> rette’s nickname,   for some obvious reasons and others not as much,   is   ‘ red. ’   those reasons are  :  her hair,  which is the most obvious,  and how her name sounds if you say it too quickly.   as of right now,   only her family,  @wilczmin ‘s   ger.alt,   @msktfired ‘s   ara.mis ,  and   @belleteyne​ ‘s   yenn.efer   are the people she would allow to call her that   ( this may change with character interaction ) . 

> and by allow  . . .   there’s nothing that she can really do to stop them from calling her that,   but she will certainly be ornery about it. 

> it is a term of endearment,  and even as it annoys her,   so a small fraction of her enjoys it.   this is not something she will admit freely.   ( none of these people have used the nickname yet in current thread ) .

> the relationship between rette and those three people are very different in nature.   geralt is both the man who let her down and who saved her,   aramis is a close friend who brings out her inner child and a flirt that causes a tinge of blush to appear upon her cheeks if he were to call her that,   and yennefer who is a motherly figure as well as close confidant.

there was some twig wrapped up tightly in her  massive amount of hair   that she couldn’t find.   selina pointed it out and curls were pulled apart to search for it to no avail.   there’s a soft huff before she gives up and turns to the other.   ❝ would you just get the thing out? ❞   for once,   the redhead with sunny disposition is annoyed.   with eyes that could better see the lodged object,   selina pulled it out,   but not without accidentally brushing knuckles against the deep set of scars on rette’s neck.   scars that were hidden by hair,   normally.    immediate reaction was to flinch away.   flesh still sensitive at the freshness of wound that had healed within the past months.   they were pink as all new scars are.    ❝  sorry,   i wasn’t expectin’  . . .  you didn’t hurt me or anythin’ . .  ❞   voice trailed off in embarrassment and grabbed chunk of hair to tug over her shoulder and hide them from view once more.   she wasn’t quite comfortable with the newest addition to her body yet.

Khadasiah “Sia” Blaisie is one of the newest recruits to the Intelligence Unit. Her and Sergeant Hank Voight have gotten close in her time working for him, forming a sexual/romance filled relationship that no one else knows about. Before working for Chicago P.D., Khadasiah told Intelligence that her, her sister, and their friend (all who work for Intelligence currently) met and grew their skills in Boston P.D.’s homicide unit. This is where Alvin Olinsky met and befriended Sia when he was on a business trip there. No one in the Intelligence Unit knows her true status, all of it being classified.

Khadasiah Blaisie, also known as Special Agent 722, is a CIA Special Operative. She handled major undercover cases in France. Russia, Switzerland, Canada, and England. She is still formally a CIA agent, but has chosen to do regular police work as of right now. She knows that one day her past will come back to bite her in the ass, especially the one she left in France. The directors made her codename “Muse” for the fact that she is an image of inspiration and intelligence, and always gets the job done. They But she is glad that she is in Chicago and can put it behind her for the time being.

Adelina “Addy” Bishop is a Massachusetts born former paralegal who works as a detective under Hank Voight in the Intelligence Unit. She was recruited due to Khadasiah Blaisie’s recommendation to Commander Perry, who unequivocally placed her in the unit alongside Sia. No one except them knows that they worked together before being assigned to Chicago, and they intend on keeping it that way. Hank often pairs her with Detective Antonio Dawson, and they have maintained a playful yet flirty relationship in the months that Addy has been in Intelligence.

Adelina Bishop, also known as Special Agent 446, is a CIA Special Operative. Like Agent Blaisie, she has handled major international undercover crimes, some of them also bring homebound in the United States. Her family is assured complete safety from the federal government, and her supervisor reassigned her to work in Chicago PD until they needed her for another case. Her codename is Pandora because of how much of a protector she is. She has a guardian-like persona and feels defeated when someone she cares about gets hurt.

