I've mentioned before that the Oasis production preserves a lot of pre-revival features that have disappeared from every other replica production, like the old Grizabella design, and the classic tap choreo in 'Gumbie cat'. One of the less obvious survivals is this moment: it's Mungojerrie who tries to steal Pouncival and Mistoffelees' spotlight during the fugues section of the bal.

Despite the 1998 movie, it was usually Mungojerrie in the London tradition up until the 2014 revival, not Alonzo/Plato as in Broadway-based productions.

This is Oasis cast 12, early July 2022: Samuel Lewis-Wright as Mungojerrie, Henry Rhodes as Mistoffelees, Will Geoghegan as Pouncival, Noelani Neal as Cassandra, and Lucy Rice as Bombalurina.

Andrés Pérez López is Pouncival and Dane Quixall is Mungojerrie. For the rest, I'm fairly sure Marleen de Vries is Rumpelteazer, Anique Bosch is Victoria, John Baldoz is Coricopat, and Isabela Silvova is Tantomile. (X) All of which would make this the first year of the tour: 2010–11!
