before posting them. I have that tendency to delete an entire reply to start over. Just because it doesn’t sound right.

A recent struggle I noticed that can potentially take the first place is the lack of plots I desire to do. I apologize to all the rpers I approached so far with a blank mind ( my only compensation to it being my enthusiasm to find something fitting for everyone ). I guess my muse is dependent on others more than my own ideas. I’ve always gone with the flow!

5. What’s something about your character that you’d like if you had to spend time with them?

her cooking. if i got to hang out with sakura i would literally request to try anything she made. yes, she follows the recipes from a book or something but, i would love to try the food she would make! i also just love food.

28. What do you like about roleplaying angst?

Everything. Like no joke, i love everything when it comes to writing angst. seeing my muses being very upset is the best because everything cant be sparkles and rainbows. i just… love seeing all the possibilities with angst and how it affects the muses and the writers. it’s just fun. especially when the angst hurts so much that the writer is yelling at me. c:

36. Do you ever read rp threads you aren’t involved in? What type of thread does it usually have to be to interest you?

wow… just because i sent you this question smh.

yes, i do tend to read threads between others. sometimes its mostly just skimming them and being like ‘ooo interesting’. as for how it usually interests me, well honestly… it has to be a  thread with a character or characters i know ahahaha ;; if its characters i know you bet i will skim through to see whats going on between them. i like to see how other characters interact with each other compared to how they interact with my muse.

What drew you to rping this character?

That’s difficult to answer, mostly since I’ve been writing Sasuke since 2012. I started to dive into rp only 2 years ago, but by then I had written Sasuke-centered fanfiction and obsessed over him on a daily basis.

I guess I’ve come to like him initially because of Sakura. She used to be my favorite character of the show, and I wanted to understand why she never stopped loving him. I then fell in love with Sasuke myself, I assume because I wanted people to love and forgive me like Sakura loved and forgave Sasuke? It fascinated me how people could care so much about someone that had wronged them on multiple occasions.

So, yeah, I think that’s what started it, but Sasuke kept drawing me in because of his complexity. He’s a hard nut to crack, and I was too curious to let it go. I still am.

What’s something you like about how you write?

I’m not sure if I have a clear-cut answer to this. My opinion about my writing changes constantly, and I find new things I like and dislike whenever I look at it. But I think there’s a tendency. I usually like how I portray thought or internal dialogue. Especially the mental health aspect that goes into it. It’s what I consider most fun about writing in the first place, so I think that’s part of the reason why.

I’m aware that I likely make a lot of mistakes in portraying Sasuke’s various degrees of mental health “correctly” (there is no one right way of writing it in the first place), but I like it regardless. Which doesn’t mean I don’t beat myself up when I realize I messed up a couple of thread replies back. I hate that. It’s very difficult to correct without making Sasuke appear ooc.

Character in general:  Okay, so Sakura is by far my favorite Hoshido sibling! SHE IS JUST SUCH A GOOD AND I WOULD DIE FOR HER. Honestly, though I get so emotional over Sakura, like she’s been through so much and she’s so young but she does her best and always stays true to herself. I don’t think she gets as much time to shine as she deserves (she deserves an entire game about her okay like Sakura as the main lord we appreciate and love Sakura in this household), but she’s still a wonderful character that drew me in and made me interested in the game! I love her a lot, and adore the supports she has in-game, and I adore the dynamic relationship she has with her retainers.   How they play them: *GETS ON THE LOUDSPEAKER* YOU ARE INCREDIBLE AND I AM EMOTIONAL. You are such an amazing writer; your replies make me cry and smile at the same time and I adore reading them. I could reread them a dozen times and they would still be just as wonderful as they were the first time around. Honestly, you write Sakura better than canon ever could, and I just adore seeing you on my dash, giving her the love and attention she deserves. Sakura was already a great character, but you made her better, and your style compliments her so well. I know I can hear her voice in your replies, but I feel like saying that doesn’t do justice to just how well you write her. I am so blessed by having the chance to write with you (and for you being willing to write with both Li and Tsubaki I’m so touched! I could go on for days about how much I adore your interpretation of her, but I would probably sound like a broken record, but know that *TURNS UP VOLUME* YOU ARE A WONDERFUL WRITER AND YOUR SAKURA WATERS MY CROPS AND GIVES ME LIFE.      The Mun: YOU ARE SO SWEET I CANNOT BELIEVE YOU PUT UP WITH ME!!!! I’ve spent hours reading from the beginning to end of a few and I couldn’t find anything better to do with my time. AND YOU CAN READ HER THEME.

Holy crap. I have spent so much money on this game in the first days that my collection has become a bit insane. 2. What drew you to rping this character?

okay hear me out, sakura has been one of my fave magical girls (would she be one? i think so) since like forever since i learned about ccs like… years ago. it wasn’t until recently (like… last year maybe the year before) when i was talking to a friend about her and we started rewatching ccs together that i wanted to pick her up as a muse. although, even before that i was thinking about it cause i just love magical girl characters a lot and i was wanting to give it a try and well… here we are now. 

3. What’s something you like about how you write?

this is a tough one, i tend to overthink and feel like my writing isn’t the best. mostly cause i suck a proper punctuation. if i had to think about something i like to about my writing is when it comes to my oc’s, i guess i tend to write well enough it makes people think they are a canon character ( at least that’s what i was told once. ). i guess with muses that would be considered canon and my writing, i like my writing when i am able to get the characters expressions and feelings across properly. asdsgwfdas i probably answered this weird.

8. What’s a similarly you have with your character?

a similarity i have with my muse… i wanna say its the making friends easily. there is a small difference with it though, sakura easily chats with people and tends to form friendships very quickly. while with myself its takes a hot second to even try to communicate but, afterwords its like super easy (especially if there is something similiar me and the other person like). i also tend to be similar in how she cares for her friends and tries her best to always help them out and make sure they are safe. i am a worrywart over my friends.
