Ignis pleads for Zack to simply took upon him, and though he wishes with all his might to do just that, how can he? How can he bear to look into the eyes of the man whom he loves so damn much without erupting into tears?

Zack hadn't admitted it to anyone, not even Nyx, that every night, he cried himself to sleep, mourning the loss of what he and Ignis once had. And what sleep he got was little as he woke frequently, shaken from dreams of their once blissful life together by the recollection of their break up. He'd wake, his bed empty and his heart cracking that much more.

Several weeks now they had been apart, the glaive doing what he could to keep his mind occupied. Nothing but silence between them. Until tonight when Zack received word he had a visitor. He set his training aside for now, departing to find Ignis awaiting him.

But why?

It was with hesitation that Zack slowly turned, lifting his sorrowful, dim, blue gaze to the advisor. He was looking, as asked. Because there was nothing Zack would deny him. Broken up or not, Ignis was still Zack's entire world.

"Did you need something, sir?"

Iggy gets a shave an a haircut because that's what you do after a redemption arc. He sometimes also forgets certain new features between transformations-- usually the horns and pointy teeth. Sometimes his tail if he's ESPECIALLY distracted, but he hates it when that happens. Cricket always assumes it's on purpose!

The Donut King tank top is canon.

"..." Noctis tries to catch Ignis off guard by giving him a boop in the nose (while he's fishing, mind you. Nothing should get in the way of fishing, but the boop is more important to the prince right now.)

What? When?! HOW!? His highness had been fishing, eyes locked on the water for a bite--- one needs the most UNWAVERING of focus to fish, so how had... no, when... " Noct! "

Iggy's eyebrows raised as she rinsed the blood off of her hands in the almost clinical looking sink in her mother's large house. The corners turn down in a nonchalant frown before shrugging, "No it's not."

Iggy's done a lot of stupid things, getting into a fight in a dark club? Not even close to the top. Sticking a fork into a toaster, breaking a glass bottle over her brothers' heads, tax fraud, it was a long list but that night she would count it as a victory. She fucking won. She got to watch a man's eye burst. There was a fury that didn't seem to ever wane, a need for bloodshed like a feral dog that is constantly hungry.

"I won, it would be stupid if I were in a hospital," She soon shakes her hands dry to push her long hair out of her face before turning to make eye contact, to read her company's facial features, to really take in the damage of the night.

     It was not the best of days for the glaive. He’d been sent out on a mission, which he was far from ready for and had only just returned home after nearly three weeks. He could have stopped in for medical treatment, but he longed for nothing more than to curl in his own bed, ensnared within the arms of his beloved boyfriend.

     But he couldn’t allow Ignis to see him in such a state...But it was too late. Zack arrived home to find Ignis in his apartment. Not uncommon as the blond looked after the glaive’s pet while out of town.

     Zack froze. Smears of dried blood, gashes, and bruises littered his frame. His clothes were in nearly worse condition.

     “Uh...honey, I’m home?”