Kataleya “Kat” Blaisie is the last of the theee newest recruits. Along with her older sister, she worked in Boston (Narcotics, although Sia worked in Homicide) before being transferred to Chicago. Since Olinsky is one of the last “old-timers”, Sia was a bit hesitant when Voight partnered them up, mainly because Kataleya is black and a female. Even though they bicker often because they were both so headstrong, Al genuinely cares about her. Even though he is trying to patch things up with his wife, him and Kat shared a steamy exchange during an undercover mission and they nearly continued after work hours. Kataleya is good police and always looks out for her older sister.

Kataleya Blaisie, also known as Special Agent 817, is a CIA Special Operative. Many of her major undercover cases were in England, France, South America, and Australia. She has versed herself in american-bound crimes and how they compare to their international counterparts. Her codename is Baby due to how many times she was called that undercover due to her age appearance. She was called once to pose as an estranged duchess in order to identify an assassin wanting to take a hit on a royal family. Kataleya wants to completely forget her undercover gigs and focus on her future at CPD. She eventually wants to leave the CIA and start a family, but she knows something bad will keep her from it.

Since Burgess and Ruzek are a thing, I didn’t want to make him a ship. These three will be my main characters in doing short stories, imagines, one shots, and other things with Chicago PD. This information will be updated once I get better templates for the CIA dossiers, but this information is crucial to the short story i’m writing about them. It was originally supposed to be only Hank and Sia, but I decided to expand it.

Vent på meg / Wait for me - Hadestown

Hadestown er en gjenfortelling av den klassiske fortellingen om Orfeus og Eurydike. Her tar historien sted ved en jernbanestasjon, hvor Hermes er stasjonsmester. Banen går kun ett sted - ned i minene til Hades’ By. Mens de som lever på overflaten er fattige på gods og eie, er de som jobber i minene fattige på helt andre ting. Hvert år reiser Persefone fra Hadesby til overflaten, og med henne kommer våren. Men ting er ikke som de skal mellom Persefone og hennes mann Hades, og været har endret seg. Orfeus, som er sønn av en muse, jobber med en sang som skal ha krefter til å rette opp i disse “klimaendringene” slik at det igjen går ann å dyrke mat på overflaten.

Eurydike og Orfeus forelsker seg, men når det atter blir vinter og kaldt, merker Eurydike presset for å overleve. Orfeus er opptatt med å jobbe på sangen sin, og Eurydike er alene med å forsørge dem begge. Da hun ikke klarer mer, reiser hun ned til Hadesby for å jobbe i minene. Men ingen kommer noen gang tilbake fra Hadesby. Her nede glemmer man alt om sitt gamle liv, og jobber til man dør.

Hermes forklarer Orfeus hvordan han skal finne veien ned til Hadesby, for å hente Eurydike tilbake til overflaten.

sharing her house with a man hadn’t had many instances of awkwardness other than things that were in the norm.   they had their own space with her having her own little room and he stayed in the designated living area.   orbiting each other like the moon and a planet,   they drew closer to only drift further the next moment.   he’d allowed her passing touch,   gentle grasp of hand or arm round shoulder.    they’d fallen asleep together on the same couch and shared meals by the fire.   and still,   she wasn’t sure where they stood.   he’d left for a few days and she took care of his dirty clothes as well as the blankets he’d slept with.   she finds one shirt,   mostly clean as it only is wrinkled slightly and the faintest scent of sweat.   he must have only worn it for sitting around in the house one day with her. 

it was early in the morning,   only clad in her underclothes and she’d slept with his shirt beside her head.   when she got up,   she held it up and the sun rays shown through the thin,  cream colored material.   and then   ---   she slipped it over her head before she knew what she was doing.   it was slightly large on her,   though not overly so because he wasn’t substantially taller than her. 

tommy was quiet.   quiet enough that she hadn’t heard him enter and was surprised to find him faltered in the doorway.   rette doesn’t find it appropriate to remove the shirt because then she would be even further undressed.   her legs were already fully shown and shirt hem barely covered the curve of her bottom.  but the silence was heavy.     ❝ tommy,   i didn’t expect you . . .  ❞   she trails off.   feeling quite silly and flushed from tips of her ears to center of her chest.
